Cassie was always looking for true, devoted affection & care from every guy she encountered. Sadly she could never get it.....
I am agree the only guy she could get it was sid the creators and writters confirm that sid found cassie in New York i think that she still love sid they spend several years travelling across united states and i dont where more but i think if skins continues either books movie or the series continues maybe we could see sid and cassie again together and maybe cassie would tell to sid that she is so sorry because she will love him forever that what sehe said in season 1 and there we can see that she still love him she doenst get it with other boy i hope that some day skins continue i would like to see that sid and cassie get marry all skins fans would love it

In Pure, Cassie had a lonely sobriety that was in stark contrast to her younger self, a manic pixie girl "in love with her own ruin." It made me a little sad, but also relieved in a way to see that emotional growth--less drama and more gravitas. It seemed every guy she developed a close personal relationship with, Sid, poor Chris, Jakob, Yaniv, and even her father were all different orders of "man-child" that let her down in different ways. I think then it was fitting and poignant in the end that she committed herself to her little brother, finding purity in a relationship that she both nourished and found nourishing.

How did Sid let her down? She ran away and left him behind again and he chased her again cause he loved her.
Well, let's see. He accused her of cheating on him without proof and then proceeded to cheat on her. Then he had the audacity to call her "cruel" for sleeping with other people when they weren't even together anymore and it was none of his business who she slept with. Sid was self-centered and pathetic. He wasn't good for Cassie.

A good writter, write about real characters. Cassie is soo real that hurts. The real problem in all the TV show always was the parents, they didnt care the life of their children running wild, but feeling deeply empty. I think that it imposible writte a happy ending for Cassie.

I never got why Cassie involved herself with Jacob. There's nothing sweet or innocent about him taking sneaky photos of her, it doesn't matter if they're "decent" photos of her he's still stalking her and being a creep. It doesn't matter for what reason he does it or what he does with the photos. Jacob deserved this, but that doesn't make it any better. Very quick reaction from Yaniv shows that he's not exactly afraid to use violence. He didn't even ask any questions. Poor Cassie.

@@alcesisalcesis937 I think mentally he brought back all that pain she once felt when she was going through her eating disorder, the drugs, everything. He was the only person in NYC that she knew, so being stuck in one city with one person who you've known and loved, experienced everything with, could affect you. She probably wasn't ready to go back to that, no matter how much she loved him.
well if you can remember on the beginning of the Pure episode she told the lady from her flat that she broke up with her boyfriend back in NYC and i think it was confirmed that it was Sid she was referring to.

Exactly. The final season was awful for all the characters. I mean Freddie the love of Effy’s life dies because her crazy former psychiatrist murdered him out of jealously then a few years later she goes to jail, Naomi dies from cancer so poor Emily is alone, Katie can’t have children which is quite sad because she wanted to have children of her own, Sid and Cassie aren’t together for some crazy reason other than maybe the actor who played Sid didn’t want to come back, and poor cook. I felt even more sad for him because he’s all alone in the world and on the run. We never know what happened s to JJ or Panda which sucked. So yeah this individual episodes for the character don’t exist. Sid and Cassie do find each other and Cook finds some happiness later in life

I haven't seen season 7 and have no intentions. If it isn't sid and cassie the show can F Off. Why couldn't the writers just base a whole season off them rekindling what they have in S1 and S2? Even if it was purely a drama noone would complain.
