#SNL #JasonSudeikis - Komedie
That cast with Sudeikis, Hader, Samberg, Wiig, Armisen, Meyers, Forte, etc. will always hold a special place in my heart. They made me laugh every week
SAME!!! ❤
They still make me laugh thanks to all the sketches being on CZcams ❤️
My favorite years
yess and mulaney as a writer
Yes!!!
"Cynicism is a currency we spend here but it doesn't have a good exchange rate" is an exceptionally good line. How does that just come out of someone so casually? Legend.
Bc he’s brilliant, but also humble. Reminds me a lot of Bill Hader who just seems to say some of the best, insightful stuff but not realize how awesome he is?
He's quick and witty. A cunning linguist one might say.
New to comedy?
Not the first time that's been said.
@@skankhunt-wy9wy New to being a decent person?
What does that mean? I take it as its OK to be cynical here, but if you go elsewhere, no one wants that negativity. What do you guys think?
So he tried to write himself a goodbye sketch in his last episode, and they CUT IT?? Coooold.
They might not’ve known.
He seems like a very “please don’t make this about me” type of personality….
Fuck that sucks! I want to see it
They have it on CZcams. I suspect no one knew.
@@brunettekoala know the name of it?
I tried to find it….

His goodbye sketch
i didn't expect to get quite so emotional, but this dude deserves the world.
He's white Damm near already got it 😅
I like him a lot. didn't know his uncle was George Wendt. That is quite a head start in the world.
Aarohi Gupta - I know. I was like "why am i crying?" Then i read your comment. Hit me in the feels too.
I got much more emotional than I thought I would too. I completely agree with you though he deserves everything good to come his way
the music really did me in
I love that everyone has a Lorne impression
They've been around him a lot and most are good at mimicking voices.
I feel like we need a supercut of every Lorne impression on tape.
@@jandlovec1181 Yes. On tape.
Best ones? Dana Carvey (Mike Myers used Dana's impression of Lorne for Dr. Evil) and Bill Hader (Lorne and the serial killers).
@@samanthamaynard4447 lorne and the serial killers sounds like a band name
Jason has got the be one of, if not, THE most underrated SNL cast member. The dude was able to play the "normal" unassuming guy, whos job is to make everyone around him seem wild and funny. Or he can play the off the rail characters that steal the stage. Not to mention his killer "what's up with that" dance moves 😂😊
Yeah let’s just forget about Keenan you’re right 🙄
@@DICKFARTZZ kennan has basically played the same character since All That and Kennan and Kel.
one of the best straight men of all time
Oh man, I forgot about him dancing in the "What's Up With That?" Lol so damn funny.
Has character as a judge from Maine Justice is just so insanely good and funny 😂 that and Stefon are the best ones imo
I miss his years in SNL, the guy is criminally funny with his wit and delivery.
I miss when we were rude in the comments section. You had a nice comment. Even though I think you're the devil because Jesus.
I would say you should find Jesus, but you're the devil. So sorry. I can't help you there.
Agreed. He is excellent at his craft
Funny guy...but not many iconic moments or characters. All the other greats had that.
STAYFREE MAXI PADS
He was my improv teacher back in 2001/2002 and I eventually got to be on the main stage with him at SC and we all knew he was a special talent. He was like a new baby - you couldn't keep your eyes off of him waiting for the next amazing thing he'd do. Cheers coach! Love always, Fade.
Jason's monologue a few weeks ago, the one they show at the end of this video, made me tear up. You can hear the emotion in his voice. Jason is a helluva guy and a stand up dude.
I did, also, when I watched it a few weeks ago.
I just realized Jason is not only a good comedian, but a good person as well.
That's just Ted Lasso being Jason Sudeikis.
OK, but like is a 10 minute youtube video enough to declare that he's a good person? I do agree that he probably is a good person, but he's also a professional actor and none of us normies who watch youtube clips like this really have any idea what celebrities are truly like.
