    If there is one thing I’ve struggled with regarding hikvision is which is the best nvr. My original a few years back was the 7600. I upgraded to the k series with plans on using 8mp cameras. They all work on it but clearly the k series is underpowered for the better software upgrades. The new 4.0 software was introduced for it but its an absolute disaster to work with. I reverted back to the last software update of the 3. 112 I think it is.
    I’ve seen new updates for the 4.0 software so maybe it’s been improved.
    I like to buy nvr with future proofing for the improved features but both times I’ve failed miserably 😂

      the best NVR is the I series to be honest if you want a good one , or the IDS models 😊

    Thanks for this video!
    I've learned a lot about security cameras from your videos.
    By the way, do you have a link to the NVR in this video?
    Thanks!

    Hi, thanks for the video. The app isn‘t available in Luxembourg.
    Got another question: is it possible to have kind of a relay triggered when a person or car is detected. I don‘t want to have a screen in my living room, but when in the evening someone triggers the acusense, a light in the living room should switch from white to red. Therefore I need to „export“ the alarm signal. The easiest way would be through a relay.

      Hi yes you can set the VCA event to trigger the output on the NVR and then trigger the light as needed 😊

    Hi mate,
    Quick question.
    Would you know of a possible way to integrate an inner range inception access system to hik vision DA-Kd3003-E6??
    Let me know if you can assist.
    Thanks

    Do you know when the NXI series will support video playback in Chrome? IE is being deprecated within 9 months and is still the only way to play video.

    good video on the setup - just created it on one of my stock units - amazing never new that feature was there. Do you know a way to have the key on/off but when you disable notifications it keeps the alarm running -strobe/siren (multiple people having the app)

    • @Corkhead75
      @Corkhead75 Před 3 lety

      well another update - seems the i series NVR and acusense NVR are a bit different. Push notifications with multiple people on the newer I series only allow the master to silence/turn on and off. I have a client - 8 cameras large workshop in a rural area. Would love to implement the on/off key solution and then at night be able to just silence the notifications if required but still have the alarm/sirens/strobes running. There are still false alarms with small animals - the intrusion AI still is not perfect but bloody good still. Reason is if one staff member is monitoring at a time and the others can silence. Any ideas from the gurus

    • @DVSLTD
      @DVSLTD  Před 3 lety

      That’s great , you mean when disarmed keep the light and strobe going ? from the one key disarm function on alarm input then yes by not selecting the Audio and sound option under linkage , if they do it via the App side not currently but will look at it

    • @romankysely
      @romankysely Před 3 lety

      @@DVSLTD I agree when you switch off on app the "bell" so it switch off light, sound and alarm output too!! I suppose it is glitch. If I do not want to be disturb by push notification I want to have running light, sound, alarma OUT continously until arming (via OneKey Disarming func) is on.

    Hello Dave, thx for video, usefull. Have you try 2way audio to IPCAM via NVR? The voice is really unacteptable bad. It works only via Hik-connect direct to IPCAM. Thx for reply of your experience. (7716-I4(B) latest FW 4.40.017)

      @DVSLTD  Před 3 lety
