- In this video #DAITECH takes a look the brand new 7 Line ANPR Bullet camera, DS-2CD7A26G0/P-IZS
This DeepInView ANPR camera really enhances the read rate and reliability whilst storing 10,000 plates locally with whitelist & blacklist function and expiry date on plates. This solution also has 2 alarm outputs, 2.8-12mm/ 8-32mm lens variation for up to 35mtrs read distance, the ability to show mixed traffic violations and is IP67 & IK10.
It’s a really nice bit of kit with it being pre-set to work out of the box. It will make your life very easy, take a look and let us know if you have any questions.

I will like to confirm is the Hikvision IVMS or HikCentral can be configures to automatically generate recognized license plate report for a given period and send it to an defined email without human interaction.
I intend the report for LPR generation and sending to be automatic and seamless.

How do have Blacklist vehicle notify you in real time on the screen ????
Hi , on the NVR please go to configuration and then vehicle detection , then under list drop to the Blacklist , then under linkage action tick “notify surveillance centre” , “ audible warning” and “full screen monitoring” then any plate uploaded that has been tagged as black list will do the local notify
Great and very useful video, but on white / blacklist, when I click on the browse button next to import nothing happens. Can you advise.

Hi, i need to get the last plate the camera got to use in a web interface site for my company. Im trying to do it with no success. Is there a way for me to do it?
I do not have any memory on the camera,do i need one? No SD CARD,no NVR,anything. I don't know if the camera has a internal memory or don't.
if you use the SD card in the camera it will be able to save plate info there , but this wont output to the web format automatically , the best way to achieve this is to use the ISAPI protocol which is a simple process in reality for a web developer , you will need to speak with your supplier or HIK rep where they can register you for the integration support and release the documentation around how this is achieved 😊

Have you ever done a tutorial that looks at how to setup up a Hikvision iDS 7 Line ANPR camera for multiple lanes properly? I have several installed, and all but one site is working great. The camera at that site simply refuses to pick up plates, and I'm tearing my hair out! I have even replaced it with another brand new camera.
These are all on the open road, at a fair distance from the road.
actually the IDS-7 line is not released in the UK market right now but it will be soon , so I have to get one and review it 😊

Hi i was just wondering we have the exact camera version 7 not the 4 everything working ok but the focus still changes unexpectedly at any day or time in semi auto mode we only know when its out of focus until the customer complains ( not working again ) to resolve this we reboot the camera or until now been told to go directly to the camera and press Lens Initialization button which also works i did notice you put yours onto semi auto which we have done and still having the same problem with the camera giving blurry vision and not recognising the plates entering a gated community can you please explain how the manual mode works as it has that feature also ? so the lens inside the camera doesn't move at all any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks for the comment, when you put the mode to manual it will stay in the position you manual set using the zoom and focus control , so you can use this mode and I have in the past , and to get this accurate I wait until dark and generally park a car with headlights on in the view , and then focus on that, you will find it should work very well then , please give this a go and let me know if you want any more opinion 😊
Looks like a nice camera. Would have been nice to see the performance at night with a car coming in with their headlights on
Hi mpcp27 , there are examples of this already on our channel , it performs well as we set the exposure level to 1/1000 to combat the head light issue

Either I missed it or you completely skipped over the SD card portion of the camera. Do you know what size card is recommended? Do you know what the biggest card that can be used is?
it’s in there , the biggest currently is 256GB and allows images from capture to be saved onto the SD card

what firmware version are you using because mine doesn't have the real time capture option
its on all firmware on the older 4 line and 7 line models , are you using IE to see the web page?
All my ANPR history, plates, time stamps and photo snapshots are being deleted after 9 days. I don't mind general footage being deleted for overwriting but how can I get ANPR data itself to be saved for longer? Had the police in today a MONTH after a neighbour got ram raided but I couldn't help them for this reason, all the ANPR data was gone.
where is it being recorded , just to a normal NVR ?

@@univ01883 there are a few things you can do , you can increase the HDD size which would give you the additional storage , or you can go into the storage options on the NVR and change the quote side to have more space for the ANPR side but that might get messy to be honest, but an option ,

I live in the USA and I have a security camera system that use nvr to record and power the camera. Does these lpr camera use a nvr or do all you need is just the camera to run itself?
Hi john, you can use the camera stand-alone or add to the NVR , the setup is done at the camera web interface and can be totally stand-alone if Required

We installed four of the DeepinView ANPR cameras which are connected to a DS-7700 series NVR. Is there anyway to export a list of number plates that has been captured during a specified time? Export to excel.
Hi Jaco, that is great and yes on the local GUI the option to export the images , video and excel list is there under vehicle plate search , can only be done on the local GUI

@@maoxreloaded Hi , motorcycle capture algorithm does work better when used in City / street mode , when used in Entrance / exit mode the algorithm might not give the best results , but should still capture
@@DVSLTD Excellent, what is the difference in between these two types of detection, I have two clients where I installed these cameras and frankly between the guide that provides hikvision on how to do the installation is not very clear with respect to all the options that the camera has , the user manual is based on an old firmware and there is no website where you can at least know if there is any news regarding the firmware of this camera, it is leaving much to be desired. I have followed all the recommendations that hikvision says that for a successful detection but I barely manage to reach 60% of acertivity in the detections; Is there a way in which you can give me technical support, training (assuming the cost that I may have) so as not to continue working blindly with this anpr solution?

