- In february 1995 a really interesting Mario game got released. Mario’s game gallery, which later got re released under the promising title Mario’s FUNdamentals. The game looks like the standard 90s mario cash grab game at first. It’s just a collection of five board games, featuring mario. But actually there are several things setting this weird little game collection apart from other obscure mario games. Mario’s FUNdamentals is a really weird game, among the weirdest games mario ever did. But is the game any good? Well, let’s take a deep look into this almost forgotten part of marios career, and let’s find out!

Ceave, in Dominoes you could place the first cause it has to have double numbers, like 5:5 or 6:6. And it has to be the one with the higher number
Yeah, most of his complaints with Dominoes is simply not knowing the rules of Dominoes.
Bane Williams Yeah dominos is at least sort of fun when you know how to play. I mainly played mexican train though which is a little different then regular dominos
To be fair, the game should probably help you with the rules. The target audience was probably not very old.

Also, there is some thinking in Dominoes. It's a tiny thing, but it is something:
If the two symbols available are a Mushroom and a Fire Flower, and Mario draw Dominoes until he can place one, then you know for sure that he doesn't have Mushrooms or Fire Flowers. So, if you have the option, you should place a Mushroom/Fire Flower instead of any other piece you might have.
Hi ceave, the reason you weren’t able to place the first domino is because the first one must be the highest double in your hand. Hope this helps.

Yeah, and there really is some skill to playing the game, it's not as boring as he thought. You want to limit your opponents options so they have to draw and such. I used to play dominoes a ton as a kid and it made me sad that Ceave didn't fully appreciate the game.

Here's a basic rundown of it (though it will be somewhat hard to explain without a board): When it's your turn, you roll the dice, and whatever is on the dice is how far you move a piece. You can only move the piece as many spaces as are on the dice. That means if you roll a 5 and a 2, then you can move a piece 5, 2, or 7 spaces. You cannot move 1, 3, 4, or 6 spaces, only the numbers on the dice. You can only move to a space if there is one enemy on there, if it's empty, or if it has one of your pieces on there. If you have more than 2 pieces on a space, then enemy pieces cannot take out your pieces. If there is only one piece on there, you can take it out. The game ends when you move all your pieces into the goal, where once it's there, it stays there. However, that's a basic rundown of the game, so I might be missing some rules.

@@luigines6457 That's the gist. To add about capturing though. If your piece is captured, or multiple are, come your turn you still roll the dice. You place a captured piece in the opponent's "base" based on the number, 1 being closest to their goal, 6 being furthest. You must place all captured pieces back on the board before you can move any other pieces. This means if there are no legal moves, such as if you rolled double 6 but the opponent has more than one piece in that spot, then your turn is forfeit and you can't use that roll for other pieces. If an opponent has one piece in a spot, you can capture it just like you normally would.
It's really easy to use this to not just beat, but absolutely embarrass bad backgammon AIs. All you have to do is have at least two pieces in as many places of your base as possible, and capture their pieces. You get turns and turns of free moves while they keep losing their turn because they can't make any legal moves.

I'm surprised you haven't heard of Yacht (which I know as Yahtzee). It's fairly well known in the Southern USA, and seems to be semi-popular in the rest of the anglo world.

So Mario's first line was "Hello, I’m Mario, let’s make a pizza pie together". Ceave was almost correct!
I think it wouldn't let you throw down the tiles in dominoes because you need to throw a 6:6 or 5:5 or 4:4 or 3:3 or 2:2 or 1:1 or 0:0 (in that order... So if you have a 6:6, you have to throw that one, even if you have a 5:5, though if you only have a 2:2 and a 1:1, you would have to throw the 2:2). Though I could be wrong about all this, but that's just how I know dominoes is played... Not sure if they coded it to be that way though.

I think they should function like snake blocks, but you can adjust both sides. You can make it longer, and you can make it start vertically. You can change how many there are, and when on tracks, only one segment appears (each segment is a fuzzy). When not on tracks, when one fuzzy hits the end, all fuzzies move back, like in the 3d games. When on tracks, they act like normal enemies on tracks, but faster (even without wings). You can’t make them bigger, and they can’t go through clear pipes, because 1) Mario can’t be hurt when in clear pipes, 2) You can’t change direction inside clear pipes so you can’t avoid them, and 3) If the fuzzies go through the clear pipe, then the fuzzy track would automatically go to the other side in maker mode, creating complications.
Another option for the tracks is that only one segment goes on the tracks, but you can extend them while on the tracks, because then they’ll load as one entity, so they won’t spawn when Mario loads them in by going toward them, ruining any patterns. Also, when taken off the track, only one segment will remain.
You can change their speed too.
Okay, now I think that if Nintendo adds fuzzies, Ceave will be greatly disappointed, even if they have the same properties as from their original games.

