  • Hello CZcamsrs
    I hope you are all well and sound . In this video I would like to share with you the way I use or set my Panasonic FZ2000/2500 when I shoot photos with it. I use this camera mainly for video work but sometimes I don`t want to carry all my gear so then I just grab the FZ2500 because it has everything you would want for a family or casual shooting. So let`s see how i set this lovely bridge camera and let`s discuss it. If you have some tips for me or different opinion please feel free to leave a comment down below , if you don`t agree with me it`s ok leave a comment and we can discuss it in a professional manner. If you like this video please like and subscribe and share my videos, other than that I wish you a great day and I`ll see you in the next one.
    My work.

    I love these bridge cameras, I had the sony rx10mk3 and just picked up the mkiv which has crazy fast autofocus and 24fps with up to 600mm reach! I use it more than my detachable lens camera

      Longrider yes these bridge cameras are excellent quality. I love them as well. You are talking about the mark III,
      is that the one with f2. 8 lens all the way up??? I know there is a Sony RX camera with f2. 8 lens but I don't know which one. Mark II or Mark III???,

      the mk2 is 2.8 all through but I think it only goes to 3 or 400, I like the longer reach to 600 and use it alot for concerts and events. The other benefit is here in the states many venues will not let you bring a detachable lens camera inside. with these new generation of bridge cameras you can get really amazing shots from the cheap seats lol

    I enjoyed your video. Very nicely done. JPG engine is a bit too over sharp as is. My preferred settings, STD profile, Contrast +1, Sharpening -4, Noise reduction -3, Saturation and Hue at 0. This makes a very nice JPG, with some room to adjust sharpening in post.

    I can't get to any store to put one of these in my hands so this is my VR. I've used a Pana tm700 camcorder for almost 10 yrs and the need to bump up my game is overwhelming. FZ2500 blows me away and, somewhat fits my budget.

    Thanks for the video on FZ2000, however I was hoping you would also tell us how you could set the infrared shoot mode. I can not find it in the instruction guide

    Thanks for this video. Have you changed ( + or - from the default ones ) any of your settings in ' Photo Style ' ? On my FZ2500 I've set the 'sharpness' to +1 and the 'NC' ( noise reduction ) to -2. I've also changed the exposure comp. button to be my focus - I've attached a rubber cap to it so that it is a bit higher. I've made the front wheel - next to the shutter button - the exposure comp. Like you mention there are so many ways to personalize this camera. Do you have any thoughts on the FF focus mode ? Thanks

      @BlueSkyPhotography  Před 6 lety

      Ray Jenkins no I didn't change any of those settings. The truth is that I use the camera only for my hobby photos, when it comes to a payed job I go back to my Nikon gear or to my Fujifilm XT-20. But I plan to buy the G9 and if I will be happy with the image quality, probably I will sell my Nikon gear. I love Panasonic for video and hopefully the G9 will be my workhorse body.

      Ray Jenkins by the way the focus mode i use is the continuous auto focus. I didn't really used the FF but some people say that it is as good as the continuous one. I could not see any difference to be honest.

    Loved how clear you made this video and one question. I can't get that small area to magnify the focus point that you show 7.52 into the video, please how does that happen?

      Go to wrenchC in the menu, then find page 4. MF Assist , top choice of the 4 available choices. Also just below MF Assist find, MF Assist display. Two choices, I like FULL.

    I would have a question, sorry in advance when I stutter, I'm a bit confused.. at full pure zoom, so 400mm - without close-up lens - with the 1" sensor of the FZ1000..2000, what is that compared to a FZ150 .. 200..300 with its small 1/2.3" sensor, but 600mm focal length for a cut? I can not imagine it crop-technically, I do not think so. I'm not about photos, where you could cut out of me from the higher resolution of the 1" a picture, I'm about videos where 4K of course has the same resolution on both .. So I film with a 1/2.3" Camera / 600mm a 1m folding rule, which in the picture extends exactly from left to right, what do I see in the 1" camera at 400mm from the same distance? Left and right of the ruler blank or fits the folding rule not on it? :) Thank you in advance..

    Is there a manual focus ring on this camera so I don't have to use the AF?

    Panasonic electronics, Leica glass - great combination. You'll need A 4k TV to see best results.

    Hi, when I set up my camera in manual mode yes it's works great but if I switch the camera off then back on I have to set it up all over again!!! Do I have a fault with mine or dose or do they all do that??
    Thanks for your help,
    William

    • @BlueSkyPhotography
      @BlueSkyPhotography  Před 5 lety +1

      I never noticed something like that. So most likely it is an error. Try to set back to factory settings the camera and than take out the battery for a minute.

      @@BlueSkyPhotography thanks for your help with this but I'm afraid I've done all that so it's looking like I have a duff camera!!!
      But thanks anyway, William.

    I can't seem to get my flash to work and I can't seem to change my shutter type to MSHTR whilst my camera is in Manual Mode?

    • @BlueSkyPhotography
      @BlueSkyPhotography  Před 6 lety

      Rajeev you have to be able to do it in manual mode. Go into the menu and select over there. The flash will only work with mechanical shutter.

    Turn off the music, it's distracting and doesn't add anything to the video.