I now realize that I'm being super pedantic and negative for no real reason, but I guess comments like this are a weird pet peeve of mine. So, I do apologize if I'm actually just being a troll and don't realize it
@@ThePumpkinToad I think what most comments on CZcams leave out is "in my opinion", but I thought that is understood by now
@@peace4myheart It is... But the combination of my glass of whiskey and the anonymity afforded to me by the internet has made me not care about nitpicking a stranger's perfectly valid opinion. I mean no malice, and I've never actually left a comment like this, but comments from people saying how great and amazing someone is based on a youtube video has started to rub me the wrong way. I personally consider myself a healthy skeptic rather than a negative douche (Which, I wouldn't blame someone for thinking right now) but I've already dug my hole so now I'm going with it... I think there are people who should realize that the people we see on TV are typically just showing us the side of themselves that they want us to see and its easy for us, as humans, to project the person we want them to be onto them. I certainly don't mean to compare Jason Sudeikis to Bill Cosby, But just think about all the youtube comments that people left about Cosby ten years ago
@@ThePumpkinToad You can say that to people in real life as well. You really don't know a person until you actually live with them, or when they are under the influence of drug and alcohol. People usually present their best self in public. Even couples don't truly know each other until they live with each other. Philosophy speaking, no one truly know themselves until the moment arises. So you are not wrong. Always be a skeptic when it comes to human because they are one unpredictable animal. As such, never meet your hero in real life. They won't match up to your expectation. But that is such a pessimistic, albeit realistic, view. An optimist would think everyone is great unless otherwise. So can we fault those that want to believe the best in humanity, even though that is just wishful thinking.
He wasn't wrong about being part of one of the greatest teams on SNL. For me, they WERE the best.
are you old enough to remember dana carvey, chris farley, david spade, mike myers, adam sandler and that cast? those were some very good years as well
Why did it take so long for people to realize Sudekis is a national treasure? Seriously, this guy is such a good human.
Never knew George (Norm!) was his uncle. So cool.
The "What's up with that" dancing Jason did was awesome!!!!
“You always want to hit him after dinner… cause people have drinks at dinner.” 😂😂😂
His dancing in "Whats up with that?", "scared straight" and so many other things, is unforgettable.
Sending love, for all the laughs.
Imposter syndrome is a hell of a thing. I had someone come in to a show I was at last weekend. She said, "I bought these handmade glow-in-the-dark earrings from you last summer," and I was waiting for her to say they had broken, or they had turned her ears green and she wanted a new pair. What she actually said was, "These are my favorite earrings, and I want to buy another pair." I kept waiting for her to say, "But..." and it didn't happen. That's imposter syndrome. Knowing Jason Sudeikis had imposter syndrome helps those of us who still struggle with it daily.
I feel like it'd be hard to *not* have imposter syndrome when you're under Tina Fey and have so many talented people around you. Some casts had weak writing, some didn't work well together. Jason stepped into a whirlwind and came out a storm on his own.
I didn’t even realise he was a writer!! He’s honestly my favourite actor on SNL, just pure class, EVERYTHING he does.
A total pro.
Never tired of his dancing or his walking off the stage in "What's Up With That?" Absolute hilarity.
100% one of THE BEST SNL casts of all time. Absolutely insane talent from each of them - the bond and community could be seen constantly
I love how literally *everyone* does the same little voice when imitating Lorne 😂
He's one charming SOB.
Jason Sudeikis shows that Saturday Night Live just keeps evolving itself and its people, such a legendary place! & Jason is sooooo much more than that dance, thanks to the 10 year evolution we were so lucky to witness~
I loved it. Stories from the Show: An SNL Series. Wonderful.
The birth of his "What up with that?" character!
Having watched SNL for 3 decades…I did choke up during his monologue. I’m glad he has that outlook on the show and what it means to the world.
I shed a tear too. He was so spot on.
It's crazy that he started as a writer, when he went on to become one of the most versatile actors on SNL
Getting to hear all the stories that make SNL what it is only makes me love it more. Love Jason Sudeikis and love this video!
