The Lost Wild - Official Reveal Trailer | Annapurna Interactive Showcase 2022

- čas přidán 24. 08. 2024
- The Lost Wild appears to be some sort of survival horror game…featuring dinosaurs. Lots and lots of dinosaurs. We get a look at a first-person view of a dense jungle full of dinos, and a scared player character consulting a compass. There seem to be some serious Jurassic Park vibes though, too, as we see sections featuring modern technology, using a flare, lights, a white board, and more. No release date just yet, but you can wishlist now on Steam if you like.

What we wanted from a Jurassic park game for years
Instead we get mobile style building sims
@@troymurphy8165 jurassic world evolution isn't a mobile style game. It's a simulation type game and it's quite fun
@@ghostlegit operation gensis is stil better which is sad
This has absolutely nothing to do with the jurassic park franchise apart from the dinosaurs...
@@crazyassgamer1 Uh, not in a million years.
Someone is finally making a game like this that everyone has always wanted.
They're making a game that's somewhat original for once. It could've been a free to play first person shooter battle royale with microtransactions
It could literally be an ark clone for all we know
Ark?
@@Kscharmota "They're making a game that's somewhat original for once."
What is Dino Crisis??
Evrima is already this
This is what we’ve wanted from a Jurassic park game for years. This looks sick.
Instinction will be better than this hame
@@nate1735 Yeah who knows. They both look cool.
This is definitely a bot comment
@@nate1735 Instinctions an action adventure/shooter this is survival horror.
@@ecsix
Instinction is survivor horror too
The ammo is gonna be limited , and jumps scared and horror moments
This looks so much like alien isolation and I’m hyped for it
Alien Isolation with dinosaurs? Sign me up!
Yes omg why couldn't we have this for Jurassic World. Instead we get those microtransaction riddled mobile games and Park builders
Yeah like Alien Isolation but in a open world....at least it seems to be, hope so, gotta see the actual gameplay
Or next-gen Dino Crisis
Yea that smashing the red button sounds and looks familiar.
Name dropping Annapurna Interactive got me more hyped than the trailer itself. They have produced absolute bangers.
Seriously, some the best games came from this studio. Can't wait for this.
Ikr
Can you give me the name of some of those games
Annapurna is bascially Nepali term. It is the mountain range in Nepal
@@-DA-ONE- outer wilds and recently stray.
this looks incredible, 2022 is really the year to be a fan of dinosaurs, with Jurassic World Dominion, Prehistoric Planet, Jurassic World Evolution 2, Prehistoric Kingdom and now this!
Yeah! Maybe I'll put on my big girl pants and play a horror game for once. XD
Don't forget exoprimal
Don't forget Spidersaurs.
@@gokuandmario4ever That is happening?
And Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous season 5 and Primal season 2
Ahh yes a Dino crisis I’m old enough not to be terrified by, looks awesome.
relatable af
That first encounter was unforgettable.
Did we all just collectively play Dino crisis when we were a bit too young?
@@andrewreid7582 My little brain couldn't even comprehend the difficulty.
By the look of this trailer this might be a little bit scary
Being hunted by dinos is definitely a terrifying concept
king kong game did it
Trespasser, but without the flailing arm
Never played monster hunter world?
Ark:Hold my narcotics
There's tons of games like that
Being hunted by regular animals: pretty bad
Being hunted by dinosaurs: *f*cking terrifying*
Chad : nah this is routine
id love to see a game where you have to survive africa and its animals
I'm always seeing these trailers to a new dinosaur game but they never reach release
Annapurna Interactive is associated with so many amazing games. Outer Wilds, Stray, now The Lost Wild. They just never disappoint. I'm hyped for this game!
Can you believe it's an indian studios part
It's been a long time since iv seen a "horror" dinosaur single player-game, this might actually be fun.
Yeah we're finally getting a break from the millions of park builders that have come out instead of games like these, im SO TIRED OF PARK BUILDERS
Loving the accurate dino designs, they look great!
Finally. Dinosaurs are such a great theme to build your game around, yet not many devs decided to anything about them. Like we had tons of survival crafting games and some deathmatch FPS with dinos, 99% of them being shite. But this looks promising.
What.
Could become a big relevant game, looks amazing, definitly gonna play it.
Especially velociraptors. U can escape a trex. U can't escape a velociraptor.
