Yes
pretty sure the camera mirror settings "mirror" the image received from the camera. Eg if a palm tree is on the left after mirroring its now on the right side of the screen

I believe the mirror just flips image left to right.
I don't know why you would want to bother flipping the image, but it does make sense

@@electronicsNmore I'm surprised there isn't a option to flip the image as well as mirror it. I've got a aftermarket backup camera and the way i mounted it required me to flip the image so it wasn't shown on screen upside down. This option exists so they have fully compatible with all types of camera and installations
@@james6794 That makes more sense. There's no reason to mirror the image, but I can see flipping it upside down if the camera is mounted upside down
Been looking at these units for a 2006 Caravan but they all pretty much seem the same and wildly vary in price.

Can you install your own Android programs?
Is the system 100% compatible with your car's system? Very often, 3rd party audio systems keep drawing current from the battery directly, or some car computer modules stay awake and consume power because they consider the head unit a "stranger" on the CAN bus.
The one thing I don't like with my newer car is the screen is integrated. However, it is an 8" screen and it's pretty nice even by today's 11" standards. But, you lose modularity.

Not really, I've seen many cars that have a display screen sticking up out of the dash or pushed forward. In my case, nothing is blocked, and I like not having to learn forward.
