Chase Leighton I was at that game and saw the ejection. That's when I wondered if he would straighten out or not. I bet you didn't know that that was actually one of the games they had to make up because of the riots.
The only way you can get ejected immediately is an equipment violation which means throwing the bat or helmet.....words may trigger an umpire but you won’t get tossed immediately unless it’s a personal remark or “you”reference
There's an automatic fine for an ejection (basically pocket change for a MLB player, but still). So basically a money grab for MLB 😂 (though I think the fine money goes to a charity but I'm not 100% sure about that)
3:22 It is impossible to exaggerate how biased and bad of a day ol' Vic had on Canada Day at Rogers Centre...I almost never feel this way about pro officials in any sport, but he clearly had a bias against the Jays that day....
Are you saying it was a great calling the pitch a strike, or tossing Holt? If it's the pitch, I disagree it was a "great" call on the pitch, that could have gone either way from our angle looking at the video. If Holt was arguing the call, he's stupid, it was too close and could have gone either way, as I said, so very foolish if he's arguing with West on this particular call. But if Holt was simply mad at himself and not arguing with West, then West was wrong to toss him. Guys are going to get tossed if they get in the ump's face, but umps are way too sensitive if a batter is simply expressing anger at himself (unless he throws equipment, at which point he's probably going to be gone regardless of the reason). But there are too many prima donna umps and too many prima donna players in MLB.
The dream umpire crew - Bob Davidson, Joe West, Angel Hernandez, and a fourth to be named later.
elshpen oh there's tons of candidates. Laz Diaz and CB Bucknor come to mind right off the bat (pun intended)
ruffo coyote
Harper
Puig
Vic Carapazza
CB Bucknor
@ruffo coyote what about the guy who threw his bat at the umpire after getting tossed?
“You can’t do that, Manny. You just can’t do that.”

You can’t do that, Joey. You just can’t do that.
But he's Manny F***ing Machado
My favorite one
The missed pitches you can understand why you get upset, but there’s no excuse to lose your cool on the close ones.
6:28 ref ejects him after the game is over
Isaac Lewis you cant play the next but it is called Umpire nit ref
"It's the principle of the thing."
Love how they scream so loud, that you can hear them curse 😂
Napoli was literally hopping mad

Drawing a line in the dirt showing the path of the ball is also an instant ejection.
Rendon that pitch went right around the plate. NOT OVER!!!!
I’ve noticed Bryce Harper is a very angry man a lot of times.
I was expecting Varitek to appear first.
Paul O’Neil’s temper was legendary
I miss baseball a lot
So do I, so do i
Don't we all?
Now with this pandemic it’s more missable :(
Torii Hunter shows frustration after striking out at bat.
Man, Bryce Harper loses his cool really easily.
Bryce Harper further demonstrating "where the strike zone is" 🤣
How have I never seen that russel clip before with the pirates. That was bad on a whole ‘nother level.
A lot of these are players arguing correct calls:
0:00
0:33
1:06
1:33
1:53
3:10
3:55
5:13
5:35 (all pitches in at-bat correct)
5:51
6:56
Bryce Harper always gets criticized for his attitude. His attitude would be a question mark if I had to draft him today.
1:34 Looks like a strike to me
Wow that pitch to Russell Martin on the Pirates that ball was way down on the ground . How do you call that a strike?
Awful call
You never see Rizzo get so angry in the MLB that’s just ridiculous
Martin, you were right. Low and inside!!!! Bad ump
Wtf oneill got ejected twice
3:59 & 5:37 My most favorite ones of all
I’ve got one question. What does ejecting someone after the game do?
There's an automatic fine for an ejection (basically pocket change for a MLB player, but still). So basically a money grab for MLB 😂 (though I think the fine money goes to a charity but I'm not 100% sure about that)
Terracazza ------------is he from around here?
The holding back is so annoying in MLB like when has an ump ever been hit, why are we holding dudes back like its about to be a fist fight
DON'T WATCH THE CATHERS GLOVE!!!!!! watch the plate like you are supposed to,
Bryce those all were strikes buddy
a lot of these look like strikes
0:45 - That hair looks ridiculous.
Many of these are third strikes in an effort to move the game along to the official 4.5 innings. Rain starts, game official.
3:22 It is impossible to exaggerate how biased and bad of a day ol' Vic had on Canada Day at Rogers Centre...I almost never feel this way about pro officials in any sport, but he clearly had a bias against the Jays that day....
Low and outside. Ump is no good.
Harper,Martin,Napoli,
they all against umpires for
reputations
joe west made a great call on the first one

Joe West doesn't make great calls ever.
If anthony rizzo is mad at you he's probably right he's one of the nicest guys in baseball
Leave it to Bryce Harper to get ejected after striking out...SWINGING
5:19 ok the other calls I can understand, but how the FUCK is that a strike???
Sup
자격미달이 너무 많아
this one's a good one damn. poor little crybabies. it's usually the AL too 👀👀👀
VOTTO BUMPING THE UMP IM YELLING
Problem is there is no repercussions for the umpire when they are wrong.
outside my corner my butt.
Come on Man! Jesus Christ!
f tori hunter
Love you vids second
100th like
Is it just me but is Bryce Harper one of the most self entitled babies in the game
Little league upmires.
first
Haha rusters
Joe West is an awful umpire so glad he retired
3 reasons why the Astros don't want Harper
That pitch was perfect too. What a clown
The umpire only yells back bc he feels safe around all those people one on one they wouldn’t scream back or keep chirping
Strikes should be allowed to be argued or the player at bat should be allowed to knock out the ump for bullshit calls.
Lol yes
WHY has officiating gone to absolute SHIT in EVERY SPORT?
