But you're brain & cerebral fluids would also expand (your skull would contain that pressure for a brief time before exploding) like in a pressure cooker pretty much immediately after that anyway. No doubt that it would be a *quick* death, but maybe not quite quick enough to feel *nothing* before you're done...As in, well done.

    - Have my lungs vaporized on the way down
    - All my nerves would be burnt up before I touched down
    - My eyes would boil like eggs and turn into steam
    - EVERY bone in my body would break as they pierced into the lava
    - I would be trapped underneath it for a few seconds before popping back out
    - And then what's left of my corpse would zip around the surface of the lava like Mario Kart.

    So lemme get this straight
    Not only would you float on top,
    You may also *skid* across the surface like satan himself chose you as his skipping stone?
    Your skin decides melting off is *much* to cliché and instead goes " No, *I shall b o i l* "
    Jumping in causes you to literally pull a mario in bowser's castle
    Except you shatter every bone in your body so you come back up as a deformed blobfish of a fireball
    Before all this though, most importantly,

      @gryffehondor4236 Před 6 lety +8

    My dad was telling me a story that his friend(that was a long retired steel mill worker) told him. So my dads friend was working at a Pittsburgh steel mill, and he noticed that there was a pair of boots and a wallet on one of the overhead beams. And then he looked over onto a beam directly above a vat of molten steel and saw that there was a man standing there, and before he could let an operator now he was there, he jumped into the steel and, his words, "fell onto it like it was concrete and disintegrated into dust". He had left his boots and wallet on the beams so they could be found and he could be identified and his family be compensated for his death. He said it was one of the worst things that he had ever seen.

So yeah, looks horrific for quite some time, but only painful for maybe 2-3 seconds, tops. In fact your body is probably in shock during that time anyway, so you probably don't feel any pain at all.

      Depending on the temperature, you might be like the Pompeii people and die instantly with little damage to your body, though you'd probably be missing your lungs, or you could be like the Herculaneum people and have the skin vaporized off your body.
      Either way, you definitely die from cooking. They definitely didn't live long enough to suffocate, which is a small mercy.

    • @JonathanGreen1337
      @JonathanGreen1337 Před 8 lety +34

      +Neurofied Yamato Yes, but the reason it floats is because all of that mass is spread over a large area that contains mostly air, therefore lowering the density. If the terminator is so heavy that a group of strong and in shape firemen couldn't pick him up, he would need to take up a lot more space in order to lower his density so that he could float. Density is just mass over volume, so increasing the mass without increasing volume would increase density.

    • @neurofiedyamato8763
      @neurofiedyamato8763 Před 8 lety

      Jonathan Green I don't think firemen is a very good way of gauging how much mass is in an object... But I see your point. Your original post just said firemen, so I assumed one person which shouldn't really be able to pick a hunk of metal anyways.

    • @JonathanGreen1337
      @JonathanGreen1337 Před 8 lety +4

      I was just pointing out that the fact that multiple firemen not being able to lift something must mean that it is pretty heavy. Obviously we couldn't gauge an exact weight based on that alone.

    Does anyone know what the background music is (from), what it's called or who made it? It sounds so cool
