While the risotto at Al Getto Nero is one of the best things I've ever eaten I can tell you it is NOT made with béchamel sauce, how do I know? We were invited into the kitchen to watch the chef make an order. The risotto is made with a unique fish stock made from the gobby fish from the lagoon and nothing else. Yes it is amazing risotto, just not made with bechamel.

The roads, the locals, the real places. However, if you're lucky enough to get on a good tour with good people, that is a priceless experience. That torture dungeon looks like fun! LOL Gladiator is one of my favorite films! So cool! Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is my all time favorite wine so seeing the town makes me so happy!
