Victory conditions in base Total War Warhammer 3 just plain suck. Well no longer. The Victory Conditions Overhaul mod changes the victory conditions of almost every faction in the game, making them a lot more engaging and varied from faction to faction. So let’s take a look at the current system, its problems and how this mod addresses each one

One of the best mods I’ve ever used. After I found it in steam I never played a campaign without it
I love this mod so much that I'm incentivized not to play the few lords that do not yet have overhauled victory conditions in the mod (there's at least two lords from each race with new conditions, though).
This mod allowing Cathay (Iron Dragon) to get fucking doom rockets as a reward for fucking around the map is insane

This mod changed my wh3 cycle from playing 2-3 campaigns and uninstalling to going through a campaign for each race. It's just insanely well done.
I hope they get around to doing all the factions, I'm still waiting for Khazrak and Morgur.
Be sure to pair this mod with Legendary Lore (by the same guys) for added tidbits if you like learning Warhammer lore as you play and don't mind reading.
I dont pay much attention to the victory conditions. i've won a few campaigns but then I decided to start coming up with my own goals for a campaign. Most recently I played N'kari and decided it was that campaigns objective to rid Ulthuan and Nagarond of elves because to quote my brother "Fuck Elves" it was a hard fought but fun personal goal for a campaign, I got to learn more about Slaaneshes units in the process... including dont use demonettes as a front line.
I'm not that big on mods.
I just look at the campaign victory conditions as a free +3 for hero capacities or whatever as it is now. I usually make my own objectives as I'm playing, and if I happen to get one of the conditions completed, so be it. I actually wouldn't want more global buffs and benefits as I am probably doing well if not full on cuurb stomping by the point I complete victory conditions. The last thing I need is an even bigger power spike. I'd be all for some more narrative focused campaign goals. Like I love Malakai's campaign, I just don't need all the crazy stat buffs that come with it. The game starts to get boring late game as it is, guaranteeing I kill everything faster only hastens that feeling.

This is such a great mod that I would occasionally check the race selection to see if they added new VCO for a new lord.
This is one of my favorite mods. It gives every single campaign its own feel and fresh feeling
Absolutely bang on about the sack or raze settlements for V objectives. Complete everything else but then just grind without fun to achieve a reward that gives you nothing

Been using this mod for a while now. If y'all love really big battles play the Empire with Franz. Y'all will love the long victory achievement
I'll try it. Just finished a Sartosa campaign. I already had max infamy and had completed the sea shanty by the time I had attacked 31 settlements. After I completed the shanty, the game told me that I was a legendary pirate. Still not good enough, needed to attack 70 settlements to get the long victory.
It desnt work with ongoing campaigns and not with every lord in game but try it anyway its really good.
One of my essential mods to play with, it is simply awesome.
For those of you who want the mod is ''Vanilla Victory conditiona'' or just type ''Victory conditions'' is one of the top mods, easy to find! I use it for a lot of time, is so good and had some amazing battles (some of them)

Well I'm convinced.
I really love WH3 but my biggest complaint is that there are no real achievements nor objectives. The vanilla victory conditions are invariably really boring.
It would be great if they incorporated VCO-type conditions into the base game and even better if they added EU4-style achievements you could works towards.
Does this has a SFO patch?
It doesn't need one thankfully. I use both and they work well together unaided
Am I the only one who misses the flavor text from all the chapter objectives?
Mod sadly do not have new conditions for every lord and moder quit moding.

Victory conditions have always sucked in total war games. Should just absorb this mod into the base game and add some new fancy stuff, people are goal orientated so it just makes sense
