Summer Plane Spotting at London Gatwick Airport, LGW | 19-06-24

A hot and humid mid day at Gatwick, one of the worlds busiest single runway airports. I only stayed for 2 hours and within that time got a good few movements including an eye catching livery from China Eastern. ITA have also started operations here, moving down from Heathrow. Delta have resumed their summer only service to New York and Westjet have also resumed their summer only 737 route to Newfoundland. Great mixture of airlines

As I said it was a warm day with temperatures in the high 20s so there is quite a bit of heat distortion, particularly when the clouds started to break and the sun came out.
