Forget about hounds for the fusion champ - he is already very strong for Hydra. He fulfills several important roles - Mischief tanking, applying hex constantly, applying AoE block buffs (and avoiding a chance of weak hits), and most importantly, if built fast enough, he can prevent your champs from getting eaten thanks to the taunt. This is the first champ with a 2 turn taunt on a 3 turn cooldown, which is quite significant.
If you plan on pushing Hydra down the line, this champ shouldn't be skipped. That aside, there is also the likelihood that we'll get some really strong hounds down the line. You know how Plarium works, and how they will try to generate as much revenue as they can with future hound releases.

There was a hint they might introduce more hounds in the future, so there's some speculation there might be a better hound or even a legendary one.

I’d go for him off the simple fact of plarium being plarium introducing a legendary or even a mythical champion hound to pair with the fusion
it's about future hounds that they hinted at... that's why you grab him (ok yeah you got there... if I was in a position to do the fusion on an account I totally would. He seems like he'd be a lot of fun.)
I bet they do release a good future hound...but I also bet it will be hard to get...like some random void leggo from a shard or something.
you should go for the fusion, is you want to have something cool for Hydra. 2 turn taunt on a 3 turn CD its pretty insane to make an infinite taunt compo without needing S-tier champs.

Yeah I don’t get why so many people are overlooking his taunt. Seems like Wixwell again where most of the CCs said he wasn’t that good.

Head Of Mischief would TOTALLY not be able to steal that, lol. What happens next? You're attacking into that head over and over again and it's getting redirected. It's a worse version than provoke because it doesn't force A1 and is able to be stolen, what exactly is this doing for someone that already has a reliable provoker?
@@WutTheDeuceGaming if taunt buff is up, no one can be devaured. Its the staple of an unkillable hydra team.
Fusion looks pretty decent as a hydra mischief tank that brings some other useful abilities to that fight, but honestly he just looks fun to mess around with. I wouldn't pass him if you have the resources... especially if you're looking for an excuse to fuse Mithrala anyways. Go for it.

personally, any champ that has AOE block buffs is already a contender for completing a fusion, it's just not tht many accessable champs that have that debuff, other than Uugo, so I'll be doing it, seeing as i have loads of shards saved up
I'm only going for the fusion for the taunt and the chance of a good future hound...and because i'm bored of doing nothing. But the champion is not super exiting...but he might be good on a second hydra team as a mystic tank.
I bet you Plarieum will release a brand new legendary hound in near future though
Its worth noting that it they said future dogs may work with him. Aka, i am sure they will add dogs that make him worth it.
Im only lvl 63, I dont really want to do the fusion but im thinking all the champions and stuff i get for using shards and resources that I saved from not doing last months fusion is worth it alone. the guarantied champ is just the cherry on top.
3 turn cd taunt, block buffs & turn meter boost, hex and speed in all battles aura, he looks pretty solid let alone the potential future champs that can pair with him

That's about the way I feel about this fusion. But then I think of new rares being released.

If you don't go for the fusion this time round you from my history at leastr more likely to get a fusion as your "Extra Legendary" in those events. ... never had one out of the two champs that was not a previus fusion
I think for the fusion the block buff placed is reason enough for me atleast so i can make a new hydra team!
You can make up whatever lost points by just fusing multiple Broadmaws and Relic Keepers..

This upcoming fusion is an easy skip. I’m not a fan of champs that require other champs to be fully useful. Not saying some champs can’t be useful alone but still sucks there whole kit is locked behind another champ
He doesn’t require other champs to be useful, he’s got a pretty great kit even without the hounds.

see people talking about a taunt. Here's why that taunt is poopy butthole, IT CAN BE STOLEN. I see no use for a taunt in Hydra if I already have a provoker. People really are overrating this champ in the comments due to a buff the Head Of Mischief would have a field day with. Unless you have 400 resistance just lying around, I see no point building him for Hydra.
