no, I use my bass drum foot too for timing, like the left foot does on the hi-hat

@@MMM-tv4xr honest answer: I got a new kit, it doesn't have the same sounds as the td-12 I used to own has, on a subconscious level it has put me off somewhat and affected my enthusiasm for playing, although getting back to doing covers is still on my list of goals so I'm workin on trying to push through it by tweaking the kit sounds etc. the kit volume is also lower than my previous kit (or I'm getting more deaf) so it's hard to get lost in the music when I can't get good levels with the music and the drum sound, I bought an external mixer to try to combat this problem, so to sum up: I'm not dead yet :)

Hey bro. Honest question: how do you avoid your video being taken down because of “copyright” claim? Every time i upload a cover it gets taken down almost immediately. Help a brother out! Thanks man. Love the cover!!
I wait to either be punished by CZcams (it’s happened twice in the past, 2 strikes at different times) or CZcams just flat out doesn’t let upload something, to know something is copyrighted, I don’t know of any way to avoid it, I just upload and roll the dice, the difference between you and me is that maybe CZcams has gotten better at detecting music since I started uploading, for example: I did a cover of bat out of hell, uploaded it and got no flak, but a few years later I got a message from a fellow drummer telling me he couldn’t upload his version of it, frustrating for him because my version is sitting on CZcams just fine, no bother. I don’t know how they apply their rules, maybe you might be lucky with some covers where your recorded drums are loud enough to block the music detection software CZcams has to detect copyrighted music. I also put a bullshit disclaimer in my description box, I can’t imagine it makes any difference. The only stuff that commonly gets blocked with me are artists that are notorious for blocking on CZcams, Prince, the eagles, etc.
Sometimes you can dispute it, but that’s just a stay of execution really, because they always come back with some variant of “we’ve double checked and no you definitely can’t use this”

I don’t know if it’s worth uploading to CZcams anymore, the algorithm doesn’t favor the little guy like it once did, my recent videos, either my subs hate me or CZcams is burying me 😂😂 someone just starting out now, good luck getting eyeballs on you….pffff

you play well but a tip step on the pedal further your foot you have it too much on the pedal there you lose a little rhythm
