Imagine on a whim just sending stuff to Adam Sandler.
my uncle played pick-up basketball with Adam Sandler. they chatted and played until my uncle asked about one of his movies. then they didn't talk cuz things got awkward.
A girl can dream 💕
I will soon be the fattest person in the World 😁because of this virus and I will go to Guinness and come to this show with my story😊😁✌
I used to do that all the time before the restraining order.
@cyrannodb 😂
This is one of the greatest examples of “The show must go on”.
There it is.
Absolutely!
So true
Love this comment.
Huge props to the cast for being able to pull off what they did from home.
Especially Chloe. She did amazing work
Absolutely!
@Vytautas Borisas humor is subjective. No need for the negativity friend :)

And it turns out it's better than usual
Mikey’s son should just be a regular on the show from this point.
I agree. Add in Kenan's girls and we'd be set.
Even when they go back to filming normal in-studio episodes again?
Yeah, so should Pete’s mom.
@@andrewkatz5689 oh yes!!
But do the performing kids get union scale?
Starting this off with Pete's laugh was needed.
Bowen Yang: "I heard my neighbor say, "Los Angeles is in California." Like they didn't get I was shooting a sketch."
The neighbors likely thought the cast had really lost it in quarantine.
At least I'm not the only one with paper walls and loud neighbors. LOL.
r/wooosh to the neighbors
@@melvina628 I was screaming, "Why are walls so thin?!?!"
Am I wrong in thinking that would have been funny if that had made it in the sketch?
Pete’s stuck in the house song with Sandler low key slapped tho 😂
The fact that Mikey wrote a thank you note to his son for doing that sketch with him is so sweet and wholesome omg
"corny ass dad" kills me everytime🤣😂
B I T C H! 🤣
jokes aside though, quarantine Pete is like 5 times better than ordinary Pete. I’ve finally felt like he showed his skills properly
Grzegorz Cichosz this is the truth. He absolutely blossomed.
He looks amazing and at peace
For real! I've never hated him the way some people did, but he gave us some peak content for the At Home episodes.
This is a horrible disaster,
And they literally didn’t do anything to stop it
, 100% truly litteraly
There is no recovering,
We don’t have anything anymore,
It’s all gone,
Everything we’ve ever had.
same. there’s a certain appeal to him
They had to explain that "Dreams" sketch cause people were analyzing it like it was their Master Thesis.
Or it's classic mis-direction! 🤔
@@EricaGamet I think the Cecily theories were very interesting
Kenan Thompson restores my faith in humanity. Thank you, Kenan.
Keenan is 100% the heart and soul of that show
And one can finally see how handsome he is, without those silly faces and crazy hairpieces.
You insulting my girl Kate 🤣
@@MRG09100 right... He looks much thinner irl than in SNL sketches & with calmer voice.. Plus his eyes come to expression
*kenan
LOS ANGELES IS INN CALIFORNIA lmao i love that his neighbours mentioned that instead of complaining
It's truly wholesome to see both Mikey and Kenan interact with their kids in the sketches
Shout out to the cast and crew for staying tight and sending love even in the darkest times.
"Is it cool as Roblox?" Mikey seems like such a cool, loving dad. I feel like he enjoyed being able to share this experience with his son the most.
Your supposed to make me laugh, not cry, Dammit
After such a toxic week which has left me broken, Keenan's words at the end gives me hope, yeah, there has been so much good from this, let's heal.
I wish they would release those at-home table reads, they sound like they were fun.
This had me tearing up! 😭 Honestly, my late shows and SNL on CZcams were what kept me from sinking into depression! It was somewhat comforting seeing them stuck at home as well (though, being rich, certainly not suffering as much as me 😅)
Maybe it's just me, but each skit lifted my spirits! I hope they know how much they helped the anxious nuts like me 🥰
Every part of your commentary was as if you snatched it from my own brain!! Even though the from home skits exposed the wealth gap between many of us and those that entertain us, it also let us peer into a more personal side of them, which I will always cherish. During the past few years, late night & SNL have been the only thing keeping many of us sane. Things will be better Vironika!!! Stay safe.
@@rjvaz27 Awww 🥰 Thanks! You too! 😁🙌🏼
1:00 Am I the only one who first thought, "hmm... there's something different about Aidy?"
Me2😂
My second thought was, "Wow, this really shows what a consummate actress she really is!" Wow Aidy!
Right?!
Actually it's Jennifer Lawrence dressed as Aidy B.
I did too!!
You all worked so hard on these episodes. You made history and you all should be proud.
Prediction: Lorne will hand off the show to Keenan in 2024.
