- Here i explained : how to find original g shock watch is original or fake in very simple manner , as i shown in video the module number functionality doesn't work on duplicate watches , hope it helps you friends.
Noticed the acrylic crystal right away and the extra large caseback as well as the buttons flush with the button guards.
If the watch has a plastic cover over the crystal or caseback it's Counterfeit. The plastic cover usually has a red line on it. Normally to one side or the other but rarely in the middle. A letter or number would probably be in the middle however.
The 3 button test works on many counterfeits. Takes more than that to be sure it's not counterfeit.

I bought a GA-110 off of eBay and I received a counterfeit. I've personally opened the caseback and saw the Chinese movement. The 3 button test works on it however.

Most of them I know but I'm not sure about all of them. I got a Counterfeit from eBay and I decided to learn as much as I can since G-Shocks are my favorite watch. Especially the 7900 series w/ tough solar and multi band 6.
I have bought a AWR-M100SAR.. I hold the four buttons (ADJUST - MODE - REVERSE - FORWARD ) then it displayed all the options but when I don't have reset button in my AWR-M100SAR G-Shock.. so I can't see the code brother. Do you have any idea how to see it on my AWR-M100SAR ??
- I didn't tried on other models.... but it's a standard procedure to check it out about originality....... or scan the QR code out of the box regarding genuine product or not... that's simple dear.... and free from tension

Thump w/ your middle finger. Hold it back with your thumb and snap the crystal. If it makes a high crack sound it's acrylic. If it makes a low thud then it's mineral crystal. If it has an acrylic crystal it's fake.

It's not a guarantee though. Just because the 3 button test works doesn't mean it's not Counterfeit. I have a GA-110 that I bought off eBay that is counterfeit. The 3 button test works on it. G-Shocks are counterfeited a lot.

No it’s real. G-shock uses older modules in some of their newer watches so it would show the number of the older module instead of the numbers in the back
Yeah lol , it's not the model number it's the manual number , they change it sometimes, if you get the option to display model number I think it's real fake g shocks won't even display that it just shows 0000 or won't show anything
Hlw bro .Mine is ga 700 1ADR ; module 5522 but after doing the same process it is showing 5478 in the display .Is my watch real?pls tell me
- as of I know if it is something showing..... it's a real watch...... bcz fake watches doesn't handle such process
in the blackplate the last 4 numnber 2741 but in the display it shows 2747 is this original?

My module no. is a 12 digit code. The first four digits matches with the back of the watch.
But it has rest other 8 digits. What is it? Original or fake?

@@vamsinaik I am saying that the 3 button test doesn't work anymore is because the Chinese have incorporated the test into their movements. My counterfeit GA-110 has a 3 button test that works correctly. However, I have taken the caseback off and saw the Chinese movement with my own eyes.