Annapurna has been on fire lately with their games they funded and published neon white is definitely my favorite though absolute blast to play
@@ghostlegit that wasnt a t rex
@@exchangAscribe but there might be one in the game
Other than the dimorphodon folding its wings wrong and seeming to lack feathers (not sure though) this game seems very accurate
Pterosaurs didn't have feathers, but they had a hair-like covering that we refer to as pycnofibers. You're completely right about the wings though. The wing membrane around the lower limbs also look a bit awkward. Though I'm a fan of how they did that bigger theropod, especially the head. It has lips, baby!
Edit: it's an allosaur of some kind.
@@maaxorus no . yes :it is feathereds
Man, Annapurna is on a roll. Almost none of the games they release disappoint.
Looks like the forest, but dinosaurs instead of skin heads. Sounds cool to me
Skin heads? Didnt realise the cannibals in the forest were white supremacists 🤣
Thought Green Hell.
Three words, Ark Survival Evolved
@@ludens1472 ark is garbage
@@ludens1472
Nah, this looks better.
If the visuals, dinosaur AI and overall atmosphere in this trailer is truly indicative of the game, this could possibly be the spiritual Trespasser remake I've been hoping for.
It is wayyyyyyyyyy overdue!
Glad i'm not the only one getting trespasser vibes from this.
@@H_3_R_0- I'm getting Alien Isolation vibes too
Trespasser...takes me back to some of my favorite childhood memories.
So basically "The Lost World" with an Australian accent.
LOL 🤣
At least the game looks promising
that gate . 100% Dino Crisis 2 VIBE
Its better in third person
Looks like a game I've been craving. A combo between Alien: Isolation and Jurassic Park!
Now imagine this, but in VR
Some people will die from a heart attack if that becomes a thing
Whoever made this must be a huge fan of Jurassic Park: Trespasser.
The game that nobody remembers...
@@Rynax- There are several people in this thread that would probably argue you're utterly incorrect in that statement.
Trespasser is mostly remembered not for what it did, but for what it tried to do. The game had grand ideas.
However it was released at a time when hardware wasn't up to the task of the game's demanding physics, and first person games were still exploring methods of interaction. It may not be remembered that fondly, but it is certainly remembered.
is a cintifical acured game
This is giving me Peter Jackson King Kong vibes. Such an intense atmosphere in some parts of that game that genuinely had me scared as a kid haha
Now this, *This,* is what I’ve been wanting for years!
Annapurna is on a roll so far wow
the dinosaur designs are actually pretty decent! Jurassic world gave me low expectations on accurate dinosaur designs in media but this looks pretty cool!
This is what we expected the new trilogy of films to be like 😭
Id love a Jurassic park game with alien isolation vibes and mechanics.
Ian Malcolm : Oh, yeah. Oooh, ahhh, that's how it always starts. Then later there's running and um, screaming.
Woooow this looks CRAZYYYYY. Hopefully they bring out a pc DEMO. Can't wait
Imaging playing this in VR 💀
This is the The Most Anticipated Game for me!
Anyone remember how amazing the King Kong game was? This is looking like that
looks similar to Grin Hel, the way to use the compass, the environments
This should be called "Jurassic park, done right"
Let’s not compare dinosaur stuff that isn’t Jurassic Park to Jurassic Park tho…. That’s old….
This looks great for the winter nights.
LITERALLY this is exactly what we want in a dinosaur survival…FINALLY
That Dino sure knew how to ice skate!
Why does it always feel like I've seen many of the game assets before?
Because they're widely available nowadays compared to say, 25 years ago. Not shocking.
Best causes its an indie game, and indie games dont having the time and resource to spend millions on completly new assets
@@Spicydeluxecombo that aswell
Finally something about Dinosaurs!
Sorry Capcom, you lose your oportunity.
Hell yeah when they said we dont meed Dino Crisis any more we have Resident Evil they are nearly the same they fcked up.
RE8 was more about action most of the time they could have made an dino crisis that is more about surival horror and puzzles like the old RE was.
Now comming Jurassic Park Survival… What say you?
If they can adapt it for the VR2, it has the potential to be the best VR game ever-
alien isolation with dinosaurs! i'm in!
This game looks dope hope it will turn out amazing
Wow! It's like alien isolation but with dinosaurs! can't wait for this
Big companies doesn't listen to us but now hopefully this Dev team will pump out the style of games we really want :3
this is what we want from team jurassic park but the Annapurna team did it keep going!
The Annapurna "team" did not do anything. There's no team, they're a publisher. They're publishing the game that was already being developed by The Lost Wild's developer.