Or Kate. They been probably fight for this...
Live...
personally i feel like colin could do it- or at least that is my hope
@@claireebrophyy Nah, Kenan is part of SNL since 2003. He deserves it.
@@God_Is_An_Atheist true, though Colin has been at SNL as a writer since 2005, so he’s no rookie!
Pete's laugh is the most adorable thing
it truly is 🥺❤️
I've been a loyal SNL fan for decades. This really moved me. I'm grateful I was able to attend a live show late last year, and grateful for all of ya'll for always making me laugh. 🙏🏽❤
Did they pump laughing gas into the studio? For some reason, that's why I feel there is all this laughter even those most of the stuff they do sucks.
Petes laugh ❤
Hilarious!
Well said, Kenan at the end.
I've never felt closer to the cast. The At Home episodes have been my favorite of all time. Thanks Pete and thanks everyone for keeping us all hyped during this madness.
I honestly cried watching the dreams skit
Yep hit me unexpectedly
Can I join the club? It left me in tears too. This skit will be legendary. The 1st one in SNL's 45 yr history that made people cry. And even looking for a hidden message in it.
Takis food review 😮🤬 czcams.com/video/AWU6R4sXlfo/video.html. MOFS BAMBOOZLED ME
Same.
petes giggling is what made me watch this video
I definitely needed those three episodes to know they were just trying their best to keep going just like I was.
Living in Wales, I cannot see SNL on a Saturday like everyone else, but I can't wait until Sunday morning to watch the playlist from the night before on CZcams. The only thing missing for me is the opening title sequence seeing the cast around NY. It was my birthday on May 10 and when I saw the 'Dreams' sketch I legit cried. You actually made me cry on my birthday! lol Have a great Summer everyone. I look forward to Season 46 of 'Sunday Morning (not so) Live. 😉☺😁
This group is a really special cast. Thank you for helping carry us through these tough times. I look forward to the next season.
Pete is a legend
This was amazing. They are brilliant minds and they pulled every skit off beautifully.
Omg, SNL, y'all hitting some emotions here.
Chloe Fineman had excellent sketches!! She really embraced this format.
Also, in my opinion the weekend update was better the first week. It was more raw and it was cool that there were people on the line listening to jokes.
They had some surprisingly great skits from home. Thanks for helping us laugh, even in quarantine. ❤️SNL. 😆
Loved this. I'm enjoying this "type" of SNL lots. This covid era is bringing out everyone's creativity, from drive-by birthday parades to zoom business meetings. It will be in everyone's stories forever.
Mad love to all of their neighbors watching them do these skits. ✨
Pete's songs were awesome tbh
I could watch this for hours! Love this little snippet of how the show was able to keep going. I know a lot of us were like, "Does everyone have a green screen at home just laying around?! Or a random wig?" Soo great!
Why are they talking about the show like it’s dead 😂
It kinda is the first time it's not been on in decades.
The season is over, so this is kind of their "goodbye"
Well, if we're lucky, they'll be back in the studio once the next season starts
It’s been dead for years.
@@Elizabeth97023 then what you doing here...exactly
Mikey and his son are SO CUTE
Anna Drezen looks almost identical to Aidy Bryant
Thank you 😄😄😄. When I saw her I thought "what's wrong with aidy's voice. She sounds different".
RIGHT I was like “aidy look kinda different here” lmao
Ya, I was confused for a minute !
Til I saw this comment I thought it was her,,.. just in home mode lmfao
We will get through this guys. Persevere. You guys are some of my favorite people in the world. ❤️
the at-home episodes really brought a sense of normalcy and comfort when I think we all really needed it and I’m so grateful for that.
I remember being so moved when the first SNL at Home show aired. I sobbed all the way through (mostly, cries of joy!). I'm filling up again watching this stories episode. Stay safe everyone xxx
So when are we getting Bill Hader as an SNL at Home guest?
For real... We need content!
Stefon @ home would be everything!!!!!!!
Pete’s laugh is contagious.
Where my boy Bowen at
Edit: noice. Love Bowen. He needs to be on more
Pete’s laugh at the start has me dead 💀 😂
Thank you all! I'll never forget what all of you did for all of us. You're all the best!
I've been watching SNL for over forty years and I've never felt as connected with and proud of the cast as I do right now. The at-home sketches were on-the-money! They deserve trophies: "Show Most Gone On"
Thank you SNL!
What you all did during this time was fantastic! I laughed until I was crying. Thank you for this 3 episodes... you really lifted my spirits and made me forget about this pandemic for a short time.
