Dark Emissaries and Chaos Fenbeasts should go to Norsca.
Since Norsca has become the catch-all race for Chaos northmen, that should include Chaos followers of Albion.
Hey uh I dunno if you know this but the Instant Gaming page for Critical Assembly already listed Total War: Star Wars and its slated for 2024 release. Either someone there got some super leaks or the store made a big mistake.

The Khemric Titan from Tombs Kings extended is very good quality. If CA just add that and polish it a bit more would be great.
"Preytons" by ChaosRobie . Apparently Kislev also gets them in this mod explained as them being part of Ostankya forces.
A lot of these could be added in a hypothetical Norsca dlc, as they are all about hunting monsters

@@luckiller019there’s even a lore reason for such a DLC, since once upon a time some Norscans decided to raid Nehekhara and decided to steal *Settra the Imperishable’s* crown.

Oh and they stole a bunch of treasures too I guess.
Anyways, then *Settra the Imperishable* found out and led a massive army to get back his crown, and maybe the treasure if they found it, long story short they did and now Norscans refuse to go that far south

@@luckiller019 That would actually be the perfect idea to fix up Norsca, since we don't have ANY of the southern waste tribes on the board. And right now they have what? 2 LL in their roster? I think it would even would if they just did Norsca and TK, and gave 4 LL for Norsca this time (one for each God, and there are still plenty of cool characters they could do) and I don't know if their are still 4 good TK's left, but even just giving them 2 or 3 would work! Man I hope they do something like this. GBoG also mentioned a great idea in a video a while back, about giving Norsca "Cultures", adding in the various different types of Barbarians.

The lore for that makes no damn sense. You'd think Tzeentch would approve of such cunning.
@@johnj.spurgin7037 the problem is that its too banal and basic for Tzeentch. Had the dude manipulated the other tribes into going to war - sure. That might roll. But just being a lowly opportunistic bastard? That's just disappointing.

The Khemric Titan is one big MUST HAVE into the game. It's a construct so big and powerful that it does the jobs of both the Warsphinx and Necrosphinx but better + it's a gigantic vacuum cleaner. It cleans the battlefields of souls of enemies.
Not a great argument for inclusion since you make it sound like it makes those monsters obsolete lmfao
@@brightestlight9462 I mean the Khemric Tital also must have an elevated upkeep and a strict limit cap, so the sphinxes will still be a boon for any TK campaign
@@samot6369You mean a 4 turn or something like that recruitment time. Tomb Kings do not pay upkeep for their units.
@@samot6369 I feel like the game needs more uber-units like the queen bess that can only have one fielded at a time. I feel like it's a unit category separate from RoRs since they're variants of existing units and can be recruited instantly.

Big monsters are cool, no doubt, but personally I'd get a lot more excited by more troop choices, to be honest. It feels like we've had a real glut of SEM units recently, at the expense of regular infantry.

The Nippon inspired Yokai are all missing too.
I really hope GW/CA don't leave Ind, Kuresh and Nippon on the table - they'd be so good.
No such thing as Yokai was ever mentioned in anything Warhammer.
@@1911odisea If nippon is ever implimented, itwould be stupid to not add Yokais.
There also so much variety that you can even make a Yokais faction.

I would be really surprised if they didn't develop them though. I mean every part of the warhammer setting is taking real world stuff from folklore - it would be really odd to me if they didn't add any kind of Yokai or something similar - I mean maybe they'd do nature spirits like Kami instead - or both.

Curs'd Ettins would be an interesting addition to Norsca as it'd give the race multiple new units including spellcastors. Norsca really doesn't have much in the way of giant single entity monsters that can be relied upon other than Mammoths, and Chaos Frost Dragons, so having a cheaper line-breaker type monster unit would help spice up Norscan armies.
Would add to them the Dread Maw too.
You know, considering how CA are STILL updating and adding to the factions even from the previous games and dlcs, with The Greenskins coming next as part of the upcoming dlc and the Empire and Dwarves from the most recent one, I actually have high hopes that we haven’t seen the last of the missing units.
If CA are going to be continuing their current path, especially after their new push for redemption, I’m staying optimistic that one day, we’re going to reach the our dream of seeing ALL these groups brought to new life like never before.
And I still got the hopes that even the other factions like Araby, Nippon, Kuresh and the others will be here someday as well.
So who knows: Hopefully things will go upwards from here! 😁
I'd love to see the Bonegrinder giant added to the Ogor and Greenskin rosters and the Khemric titan remains at the top of my wishlist

