That paint job is amazing. This is what 3d printing is all about, love the mixed media approach. I wish more people would do it this way..
Thank you. At some point other prop makers will discover the magic of Cheetah filament!
These came out great!!!
These are awesome!
Well done! Thanks for taking the time to make this video. The amount of work that went into the gauntlets was already so much and then you went and took the time to make the video! you are an asset to the 3D printer community, CZcams and DIY crafters. Just fantastic! PS we love the idea of using the 3D printer pen for mending pieces together. Be blessed in all you put your hand to ~ Frederick & Jennifer
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the project!
No I haven't just yet actually. And you nailed it.
you deserve so many more subscribers.
These are looking sick - fantastic job, can't wait til we get to see this completed XD
Thanks. Long way to go yet!
Wow! that's cool, nice work.
Those turned out amazing!
Thanks!
This is seriously cool!
Glad you enjoyed it!
insanity looks great!
Thank you!
Wow they are amazing and sooo much work, the result is perfect. I am about to start and see if I can work out some print in place 3d printed fabric for dragon scales :)
Oooh that at sounds awesome!
I know they make flex agents for automotive paints (rubber bumpers everywhere) which might help a little bit but I'm not sure how it would react with the paint you are using.
Omg your awsome .. I love you .. Your the best
Hehe thanks!
good, thats realy awsome O.O
Thanks!
Is the movie Witch King of Angmar on Netflix?
Could we have an affiliate link for "filler primer"?
Added it to the list in the description and thanks.
They do look wicked. I'm starting to wonder if it is less work to make them out of steel.🤔
Daniel Kruger actually this is less work than steel
I think it's just that anything with 70 individually finished parts takes a while, whatever the material! :P But the finished pair, including gloves, weighs only about 500 grams, so that's a plus vs. steel.
Thomas Delgado I was mostly kidding.😊
Lindy Design Lab Steel would definitely be much heavier. Your gauntlets will move much more realisticly than steel would, on your skillful, petite hands. Once again that is a tremendous amount of work. 😊
Very, very cool. Unfortunately I have roughly about a 0.0000000000000001% chance of ever doing this, though I (insert infinity symbol)% want to. It'd be great if you could just order these & stuff like them from somewhere.
Lumen KingOfScarves Planning to do an improved version of the finished gauntlets for my shop once the new Automail is finished, so that will be an option in future :)
Great to hear! I'll make sure to simultaneously support you & look awesome by buying some!
Wow. Very nice. I would wear them all the time!!! 🙄
Might poke an eye out trying to eat pizza that way :p
Lindy Design Lab perhaps, but I would look so bad-ass eating it!!!!
Forgot to report on build tak flex plate. ITS AWESOME!! End of story on my build plate search.
Yay!
Looks like the one from Lord of The Rings
Pretty close, although there are things I'd like to change in a future version.
Gauntlets arent pritinting they are form from metal
Just don't wear them into battle and you'll be ok.
nicely done... but I must say I find it annoying when the whole point of a 'educational' youtube video is to sell crap....
Glad you enjoyed it. Some viewers prefer to skip the time required to design stuff from scratch, so I offer the kit.
