Early Morning Plane Spotting at LONDON GATWICK AIRPORT, LGW - 26/06/24

A gorgeous summers morning at London Gatwick Airport. Set to be one of the hottest days of the year, I got up bright and early to get to LGW for 6am and film the morning buzz of action. How Gatwick has changed in recent years! Lots of new carriers and routes popping up which is great to see. Particular highlights for me were:
Air Mauritius A350
Azerbaijan 767
Air Peace 777-200
Delta 767
China Eastern 777-300
Air China A330-300
Look out for the Air Europa 737 GO AROUND! My guess is the departing aircraft was still on the runway, although I have seen much closer gaps between arriving & departing at LGW than that occasion. So that is merely a guess.

@@TrainPlaneHub Only thing I sometimes notice is that the camera loses focus. Is that much of an issue or is there a setting to try and reduce this, especially with fast moving objects?

At Gatwick they are yes. Gatwick essentially gets all the crap planes that Heathrow don’t want anymore 😁
