Danielle is such a talented actor in fact so talented that as much as I liked Legacies she was way too good for a show like this. I hope she gets a major lead role in a future project 🤞🏼

Im still holding out hope for one more season of legacies to be announced next year but the more years that go by the longer I care less and less.
Well Danielle said in an interview in early 2023 when she was asked if she would ever play Hope again and said she’s done playing Hope since her character had a good ending. She had taken a break but just recently got back into auditioning. There is no Legacies without Hope and either way it’s confirmed that season 4 was the finale sadly.
@@rhlm_eddy1814 I dont get why then julie plec dont just say its a wrap rather than her and brett matthews stating oh there will be more we just dont know when or where, but then its like well there wont be more then if you cant guarantee anything. And yeah even if hope did return idk what big stories you can do with her at this point, maybe she could try to have a child with landon again and go into motherhood but other than that im not sure.
@@malivore7264 Julie said she has plans for another spinoff but honestly I think it’s time for her to just stop with the spinoffs. I kinda forced myself to watch the first season of legacies because of how much I love TVD universe but I hated the new-monster-in-town thing every episode and the show was so goofy at the start. It got somewhat better halfway through season 2 and in my opinion it reached its peak around the start of season 3. I LOVED season 4 because of Hope. Honestly if it wasn’t for Danielle being so talented then I wouldn’t have even looked at Legacies. She was way too good for this show wouldn’t you agree?
@@rhlm_eddy1814 Well its like she needs to know when to say enough is enough, the franchise has been run into the ground at this point, like have some dignity julie and brett and say no more the story is closed up, Id rather have that confirmation of closure rather than hooked on like a sucker with false promises every year. Because news flash julie and brett but actors dont get younger either and there is no guarantee how long they will live, we lost a young actor chance perdomo at only 27 a month or so ago, not to mention some of the characters are vampires and supposed to remain young and the more they put off the project the more of wrinkles, grey hair, etc comes into play. Or even just actors retiring cause ian somerhalder said he is done acting so even if we get more tvd stuff no more damon and whether I was a big fan of him or not his popularity is the main reason tvd survived for 8 seasons I think. Yeah there is AI deepfake crap to make up for that but do they really want to reach that point? Not to mention all we have are random ideas thrown out nothing is concrete so even julie and brett dont know what they want to do. In their defense I think they have enough material for one last legacies season as long as they dont have filler but like I said the actors arent getting younger and the interest is going down more and more.
Yeah that is the thing if by some chance the show returns they cannot do monster of week anymore and I love monsters but it didnt help the brand and ran off some fans who insist it just remain the main 3 species , alot of fans also got put off my landon being like the new elena, not delivering on hosie, matt davis twitter stuff, josie leaving, the overall silly tone of the show, lack of that serious danger for the protagonists, lack of cameos from the older characters, but the even bigger issue is whether the writing was bad or good or mediocre, legacies was a victim of franchise fatigue, too many times the writing became repetitive and this dont just apply to legacies but to tvd and originals and I checked nielsen ratings in s4 of legacies and by the end they were reaching average 500,000 live views to 200,000 live views, that is really bad especially in this age of streaming where there is so many shows and if the writing isnt up to the fans standards more people will just jump to another show, granted some of that cant be blamed on the writers cause every fan has their own definition of what makes a good show. But honestly julie should be proud of what she accomplished, a franchise of 17 seasons put together, 18 if you count that kol webseries, I mean not alot of shows can say that, the cw was a godsend to julie plec cause apart from maybe syfy channel I dont know another channel that would air them season after season with the ratings they got.
To answer you though I disagree danielle isnt too talented for legacies, most actors are the same to me I dont see any that are more talented than others and honestly danielle sometimes had a robotic performance and acted like she wouldnt want to be there, not that I blame her cause imo it got really bad at the end of s2 and into season 3 to the point I almost quit watching.
At this point the only tvd continuation thing I'd like is an exact adaptation of lj smiths original novels played out on live action. And Im sure someone is going to see my lengthy response and say if you're so upset with legacies stop watching, why do you keep watching?, well its cause there was actually good moments in legacies and there was potential of a few good ideas but they dont go anywhere(kalebs vampire backstory, stopping the gemini merge once and for all to name a few), so Id rather not be baited and switched cause I do feel manipulated and idk whether it was a matter of julie and brett changed their minds or flat out lied to the fans but there are instances they said things about the show that never came true, I dont want to be supporting that anymore.
