    What about using a high end pc with like i7 14 gen 64gb ddr5 good graphics card for decoding and optical network connection to an optical switch wihich is connected to many other switches via fibre cable and that switches have poe directly to cameras in a case of which there is a need for near real time live view and latency is critical for an industrial environment where every delay second counts and very low latency is needed and analog is not an option because of high possibility of interference

    Slightly confused. Does. This remove the need for door access controllers (DS-Kxxxx) or supports it? Seems to be targeting a different use case.

      @DVSLTD  Před 3 lety

      you still need the door controllers or terminals , this just gives a license to use it within HIK-Central VMS 😊

    Hello, I need solution from you my client has 500 cameras on multisites, i need to connect all cameras for monitoring purpose in one centeralise location. The problem is which software should we choose? ivms, hik-centeral pro or workstation? Please need your advise.

      this sounds a great installation to look after , I would choose the full hik central solution , this can bring all the separate NVRS / DVRS into a centralised location and controlled and managed centrally, it’s the perfect solution for this application

    I have a Raid-capable Hikvision NVR with four 10TB HDDs. Are there any more servers with intel Xeon required to deploy the Hikcentral Professional? or is a core i7-equipped workstation sufficient? Describes the manner in which Hik Central Professional can obtain recorded data from NVR. Total 3 camera only (2 agegroup classification camera + 1 2mp 50x optical PTZ camera)

      it really depends on the application , you can see the software requirement in this following document for server and client - pinfo.hikvision.com/hkwsen/unzip/20221201102717_78910_doc/HikCentral%20Professional_System%20Requirements%20and%20Performance_V2.3.1_20221130.pdf

    Hello, I need solution from you for my office. My office is going to plan for Urban Roadways, now we have planned to install 78 cameras in different location connecting through same fiber network, in near future we will be adding more cameras as per our requirements in same fiber network. i need to connect all pro series cameras (PTZ, 4 ANPR, Bullet) in one centralize location and monitor from to different place with in same fiber network. i planned to buy on powerful server (HP or DELL) having more then 200 TB storage within to run all office software and hikcentral professional server. My question: Is it possible to connect all cameras in hikcentral professional without NVR?

    So this can scan for license plates without using a special ANPR camera?

    Question! 🙂
    I've got older cameras installed which can detect faces (yes or no) but no recognition.
    (Hikvision DS-2DE4A220IW-DE2)
    Is it possible to use the face recognition feature with the Hikcentral Pro Software? Or do I need to buy
    one of these Darkfighter cameras or any cameras which has the face recognition feature built-in?
    Thanks ! :-)

    • @DVSLTD
      @DVSLTD  Před 2 lety +1

      the software itself doesn’t have the capability to do this face recognition , you will need compatible hardware 😊

      @@DVSLTD Cool! (or uncool… ) 😬 So which hardware will work? Do you have a recommendation maybe? I already have these older DS-2DE dome cameras… is there also a DVR available that would enable face recognition? (then I don’t need to replace all cameras) And… what happens when a specific face is detected? Can I only switch relais-outputs? Or is there any other, digital protocol, like http-post or MQTT or whatever?

    Any recommendations for what minimum CPU to use in a laptop when programming the NVR, my CPU struggles to display a 2x2 mainstream. Do I need a descrete GPU or a high end CPU?

      for HIK-Central client or the IVMS-4200? NVR ? if for NVR , we use i5 with dedicated graphics now , we find this the best method 😊

    Hi, I really appreciate all your technical reviews all of them really helpful. From your review I came to know about VOSKER brand and implemented in my site and it's very helpful. Can you please advice the suitable HIKVISION software to integrate, manage, monitor, operate a multiple (10 HIKVISION NVRs) under one platform. How HIKCENTRAL will help us?

    • @DVSLTD
      @DVSLTD  Před 3 lety

      thank you so much for the kind words, actually the HIK-Central workstation offers a good solution if the total camera count is below 32ch or 64ch depends on the build, if its over this then you can use the full HIK-Central , it will allow you to have a centralised system with full access to the end devices, health monitoring , alarm centre, export etc, reports and then build on this with modules if needed, HIK-Central also provides a mobile app so it can all be controlled and managed from a central deployment 😊

      the best method is to use RMA with your supplier, to recover the device you need to use a serial cable onto the device and secure CRT software
