Plane Spotting at Manchester Airport, Single Runway Op's RW23R | 30-10-22

After some great trips internationally it was good to get back to the UK and visit some domestic airports again, first on my list was returning to Manchester on the first day of the Winter schedule for 2022/23. There were quite a few changes from the past season including the change on the Ethiopian route which now flies to Manchester via Geneva prior to flying via Brussels. Emirates are now using the A380 on the morning rotation meaning 3x daily A380 services. Etihad are now using 777's at Manchester as well, and on this particular occasion I got to see one still in the old livery!
The weather felt quite Autumnal during this visit too with a slight breeze present as well as changing weather conditions. We started off overcast, grey and cloudy, then the sun came out and later on we had some showers pass which made for some great wet runway action towards the end of this visit! It had felt like 4 seasons in one day

I can't help thinking the 787 is an ugly aircraft. I especially dislike it's thin, floppy wings with their ridiculously huge wing flex. Great video. 👍
