This is a clear example of the wide variance in grading that can happen from the so called "reputable" graders. I think level of service paid does influence the grade sometimes.
You get more experienced graders at higher tiers vs lower tiers are prob almost all the newer hires. Maybe (just random thought) not wanting to grade to easy/correct and give higher grades and ends up making them grade harsher idk
I agree with both comments. I think they all supply decent service, however I believe the level of grading tier you pay for may influence the grade. I have heard about higher quality graders at higher tiers so I think if that's the case, it's worth the cost to me to get more thorough grading. Thanks for the comments! 😀
Buy the card not the grade, gradings a scam. Raw is the way.
said no one ever that makes money reselling slabs haha
Raw when you want to enjoy, graded when you want to sell.
Beckett in general is a bit harsher however they 100% do not have bias when it comes to expensive cards/charizards. They grade the card and that's that the value tier doesn't matter
CGC has always been harder on grading and is pretty widely known. They rarely give out 10s
All 3 of these companies are widely known…. But PSA and BGS hold the most value for resale and for collectors
@@Poolboy916TV I mean it's widely known that CGC grading is harder on grading than the others
@@epic7vet206 it’s funny the cheapest of the 3 is the harshest graders
I’m convinced that you have to be personal friends with people at the grading card service company to actually get a 10
How much did it cost you to get that graded from each of the grading services?
The point of card grading service is that you get an "unbiased" third-party to authenticate a card. It is just silly that it takes a long process and large sums of money to get a card reviewer to give the "correct" grade. This video is very informative.
What would be really odd……all the resubmitted cards come back the same grades….never happens…human nature….i don’t get the amount of puzzlement in getting cards back with different grades….
What level of membership do you hold with each company? Would be interesting to know.
Beckett does not require a member ship psa is 100 dollars to be able to send bulk submissions then cgc has 3 tiers the highest one being 300 dollars and you get 150 credit and 10% off the grading rates
I don't hold any membership. Just sent them in via the normal online submission. So, basic membership I believe for cgc. Whatever the lowest tier is for peasants like me lol 😆
@@VarietyErrors Would be interesting to see if companies with membership does it influence the grades 👀 (higher the membership better the grades?)
There is an easier way to get your cards back out of the holder. Doing it the way you're doing it makes me nervous to watch with an expensive card
Awesome video though! And I love that Charizard so clean
I'm surprised PSA didn't give it a 10 because they throe those around like nothing 🙃
From my experience in owning cards from these guys. Bgs seems the strictest and cgc close to next. Psa seems to be less strict and easier for getting a 10. Bgs I’ve seen has more value when you have 9s and 9.5s. Especially 10s
This guy truly broke the matrix
Hope you contacted them
thats why dont spend more than $10 to grade lols
Selling my coin
You should use side cutters.
I would agree. Lol
Try ags see what grade it gets
I have not used them before. I'll have to check them out. Thanks!
He should send this card off to AGS
I've never used their services. I'll have to look into that. Thanks!
Thi# is interesting to know. Got some cards from 1999-2001 that I’m going to grade! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Card Grading Is Absolutely A Scam.
not showing the corner break L
It’s a scam how can a mint+!card be a 8.5 out of 10… so stupid cards are paper man not green paper
AGS is the way to go now lol
Csg
Such a shame these guys have poisoned the hobby
Yeah
You've cracked the cases on that card several times, resubmitted to different graders causing additional possible damage with their equipment. Its inevitable you'll receive a lower grade.
Bruh he sent it to BGS and got a higher grade than CGC regrading
First
I’m a tad late to comment, however I would like to share a few things. Grading is not what we’ve been led to believe. I have firsthand knowledge regarding this farce. Pm if you’d like to hear my story.