Is there a way to get the camera to scan for number plates periodically. I want to know if a number plate is still there.
Hi , it will register each one that passes and compare to the list if needed , it wont keep checking for the same plate parked up if that makes sense, ?

@@PhilFoyBoy Hi Phillip , if you use the alarm input then it reads the plate that triggers it , like a ground loop or beam etc ,
Pretty cool stuff.. interested to use this or similar item to log trucks coming and going into a factory.. is this device capable of working without an nvr, and is the log capable of viewing only from web interface of camera or can it be generated to a spreadsheet.. thanks..
Hi , thanks for the feedback , you can use it standalone with an SD card inserted to hold the data rather than NVR if preferred , you can download the Excel document from the camera to input the plates as needed in white list or blacklist , then upload it again, you can also download the capture data via excel also which is really cool 😊
Dai, will this ANPR camera keep a list of all plate numbers it reads? On the NVR or on the SD card? I would like to be able to download all the captured plate numbers.
Hi , if used with NVR it will be sent to the NVR for search function , if you use the SD card in camera it can also be used as the search mechanism 😊

Hi DVSLTD I need to add a set of number plates that are not included in the iDS-TCM403. Can you add plates so the engine can detect them?
Great Video. Was flying through setup until I got to the whitelist export and import (thought this was going to be the easy bit) Had a problem exporting... and sorted that through IE settings. Now when I enter the REG details into the excel file just clicking the save button so not to amend the file format. Close the file then, then go to browse select the file click import, it goes to load then says incorrect file format in red. The file is .xls literally ran out of ideas and security settings to disable. Ever come across this?
Got it resolved if this helps anyone. You must enter an expiry date for the plate number do not leave it blank, even if you don't require it to expire. I put a 30 year expiry date on it , car should be scrap by then.
Hi , yes, basically when enter the plate number , use capitals and no space to start IE ABCD1234 , then to make sure the format is correct , please right click on the cell at the top where the A is , then select “format Cell” , there make sure the category is selected as Text , and does this for all the cells on the Top row , and then input the plates and save , you can do it the with all plates in already just highlight the whole coloum down and right click in A and do it , and repeat to cells B,C,D like below , this should resolve.

Hi john, it can be used as stand-alone device or with an NVR , the alarms of the ANPR don’t go through to the Phone via HIK-Connect but it can be setup and used without the NVR if Required

Hi seal, it was contained inside the video , but essentially set the mounting option to “road” , then set the exposure from 1/25 to 1/1000 and save, then set the gain to 20 and save, set day night from auto to “triggered by video “ and sensitivity I use 7 , then save , you can turn the IR up to the max if Required by using manual mode and adjust the IR intensity , then save, I also change the IRIS from auto to manual and then save, try that 😊

We support the live sign inside our IVMS-5200 Parking solution , and a new one inside HIK-Central , there will be more parts required but the sign DS-TVL224-4-5Y is a good place to start

you can use the camera standalone with the SD card, or the I series NVR , or our software , the camera is able to used stand-alone and many choose to use this method 😊

What is the difference between a PTZ and Motorized Varifocal camera other than the Pan and Tilt function?

Hi , yes on VSplayer or our NVR we have the Digital Zoom function to enable a better zoom on the area of interest , the higher the resolution the better the digital zoom will be , also the PTZ as you said has the pan and tilt and much longer zoom , and can be set to do pre-set tours, patrols , alarm activations and smart tracking, the motorised zoom camera is set when installing but not rated for continuous use
Pan, til, zoom , 360` of movement. Varifocal onlo move in zoom varying de focal leng ej.2mm - 12mm

Yes it can be used standalone , please use a SD card in the camera to capture the plate reads, and you can import the whitelist / black list into the camera direct 😊

Technically yes via the correct NVR but not recommended , when we use ANPR setup the image parameters are not ideal for VCA functions

btw yes my model exactly is 2CD4A26FWD-LZS/P (8-32mm) and the current firmware on the camera is 5.4.7 build 180309 which is final.

VERSION 4 AND VESION 7 DEFINITELY BUY VESION 7 ALPR THE 4 IS CRAP STAY WAY CLEAR OF IT HAD IT SWAPPED OUT FOR FREE OF CHARGE BECAUSE HICKVISION SPECIFICATIONS ARE MISS LEADING ON DISTANCE READINGS ONLY GETTING 50% ACCURATE AS WELL AS PERSONAL LICENSE PLATES IS A REAL PROBLEM IN VERSION 4 SPEND THE EXTRA IF FOR A GATED COMMUNITY

This is dedicated ANPR camera, it has VCA function but this isn’t pushed as the image parameters for ANPR are set specifically and not recommended for VCA function , we do a other products that support that function
