Mind if I ask how much you paid for the 8.8 and maybe just the city you found it. I am having similar problems finding one. Years ago I was buying complete units for $100 grabbing the shafts out of them and throwing the rest to scrap. Crazy how things have changed.
Had maxx ecu on my 700hp Volvo 242 2jz , bmw zf transmission and explorer rear with a spool 😄 but had to weld over ford 9" outers and use 9" bearings to eleminate te c-Clips . Then turn down the axles because the are to Big for the 9" bearings . Looking foreard to see your take on the axle 🥳🥳
I'm also in WI, in Washington co, also with a turbo ranger. Small world. I don't understand why you the Maxx ecu instead of megasquirt though. Seems way more expensive for what you get.

325 Beaver Dam. Puke, lol. One Yard I talked to say they don't carry anything older than 2002 anymore. Sheesh.
