One thing I know, is that DJ Angelo is a die hard Reloop dj. So, it has to be a VERY good reason why he supports Reloop. Any product that Reloop puts out, needs a serious look. And I'll tell you this... That Reloop ELITE mixer could be the Rane 72's worst nightmare...
djseasickbaby Angelo is the man. Criminally underrated DJ.
He's the one that help design it. He even explained how he and Reloop designed the whole mixer.

yes, you can use serato fx on real vinyls...but you must have always Elite connected to your pc or mac and serato opened. you can't use effects alone
Is there any way to change the resolution (range) of the TWEAK FX KNOB?
I mapped the "SAMPLE SLOT PITCH ADJUST" to it and would like to change the range to 16% or 50%.
I'm stuck with +/- 8% all the way to the left or right of the knob.

Is the pitch n time expansion for pitch play supposed to unlock automatically when the mixer is plugged in? The only way I see to currently get it is either a monthly subscription or $349. Can’t buy the plug in individually anymore.
This thing is rad. I’ve had it for about 4 months or so and I’m still learning new things about it. I do have one question though. When using the sample fx, will it add the fx to the sample only or the sample and the song playing? As of now, I’ve only been able to get it to affect both, the sample and the song and I have to stop the song or have a silent cue point set to keep things from getting real nasty.

Where can I get a more detailed tutorial? This tutorial assumes a lot of knowledge that I don't have. Is there any video or resource I can use to help me learn how to use my Reloop Elite? I've been DJ'ing for 36 years, so I understand all the mixer functions, and I've used Serato since it first came out, so I understand that, but I don't understand how to use my Elite at all, and I'm considering returning it and picking a different mixer because I can't find any resources/tutorials/help of any kind anywhere.

Re: the audio interface - is there a way to record each side of the cross fader to separate channels on Ableton Live like you can with the Pio S9? On Windows???

there are reports of brittle buttons, and are cracking or breaking. has reloop addressed this in newer models? This looks like a perfect mixer for me, that want high performance but dont want to pay to much, this out classes the S9 in my opinion, the 72 is to expensive and to much unnecessary features for me.

I'm having an issue where I cannot map my Tweak FX knob to anything - in custom mode or not. Everything else on the board can map...
Please make sure to update Serato DJ to the latest version (2.3.1) and check the 'allow remapping' box in the MIDI tab of the Serato preferences.
Can you do a longer tutorial on vinyl effects? Would be nice to see a little more of what this unit can do
I own this model. The FX are all done by software, apart from some built-in color ones with the tweak FX knob (filter, bitcrush, flanger and white noise). So, if you know the FX from Serato DJ Pro (or any other compatible DJ software you use with this mixer), you already know them. You can apply all of them to analog inputs.
Hi can some one help me when. I’m in the mix and I turn effect on and use delay it puts my mix out of time I’m using elite with latest Mac
This could be a latency issue. Please try to reduce the latency and see if this solves the issue.
This is probably a silly question but the independent pad mode is that only achieved with this setup or can it be done with another mixer using the RP8000mk2
That's only possible with the ELITE, no other mixer on the market offers this opportunity.

I need HELP. I just purchased my ELITE mixer and it's stuck in update mode. Both LOAD buttons and SHIFT button is flashing even when I turn it OFF/ON. I can't get it to come out of update.

How do I configure the pad modes independently?
independent pad modes means that you can assign the different pad modes per side/deck, e.g. deck1: hot cues - deck 2: loop roll. You can find the pad modes on your mixer and 2nd layer in grey directly under the pad modes. if you have further questions, please take a look at the manual, check our FAQ or request a support ticket on reloop.com
For some reason the midi mapping for the tweak fx knobs isn't working right now. I can turn on the midi map mode and click on the pitch area, but turning the knob does nothing. It is on custom mode btw

Make sure to use at least 2.2.3 or higher.
This is known Serato DJ issue which has been solved.

Hi...how to load same track on the other player so it starts synchronous?
You have to activate 'instant doubles' in Serato. If set the pitch to the same parameter and load the same track to the other deck, both tracks will play synchronous.
If you have the rp8000mk2 you can just double tap the encoder on the deck to load instant doubles
I don't know where to download the drivers for mac on your website...Because i'm un able to capture the audio for my OBS: Its does show up but does not make no sound..

This is a Serato mixer and we don't offer a Traktor mapping. Feel free to map it yourself.

czcams.com/video/mWyMhEvLqX8/video.html I am not able to map my Tweak FX knob to anything. I have the mode on green and midi enabled in Serato and turning the knob does not map it. I can map other controls on the Elite, just not the Tweak FX. Updated firmware on Reloop and MK2's. Any ideas?
Hi djkms, this seems to be an issue with the current Serato DJ Pro version 2.2. This hopefully will be addressed in the next coming up version. Keep an eye on this. The workaround would be to do the mapping in Serato DJ Pro 2.1.2 - which works fine - and then simply switch back to the latest version. Hope this works for you.