Mikey's son is top tierrr
I’m here for Pete
Can you imagine being next door neighbors with someone like Pete
This is so touching
They basically had to become CZcamsrs lol
This "backstage" look at the making of the at-home shows is so cool. Makes the cast feel even more relatable like real people just trying to do their jobs during this crazy time just like the rest of us.
True.
Pete laughing here just sounds so wholesome 😭😭
I'm so glad I saw this. It's really touching to see how everyone felt - including behind the scenes - and managed to pull through and keep going through this awful time. Power to you all!
So uplifting yet a little sad too. Love and Peace to everyone. God Bless!!!!
That Dreams sketch got me....beautiful. So excited for you all to be back 🙏🏼🙌🏻
Thanks for posting this. Really some feel good stuff here
They’re making the best of a tough situation HUGE props to the cast
You are all amazing ♥️♥️♥️♥️ These at home sketches were some of my favorite of ALL time ♥️♥️♥️♥️
POV: it's December 2021 and you're crying watching this from the sad nostalgia of the early pandemic months
Mikey writing a letter to his son 😭😍
This was so awesome, I've been loving watching SNL quarantine edition, it makes me feel less alone. 💖. Thank you guys 👏🏼👏🏼
*Kenan seems like one of the nicest people ever.*
I love _the entire cast_ but aside from #Lorne (meaning who knows more about SNL than him) just hearing him talk about #SNL is like listening to #MerylStreep talk about film making. _This was like if MJ made the documentary while he was STILL PLAYING and still performing at his peak._
_He’s appropriately the __#LINCOLN__ on the __#MtRushmore__ of SNL_
*Thanks for posting this SNL❗️*
💙 YOUR FANS LO❤️E YOU 💛
Were the hashtags #neccesary
Yes! And his daughters are adorable.
This is why they are the best! Good humans..big hearts!!😘
I have been loving your home shows! You are so inspiring.
This just makes me cry I love them all!!!
I'm crying.. This was really touching
The show and every member of it, are part of my life, through highs and lows. Thank you folks.
I love Saturday night live. You guys really make me happy. During this pandemic what we all need is a good laugh.
You can tell they were all challenged by this experience. What an amazing cast and a perfect group to rise to the occasion. Unforgettable!
Love you ALL! Can’t wait for the first show in the fall. Let’s just hope that America can get through the summer. So much craziness now.
“I wrote him a thank you” lol tbh I thought that was his son’s handwriting for a second.
I loved seeing Mikey including his son
I cant wait to see what they do tonight. This show has always been a comfort to me. Laughter in times of my personal darkness. I appreciate their spirit of "the show must go on" and you have to laugh sometimes to keep from crying.
7:11 all the feels I love this specific message your words to the universe
I never thought that an SNL sketch would make me cry tears besides laughter.
Lol this is awesome, and weirdly encouraging. Thank you SNL.
Namaste, Val.
Man I love this cast
Thanks to all of you for the effort you put into those SNL@home episodes. They were amazing and an incredible encapsulation of these strange days.
Indeed!
I really love this generations cast I know for a fact they will be remembered as one of SNL’s greatest cast ensembles
Great stuff SNL! So proud of all of you for putting these shows together!
What a pleasure it is to continue watching you guys do what you do so well! It's helped me everyday a little bit. And I go way back to the very first episode in 1975.
i love SNL!!! love you all for doing these at home shows!!! thank you - we needed them!! xo
Agreed.
I don't know but I just cried my eyes out watching this clip. These guys touched my heart so much! I love Snl and cant wait for new shows!!!!!!
I hear ya!
I think how you all of you were able to pull off the last three episodes is nothing short of remarkable. Thank you so much for providing some much-needed laughs during these very stressful & uncertain times.
Agreed!
Your own biases aside, this show is about the people that make it and they are human and they feel and love and this was touching
No biases here, the show is more than just the actors. Scores of people produce the normal show - set designers, camera people, makeup, audience, etc. The at home version boiled down to youtube quality production, but was good for what it was.
With that said bring back the regular show, we are ready.
Man, Love you guys so much!!!! Thank you for all you do!! Of course SNL lives on, wouldn't expect it any other way. Thank you again.
Beautiful idea and stories--keep 'em comin'!
Ty from scotland (I watch the uploaded sketches on CZcams) it helped with lockdown. Watch them all in one go. Every week So ty to all cast and crew. The Pete davis raps were amazing. And the dream sketch, helped me write a poem
Without a doubt the funniest sketches ever made for SNL because it was so pure and raw. I loved it and would not mind if they do this more often.