Talk about perseverance ! He was great
Sedakis was Norm from Cheer's nephew? That's an Interesting little tid bit of info.
I had no idea!!!!!
I'm in fucking astronomy class about to cry. The cast he was in is my all time favorite cast. Seeing all the old pictures of them and Jason's audition is really hitting hard right now.
You suddenly notice your prof is standing behind you, looking over your shoulder. Quick! What do you say?
“I’m watching a short documentary of my favorite star.”
I loved him dancing in the "What up with That?" sketches. Pure joy.
This is beautiful (chef's kiss)
Why does this make me so emotional
sudoku is one of my all time favorite cast members.
he was SO underrated as a cast member i’m elated that he’s finally getting the spotlight with ted lasso
I love Jason Sudeikis… he’s the best. 😍😍😍
The way he looked at Kristen after they danced on her last episode, ohhhhh my heart. She breaks.
…I adore this man.
Jason is so funny and humble and freaking hilarious and amazing in the 'whatup with that' sketch😂
Love you, J Suds!
That was waaaaay more wholesome than I expected
It’s good to know that even exceptionally talented folks also suffer from imposter syndrome. Everyone’s battling their own insecurities so be kind to yourself and keep striving, my Friends! 🤗
Loved him on SNL and love him now on Ted Lasso, such a great guy.
Love you, Jason. 👏💖
I adore Sudeikis! What a humble talent... And the dancing on "What's Up With That?!" Was always my favorite part!
He's definitely the star in "What's Up With That?!" 🤣😍
the editor who found those clips and photos should be given a damn raise.
I love Jason Sudeikis, SNL has greatly impacted my life as a person and gave me a place of belonging. Jason and that era of SNL will always make my heart happy. He is such a well spoken guy and his affability is what makes him a great writer and cast member for the show. Plus he's from my hometown so I will always wish him the best.
This was one of the best SNL Stories I've watched. Started getting teary there for a moment. Had no idea George Wendt (Norm!) is his uncle! Jason Sudeikis has slowly grown on me over time and have become more of a fan of his work. Now hearing a little of his upbringing, his great personality and chemistry as the cheeky teacher with Ego makes sense. Not to mention "What's Up With That" moves. 😋 Love these posts! 💙🖤✨
One of my all-time favorite cast members. He beautifully blends goofy with intelligence, and there's no hint of mean in him. He's just darn funny.
Love you, Jason!
I just adore him!
He's so good in front of the camera. Sad we didn't get more of him on SNL.
he’s so sweet
Sudeikis- so talented and humble. The Strip club DJ sketch is gold.
Jason’s genuineness always shines through🙌🙌🙌
Love this guy. I just watched We’re The Millers for the first time yesterday and laughed harder than I have in a long time.
I get goosebumps and emotional every time I hear him talk about how the show changed his life!
It's real. I work on the show. You'll never see me. But the fact that I'm a part of something with such a legacy is pretty indescribable. It's changed my life as well
@@AB-nb2ic That’s awesome that you can confirm the same thing! Honestly, I’m obsessed with the show and all things SNL (as I’m sure you are too). You must feel so fortunate to be part of something so special! I could only dream of being part of something so great (insert insane jealousy here) !!!
Thanks for the memories, Jason. You dancing in the "What's Up with That?" skits is forever seared into my brain.
Love him! He’s so cool… And a cutie 🥰
jason sudeikis is perfect
He lived the dream and is still so genuine and humble.
I legit love him so much
Mr. Sudeikis thank you for your years of excellence of laughter and pure joy, both on and off the show.
When you hosted, it wasn't my first time watching SNL that night.
It still changed my life.
His Lorne impression is spot on. Back in 2001, Lorne's son was in my 2nd grade classroom at his private boys school in NYC, so I've met him.