I'd love a Siege Giant and Magma Dragons for Chaos Dwarfs
I get that Thunder Lizards are lore-only & don't have any wrote-ups, but that means CA could be free to do some cool things with it.
I think the most feasible one is a Lizardman "Black Ark". It functions much the same: you can construct buildings, but also recruit units & move around the map. The difference is they are restricted to land - but they can also use a variant of underway to simulate simply walking over/through terrain obstacles like mountains & dense jungle, giving LM a much needed strategic advantage in Lustria. They can also besiege & bombard settlements, physically appearing outside the borders of the battlemap, & maybe charging in on a timer like the Spirit of Grungni. When a Thunder Lizard's army is destroyed, it's just assumed the Thunder Lizard itself shakes off its howadah & returns to the jungle. (a dedicated battlemap like the Black Ark one would be nuts if possible, just the two armies fighting on the back of a giant dinosaur)
Making it a traditional single entity unit seems unsatisfactory, & takes away some of the Dread Saurian's thunder (ho ho) as the LM's big monster unit. But if it was, I can see it being a hybrid siege tower, in that you can park it by a wall & extend the gangway while also pelting with Skink missile fire & Old One laser tech. Stupidly high HP & resistance from its sheer size, & while it does massive melee damage, its incredibly slow attack speed means you have to choose attacks carefully.
14:30 if/when we get the DLC with Nagash I could see these guys appearing especially if tomb kings get some love at the same time
Khemric Titan's lore feels similar to Terracotta Sentinels scattered around Cathay's map either as colossal statues that look back and forth or bigger ones sticking out of the ground.
the merwyrms should have been introduced in WH2 to be unlocked at the end of the vampire coast campaign and as a counterpart to the LM dreadsaurian, at least in the form of a regiment of renown merwyrm linked to manann in some way and having the regular unit available to HE. I bet they considered adding this unit at some point.. But hey, maybe the elven sea lord's DLC could fix this or maybe we can hope for some sort of big monsters- reasonably priced- DLC!

I am holding out hope for Chimera (Both as single entities for BM and Chaos as well as Chaos mounts, because yeah they were a mount option sort of in between Manticores and Dragons which sadly are also still missing from marked Lords), the imperial great dragon, and Norscan frost hydras.
Wish CA would update the Carmine Dragon with a head with unique horns and not just a High Elf copy with the fins taken off.
I want some more Tomb Kings. I love the tomb kings! That colossus would be awesome
I'll be honest, as a high elf player I never liked the Merwyrm as a high elf unit. It always screamed "dark elf unit" to me.

I wish Ca would not rest on the Tomb Kings were the best DLC, they are severely overlooked and abbandoned. We need new and overworked mechanics, new lords and Legendary Heros, new units to keep up with all the late WH2 and new WH3 units and mechanics.
Vampire counts. Empire(faith) and tomb kings sounds like an excellent themed dlc
Twisted & Twilight turned the Great Stag from a single large monster into a group of monstrous cavalry. They should do the same with a Preyton, making a it a hunting pack of flyers like Vargheists. That would make them feel unique than just a stronger Manticore. Or they could make the Preyton the size of a Kislev Snow Leopard, and have it act like an assassin.
I would watch a 3+ hour video of just Warhammer monsters
Imagine the khemri giga scarab getting the missile reflection spell as a bound spell.
I would like to see Bologs & Cachtor and Fengus, for the Faction that controls Albion.... As Legendary Mercenerays or something
Beastmen get something with every dlc! Also there is a Tilean Merwyrm - More hopeful for it to be in a Slaanesh-Vampire Counts-High Elves with the Sea Lord