@@FuzzyDlop yeh my bad any way those who work behind this game , its looking awesome
This looks amazing too bad the release version won’t look like this
Annapurna rarely disappoint. Hopefully they don't downgrade this.
@@RaptorFaceRumble They will though. That happens with every game. Sad but true.
@@Dieselboy420 Nothing in this trailer is outwith the capability of CG artists or game designers even now, and they've still got a couple of years to finesse.
If they do this right it could be a big game
The setting of this game reminds me of Isla Sonar from Lost World and Jurassic Park 3. Isla Sonar is a second island where they breed dinosaurs to be shipped off to Isla Nublar for those who don't know.
The game everyone has been waiting for for about 25 years
I’m interested. Has potential to be a great, scary dinosaur game
I'm definitely gonna purchase it!
What were the settings?
What resolution, Graphics Card being tested?
4k ultra, 4090?
Stillll waitinggg
With game development lately, this is probably the games peak lop
Brings me back to the days of playing Trespasser, really hope this game is less buggy.
I'm just glad the arms on the dinosaurs are supinated
And we got lips on carnivores too
Plus an accurate positioning for Stegosaurus's tail?
Sign me up!
Wow... What a game! Consider me hyped!
Hands down best graphics Ive ever seen! My goodness. 💪
so hyped that this is only on steam tbh
This is pretty close the dinosaur game ive wanted for a long time
gonna wait for real gameplay. these early trailers always look so smooth but it doesnt always turn out like that or even close too it
Not how Annapurna trailers have ever been. Look at stray, outer wilds and the pathless.
Don't trust any trailer from the devs prior to this. But any with Annapurna involved are absolutely accurate trailers.
When does this release
Getting real "Trespasser" vibes here. About time someone made the JP game we've been wanting for 20 years
This actually looks awesome! Hoping it lives up to expectations.
The Forest mixed with The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Sign me right up
no . is a cintifical acured estile game
@@parakeorex absolutely no clue what you just typed.
This looks so freaking awesome. But I’ve heard it’s a PC exclusive, and I’m a console gamer. Damn.
Jurassic park and alien isolation hybrid?? Ooohh take my money!!
1:08 the Ian Malcolm strat
This looks amazing!!! 🦖🦕❤️
This looks amazing 😻
Scientifically accurate dinosaurs hunting me and possibly friends? count me in
Cool they used an Allosaurus than
T Rex we’ve seen to many t rexes in games, it’s nice to use different dinosaurs once in a while
Alien isolation but dinos? Im in 😆
Terrifying concept. Hopefully they can deliver.
The makers of ( Stray , what remains of edith finch , outer wilds , 12 minutes ) this is how you know this game will be a banger
Annapurna really likes the word "wild"
Shut up and take my money
Dino crisis vibe
That game was fun wish we could could get a remaster with updated controls tho
Annapurna studio is on the roll lately.
No idea if anyone played this - but there was a game on the GameCube called 'Turok Evolution'- the drums and music in this just remind me of that game.
Dinosaurs crisis new game please
Alien isolation vibes.
Trespasser remake....is that you?!?!
Cant believe it took this long for a dev to really make dinosaurs game that everyone have always wanted
This publisher can't make a bad game, stray was a brilliant success and now this!
What an amazing Jurassic Park game. Too bad Universal isn't backing this dev, they're doing an awesome job
Dino thumbnail caught my eyes but the name “Annapurna Interactive” caught all my attention. Excited for this one.
Annapurna at it again. This looks absolutely amazing
from the makers of cute cat games here comes the wild addition.
Kitties and Dinosaurs. Annapurna sure knows where is at
kitties ?
@@parakeorex Yes, with “Stray” :3
Some kind of Alien Isolation style first person game with dinosaurs would indeed have my money 💸
There's so much potential.. Lush forests, abandoned equipment, pan flute music! Would be hard not to make it feel like a JP clone though.
The story take in a secret faultily where Japanese scientists were studying these prehistoric creatures but something went horribly wrong, so now the surviving character needs to find some help or find a way out of this secret faultily without getting killing or eaten by any carnivorous dinosaurs.
Really hope this is available for xbox and not just pc/steam. I'm 31 and dinosaurs are still my most favorite things in the world.
Annapurna be popping off with these games
Love this trailer already in love with this game
Wait isn't this the same studio that did Stray? They been busy
Annapurna's been busy these past years. First Stray and now this!
They are a publisher. They don't really do much