Aw, that's cool Ween.
his look at Wiig is so real
He’s an excellent storyteller
I remember the what's up with that sketches and being like wtf that guy is dancing his ass off xD
In my opinion it's the finest class of snl cast members in the entire history of the show. A very close nod over the late 90's group lead by Ferrell.
Love Sudekis. He is one of my favorites, he comes across very genuine + hilarious, which is rare, and you can't beat those hella good pop-culture references and shoe game.
Looking forward to Jason hosting many more times.
Jason is one of my favorite cast members. One of the best mad I’m glad he finally got to host after leaving many years ago
Jason is one of the greatest. SNL legend.
I really love Jason. He was and still is one of the best!
This really shows how Sudeikis really is! So warm at heart - and innocent! I really love him as Coach Lasso, and it doesn't surprise me he's just as amazing in his own ways.
He’s a sweetheart 😊
He is such a gifted performer.
I remember watching the cast of 2010-2011. Man, those guys made you laugh, even on the bad nights. They got me through middle school.
Sidekicks is such an unsung hero of the show. Constantly hilarious and consistent and energetic.
Great interview. Hope he hosts again. I really missed him when he left. He was funny along with Fred and Bill Hader.
i have to say the wiig/sudeikis pairing made me laugh in almost every sketch they did together, they had such good chemistry but they’re so underrated
god, i love this cast/era of snl so much. ;__;
Jason's era of SNL will always be one of my favorites. I loved the small intimate cast where you felt like you were seeing your friends on TV every week. It seems like the show tried making up for the big 2012 and 2013 departures by just adding more and more cast members and I have a hard time connecting to them the way that I used to. It used to be that the main cast members had to be in almost every sketch just to fill the stage and now it's unusual to see the same person onscreen more than twice.
This is amazing. I love hearing about Jason's SNL journey in his own words. I love everything he's done and his TED LASSO success is well deserved. Also how adorable did he look in the beginning (6:50)?
What a great storyteller. Sudeikis did a great job hosting and was a great cast member
I'm loving all the online content SNL has been creating. This and all the behind the scenes/making of like the art department, writing, camera crew, etc. Incredible and inspiring!
I love him !!! Finally
Great stuff. Wonderful interview with Jason Sudeikis.
I’ve been a fan for ages. He deserves the best🥰
As a long long long time viewer...I've loved the show and at times hated the show...But the hard work that these people go through. I really love hearing these stories.
Great series. I hope they continue it for a while. it's so funny seeing how young some of the writers were; Colin Jost, Hader, etc.
The show that Jason hosted was literally one of the best I’ve ever watched!! I laughed out loud at every single skit, which is something that has never happened to me before. He is a comedic genius!! The version of the Science Teacher on CZcams is far better than the version shown on Hulu.
Anyone else notice that while Jason made it pretty clear he wasn't really a fan of the show before he was on it, during his hosting monologue at the end he tells the audience that SNL changed his life when he watched it as a kid? I love the guy, but I thought that was kinda funny. 😆
Jason is a favorite of mine on the Show. It’s crazy he never felt like he belonged.
I've always loved Sudeikis and think he's one of the most under-appreciated cast members. His characters (usually) fall into the low-key straight man category, but he's so incredibly brilliant at it. And it makes when he does go off the rails that much funnier. Maine Justice and specifically the "HEYYY!!!!" from the new girlfriend with Armisten are my favorites off the top of my head. But really just a funny, versatile actor and writer. Hope he hosts again sometime, and I love seeing BTS stuff like this.
And of course the jump in, dancing, and strut out of What's Up With That.
So so happy for Jason and team for the success of Ted Lasso. Such an amazing show 💕
Literally the only reason I pay for Apple +. One of my all time favorite actors.
@@chillones9574 Same love him and Ted lasso is comfort tv.
I’m emotional after seeing this.
Beautiful story Jason!
i love him so much
Higgins and Tina fey right there... and so many more that usually are not on the screen , shaping comedy for a whole generation 👍🏻👍🏻
wholesome
One of the legends, still seems very humble.
he's my fav ever omg