I'd love to see official Colossadons and Thunder lizards for lizardmen, the modded ones from Lost Calm are cool but since they have to reuse animations can not be perfect. The Colossadon Rex of the mod is too jurassic park-ish too, something in line with the aesthetics of the other lizardmen monsters would be more appropriate.
Yeah the lack of the Tomb Beetle is a bit of weird on for the TKs. It was even in Chaosbane
I really want dark emmisaries and truthsayers. Hopefully a dogs of war DLC would be able to add them
The exotic monstrous units are why I got into this TW series and so enjoyed it. Never understand the hype over playing the relatively generic Empire, when factions like the Lizardmen, Vampire Counts and Dark Elves are readily available.
It's also a big part of why the prospect of Khuresh serpentfolk DLC so interests me. And I do have suspicions that Dechala might be used in combination with the DE Medusas to give CA the necessary skeletons for how to animate that faction's various different unit types.
These would all be perfect as set peaces for future dlcs
Peyton for a beastmen,
Cursed ettin for norsca,
Merwyrms would be perfact for a high elves,
Khemric titan for tomb kings,
Fenbeast would be perfact for a albion dlc of that where to ever happen but I guess dogs of war works aswell

I did not know about the speed of the Khemric Titan, or that it reached a record for giant monsters with 8 wounds. GW truly stopped giving a crap with balance for Monstrous Arcanum.
i wouldnt be apposed to some things from age of sigmar being intergrated into TWWH 3 i think most of the stuff if scaled down or given a diffrent in game model would work really well. like an expanded ghost's, ghouls and vampires from the death factions. you could implement most of the troll and goblin and giants from distraction. skaven are still as ratty as ever. some of the air ships and stuff from kredin overlords could be intergreated with out much issue.
most of the new chaos god sparific stuff could be used to expand on the chaos mono god factions gods know they need something to hault the order tide
if you changed the look of the werid ghost elfs from Sylaneth to be normal elves and tree people you could expand on the wood elves. and maybe you could use some of the stuff form the lumineth. sadly thats about it for order everything else like citys of sigmar more or less exiests in the old world or are to wakie
but i think if the game is going to have much more life porred into it then ca is going to have to create a few things form whole cloth

Of they would implement the Merwyrm I hope that they add an undead variant for the Vampire Coast to recruit!
I'd like to see the Truthsayer / Dark Emissary as mercenary heroes, and Fenbeasts as summon abilities for them.

Super cool. And yet, I can’t help but wonder if the game at this point really needs more monstrous SEMs.
Would like to add 2 more.... The one is a beastmen giant that was rumored to reach the skies i can't recall it's name... Read it once in the lore but i can't recall it's name. And the second one is a Cathay unit Celestial Dragon fortress or smth like that? Huge dragon turtles carrying whole cannons and other pieces of artillery ....

5:20 Southlands is not the empire, it is the jungles in the extreme south of the continent. You can also include Arabia and Nehekhara.
GW did TK ugly with the dragon (and the VC too). It not only breaks the lore, and is quite ugly, but they had a perfect good flying monster to use instead with the titan, or a variant. But "muh dragons are cool everyone gets a dragon".
The term Southlands and Southlanders is used historically to refer to anyone in the Empire as South of them. Anyone and everyone is a Southerner to a Norscan.

Honestly, if you wanted to make a video about all the remaining units that could be added that hasn't been thus far when you have a lull in content to make videos on, I'd watch that front to back probably a few times.

By the way dude, in regards to Stellaris, no one *really* gets that game. I have a couple thousand hours in it and still feel like an amateur.

Beastmen still have a TON of content left to add.... maybe 2 mid sized dlcs for Beastmen or one big COC style DLC for them, and they would be set.
The beastmen got more than enough free stuff with the last DLCs. Just see the monsters and marked Gors.
There‘re quite a few other factions that deserve dedicated DLCs, before CA should bring more stuff for the gross beasties

THB i dont really care about one massive monster type for DLCs. Massive single units sucks at attacking smaller unit though to the unit collision dmg impact doesnt really registrate.
Big monsters are cool but I like seeing a bunch of new units in the trailers

I wish naval battles were a thing in total war warhammer because id love having a black ark full of sea dragon riding dark elven warriors, but CA toooo lame and lazy
