This is SOOO good. Honestly. I wish everyone would get their ego out of it and watch it. It's so much better than the preview let's on. It's actually layered and nuanced, much like his standup ... There's plenty of ridiculous jokes about left/right perspectives...but the entire point is finding the connection and meaning in the middle. Let go of preconceived opinions and laugh at this ridiculous world, but also open your mind a little bit and see if your heart and mind don't have a little moment or two among the laughs. Comedy isn't meant to protect feelings, but if you are open minded and light hearted enough you might find a lot of connection and understanding of other perspectives. The acting is phenomenal, the characters instantly hook you, and the writing is insanely realistic and at times intense. I didn't want it to end, would love a series! Bill Burr so more, excellent work. Love, an empathetic tree hugging hippie who understands the power of middle ground! Here's to anger management, respecting others, and giving everyone room at the table...even white Old Dad's.

Watching Bill's latest stand ups, and the way he gradually started writing more and more elaborate, movie-like jokes and scenes (Gorilla story, Helicopter story, shrooms trip story) I knew he would eventually make something like this.
    Can't wait to watch it!

Bill Burr is the Melbec to my cheese board. His stand-up is second to non, and I put him up there with Richard Pryor, Murphy, and Rock. Old Dads has made me cry with laughter tonight. Cheers Bill, hope you do another UK tour soon

I do appreciate the fact that media tried to instantly promote this movie as the most unfunny thing ever lol just goes to show anytime somethings actually good or anytime some thing is simply itself media will say it is the opposite if they don’t like it😂 this movie was funny as hell I highly recommend watching it
