Hey Chloe, check out a vid on how to properly weave MOLLE accessories. Proper weave will make for a much more secure attachment of the accessory to the MOLLE panel ✌🏼

I would rotate that fire extinguisher 180° so you can (maybe) pull it straight out if you jump in the bed and grab it. It will also point the nozzle down to limit the dust& dirt that gets inside. Otherwise great setup!!

With the hose clamps, see if you can get the fire extinguisher off in under 30 seconds while having a friend yell at you to simulate stress (add in a 100 meter spring to get your heart rate up). Any tools that are needed should be kept wherever you normally have them. Honestly though, good on you for even having a fire extinguisher. Thanks for the videos too. Having personally broken crap trying to get to gear in an emergency and having been military, firefighter, and ER nurse, I truly believe expecting to rise to the occasion is foolish as time and again I and everyone around me sinks to the level of their training when things go bad. Simplicity of function reduces the amount of cognitive bandwidth needed to perform a task (and the amount of training needed). Well designed emergency gear relies on large muscle movements because fine motor control often goes out the window under stress (like using a screwdriver).

I think you could add a small stack of washers behind the pannel to shim the pannel out enough to add or remove straps without needing to loosen those bolts each time.
There are actuall fire extinguishers fast release clamps… the set up with those is kinda useless. Even though I am assuming you do t have them anymore because of you current bed setup. Cool vid, i might actually get those panels. So far I got the same dash cam with the adapter as you and some other stuff. One of the best Taco channel.

I like this molle panel, but am not sure if it will work for my use case. I will have a cap on my Tacoma that fastens to the bed rail. I think this may make it so that it will not work to loosen the bed rail in order to attach things to the molle panel. My question is if it is ;possible to fasten things to the molle panel when the screws on the bed rail are tightened down. Thanks -
I've been looking at og fabs molle panel for the inside of my tacoma it hangs above the backseat and replaces your hand holds back there. I only ever have my dog in the backseat so I don't really need those. I've been wanting to get some molle panels for the bed too and have been looking at a few but first I need to fully seal up my bed for my cover. I haven't filled in the two small openings on the front of the bed so a little bit of water leaks in past my cover. Other then that it looks good on there I like that it sits behind the rail so even with the diamondback cover I've got I don't have to worry about mounting points with that one and my cover being in the way of those.
The only drawback is over time off-road that’s going to start flexing back and forth with anything on it. That’s why most are metal and mount on the bottom also.
I like your shirt... Google "quick release hose clamp" ... maybe you can find something that would work for qik access to fire extinguisher. Another great mod tip.

Check out “Quick fist” products for molle storage. There’s on that will be great for fire extinguisher. I plan on installing with these once my og panel arrives.

You should also use one rated for vehilces that dont spray white powder everywhere. it saves the vehicle from a messy cleanup afterwards. H3R performance makes them.

a quick and easy video you can make is installing some bed stiffeners. from the progression of your videos, it looks like you'll need them soon.
