Can you buy tickets on the train? Does the hotel have a luggage room that you dropped your bags off in the morning
Hi there! I recommend getting your train tickets ahead of time. I used Trainline and it was great because it keeps you up to date if there are any delays etc plus if you're using the train to visit different cities in Italy, all your trips are saved in one place.
