I mean the shows are literally hundreds of hours combined, these people are actors, their job is to act, not to catch up on over a dozen of seasons of content just because they got a role in a spin-off of the shows. It's just very unrealistic to expect them to do it, they might not even like it.

@@tommytommy7535 Because it's in the script? That's what directors are for. Actors are presented with certain scenarios and told exactly how to act and how to react to specific things, that's literally what acting is. They don't just improvise in front of the camera, lol. There are people on set who need to know all these things, but its' not the actors.
And yes, Henry Cavill is very invested in the story, that's cool, I'm saying it's just not a requirement. And expecting actors to catch up with hundreds of hours of content is just very unrealistic.

Legacies is like a completely different show when comparing to TVD and TO you could watch Legacies and understand it just fine without watching those two the only question I would have Is what hopes family did that was so bad but that's pretty much it

Plus they're actors not fans they don't need to watch the 8 seasons of TVD and the 5 of TO in order to play their characters 🤷🏿♀️🤷🏿♀️ imagine if the new actors of The Young and the Restless had to watch the 12 000 episodes in order to get cast lol

My thoughts exactly!! You can definitely tell that this is a big problem with why the actors don’t channel the same energy as those from TVD/TO. The shows had a completely different feel to Legacies, but the actors literally have no idea where so much of the background info comes from, even basic things, and that goes a long way in building your characters personality.

That's the thing isn't it whether they watch the show or not they're lines aren't going to change neither is the plot so I don't really get the problem they are all great actors and are playing the characters well

@@erinaethila9736 I’ve seen all shows and I couldn’t get a few of these right. Also, memory issues come with age, so I wouldn’t blame him for getting a few of these wrong or not knowing the answer to them.

I have watched the full series of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals more times than I'd like to admit lol and I love Legacies as well BUT I really wish they would get rid of Malavore and move onto something else. Or even bring some of TVD characters. The fact that this is a spin off yet these actors don't really know much about TVD and TO like backstories actually makes me pretty sad. Its like Legacies is moving more and more away from what made The Vampire Diaries and The Originals such big hits and moving towards a modern day Harry Potter. I love Harry Potter but not like this.... You would think Legacies would be more about the descendants of TVD and TO which yeah it is but Malavore has been the main villian every season and all these monsters and the magic is sooooo different too. I don't see how magic went from how it was in TVD and TO to Harry Potter cringe 🥴 in a matter of what 10 years (story time) when according to all the series witchcraft had been around for thousands of years. Like really, Rick and Caroline (an ex vampire hunter and a vampire turned birthmom of a witches twins that were magically taken from their pregnant witch mother and implanted and cloaked in a dead vampire) cracked some withcraft code that made magic completely different?? Idk I love Legacies but I hate how its attached to TVD and TO yet is sooo different. Maybe I'm just a die hard TVD and TO fan. Lol Legacies just isn't dark, exciting and awesome like I wish it was. I still like it tho.. Lol

Don't get me wrong, I love legacies but I'm just tired of Malavore and really wish they would show more of the vampires and werewolfs powers instead of it always just witchcraft or monsters or Phoenix or Malavore. I feel like the vampires and the wolves are getting the short end of the stick. I want to see MJ or caleb turn their humanity off and terrorize everyone. I want to see some of them get killed and come back. Its all kinda corny cringey kid stuff sometimes. Idk maybe I'm the only one who thinks that lol like i get its a school for the supernatural but TVD and TO had kids too but wasnt afraid to show vampires in all their forms.
@@yeahiknow6587 also the kids who Rick looked up in the prison world. I thought that was a great part and brought me back to tvd but the only part i didnt like was the graphics for Diego. It looked sooooooo fake it was cringy to watch. Reminded me of Buffy the vampire slayer. They made Diego turn halfway into a wolf and it was just so fake looking compared to how realistic TVD and TO was.

These segments would be more fun if they put up a quick explanation card after the "lies" questions to officially clarify why they're wrong.
For example, a dagger covered in White Oak ash can't kill an Original, but a stake made entirely of White Oak totally CAN.
Or that the Ancestral Plane is where New Orleans witches (not werewolves) go when they die.

Just completed binge watching Legacies and I have to say it's not bad only people who haven't watched till the end are ranting about it, I mean season 4 was on par with TVD and TO🙂 And the best of all the characters were amazing.

to her excuse, Danielle played Hope in the next season, not in the one showed the origin of the werewolf and dealt with Hollow herself, Danielle's one dealt with what left of the Hollow, not with her origin
