Never had the Ultra 1 but I picked up the Ultra 2 and I love it.
Got the ultra 2 about 3 weeks ago I’ll be honest I was gonna go with the ultra to save money because they looked identical but T-Mobile didn’t have it so I decided to get the ultra 2 and I’m glad I did that extra storage brighter screen and new chip makes it seem worth it I’m really enjoying it especially the design when I switch the bands and watch face it makes it seem like a different watch battery is great I get about 3 days with about 30% left
The double tap is more than enough with accessible. If you have Ultra Watch 1 , it’s very simple Don’t Upgrade!! Apple needs to do more for your money! Like add BP Monitoring, or New Design with better battery life! Don’t be Sucker in if you have an ultra 1!
When you upgrade from Ultra 1 to Ultra 2, you can get a $380 trade-in value which helps alleviate the cost upgrade of being on the latest hardware.
You only gonna notice the difference in brightness under the sun, and you only gonna notice the difference in chip power in CPU intensive apps

I think the brighter display is more for the flashlight than anything, iPhones aren’t even 2000 nit at peak