Actually you are both wrong, the first Super Mario video game Charles Martinet voiced was Super Mario Bros. Pinball in 1992, however he was not credited for this. Prior to this he had voiced a giant Mario head for conventions. Would be interesting to see a video about Charles Martinet's history of voice acting Mario

And while yeah, he hasnt done much in the last few months, your argument falls apart when you take into account that he *always* has had something to say with every major update to mario maker 1 and 2, and he was always relatively punctual with it (like within a week or so usually)regardless of how infrequent his uploads or posts were prior.

I feel bad for Ceave, he is taking a break and 100s of comments are asking the same question: where are your videos. @ICEBOYSETH is just making a statement but some people are being a little rude(in my opinion) like "why aren't you making any videos" or even"are you dead?" I just hope that with people like you, Batron Gordeg, that people will look at other comments rather than posting their own repetitive comment. We all love Ceave and what he does but I hope people aren't going to co tune to be rude about this. Sorry this was long and I AM NOT trying to criticize others I'm mostly just thanking you for informing me and others

@@biggestbubba Well its kind of normal. Ceave is one of my favorite youtubers and when he stopped i was worried. I checked a lot of comments and one of them sayed about that, and in replies i saw link to psycrow tweet. Then i decided to spread it becouse a lot of "Ladies and getntlemans" didn't saw it and they were worried too. A lot of people don't read comments (in other video's i was reading them for fun) and just post somthing quickly and wait for response. Not everyone reads comments for example when a content creator stopped posting or just for fun and they don't think that can have information. But i saw a couple of others that tried to spread it but ussualy (with one exeption) they stop after a while. So that brings up that for people that don't read comments don't even know that they can have information. And i decided to spread it becouse i was worried that people would unsubscribe ceave and stop waching it and the chanel would slowly died.
7:17 this wasn't the game's fault, this was you not knowing a certain rule - the player who has the highest double must start the game with that double.
wariolandgoldpiramid game should tell you how to play instead of leaving you confused. the game does little to indicate that you are making a wrong move and you could chalk it up to jank

I have been tired from answering to recent comments about ceave so please if you read this like it, here is what happened: Psycrow sent him an email on which he replied basically saying he has been having some IRL problems so he will probably come back, and NO he has NOT got COVID-19 just let him take his time.
It’s been a month, so a new video should be out soon.
I checked the comments, and I know he’s okay. I still miss him though.
When he has the time to post again, I’ll be extremely excited. Though, when he’s ready, I would hate to force him. His videos just make me really happy!
So, when he comes back, I’ll give him all my support, and I hope you guys do too!

With a single level, and a time limit, we get a lot of points! but, in 3.0...
...you can get ×40 that!
How though? Well, with the inclusion of super worlds, we can mash 40 "score levels" together. But why? how will that help? Well, its surprisingly simple.
*Score carries over each level.* So basically, we can get ×40 our current highscore. *_It even carries over in worlds._* That means we can get 8 worlds of 5 that have a contraption that gets the highest score in a level. HOWEVER, I dont think any of us are that commited to do that just for a silly number. But you never know, people do theese things.
I thought of this in bed last night.

Its now possible to make an impossible SMM2 level and upload it. You do it by taking any level you've uploaded and edit it so its impossible, any way works such as covering the goal with ground, then add it to your world along with any other ALREADY UPLOADED courses.

I kid you not, my mother was playing this game in the 1990s when she was in her 30s, and I was a little kid, and she was looking for a kid-friendly game. We both loved this game, and to this moment, she still thinks that this is *the* Mario game. For her, the entire Mario’s game gallery is *the* Mario franchise. We were not aware of the ‘Yacht’ dice game, and we taught our friends how to play it, referring to it as the ‘Yacth game from Mario’. For me, this is a fond childhood memory, and, despite having watched your entire channel, I have... never played a different Mario game. Yes, we exist!
