You should do a video about the boy band menudo
Loosing your daughter to your son it's the worst.
They are terrifying! Some sad!
You made a comment about how you couldn't tell where the opinions of the directors lie in the film Jesus camp. That's what makes it so good. That's how all documentaries should be.
none of these documentaries are as disturbing as Capturing the Friedmans.
Dear Zachary is one of the most infuriating films ever made. The fact that the Canadian judicial system let a suspected murder have unrestricted access to her child and the inevitable happened.
Everyone who allowed that to happen has Zachary's blood on their hands and should live in SHAME.
I agree. I was crying so hard by the end and very angry too. Thinking about Zachary and his grandparents tear me up when I hear the tragic story spoken about.
Just when you think it can't get worse...
And I mean the situation. The documentary really drives home the multiple fuck ups in the Canadian justice system.
This documentary affected me perhaps more than any other--and I've seen a ton of them. The grace of Andrew Bagby's parents is almost unimaginable given the circumstances they lived through.
I knew what had happened and was still haunted by this documentary. Still am to this day, if I’m honest.
NONE of these documentaries are as disturbing as Capturing the Friedmans.
Honorable mention: Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey. A horrific documentary about Warren Jeffs and the FLDS church. It’s horrible. Jeffs had multiple wives under the age of 14 with whom he recorded their marital consummation. Among other things.
I have to agree. I felt so unsettled after watching that docuseries
I agree it made me sick.
I think I watched that on CZcams. It was messed up.
Churches are honestly terrifying with all that happens in them..
Sick. Sick. Sick.
What Gypsy’s mother did to her is absolutely monstrous and evil. Gypsy shouldn’t have killed another human being but it’s hard not to sympathize with her.
She didn't kill her Mother, the boyfriend did it.
she should’ve. you don’t understand. as a kid who fell almost deadly ill with an undiagnosed chronic illness at 7.. you have no idea what it’s like being forced to have a feeding tube and other medical devices at that age.. let alone knowing deep down you don’t need them …. like ma’am she literally made doctors do SURGERY on a perfectly healthy child… if you have had any experience with a kid with bad health that would infuriate you how dare they put a healthy child through torture
@meemew88 not only that but her mother was trying to kill her step mother. She kept poisoning her and she spoke at gypsy trial saying she doesn't Blame her for killing her mom.
Horrific abuse by a compulsive liar. I think that the daughter has managed to deal with everything so well is amazing.
I think 2 years should have been the maximum for her to be in prison.
She was always the victim, a confused victim. Her mother a sick, selfish monster who tried every lie possible to destroy her daughter from having any kind of life.
Dear Zachary made me cry so much. That one and the Gabriel Fernandez one stayed with me for weeks after watching them. Abducted in plain sight just made me so furious. How neglectful were those parents?
Neglectful? Try complicit.
I watched and read dear Zachary in high school for film studies and it made the whole class disturbed. I’m a mom now and I refuse to watch Gabriel Fernandez documentary
the Gabriel Fernandez doc was just awful. I'm still thinking about it
They weren’t neglectful, those parents willfully contributed to the abuse.
NONE of these documentaries are as disturbing as Capturing the Friedmans.
The "I need relief" thing from Abducted in Plain Sight was ridiculous.... Those parents were terrible too, they werent even convicted of neglect right?
They were downright stupid
Abducted in plain sight was so crazy it took me a couple days to get through it cuz I couldn't understand how 2 adults could be so fucking stupid
Both mom and dad had an affair with him and was too concerned about that getting out. It was too much for my spirit
They knew what was happening. They traded their daughter for sex. They weren’t stupid; they were complicit and evil.
That was a disgusting watch. I couldn't wrap my head around the parents being so willfully complacent for their own pleasure. The fact that she ended up forgiving her parents was equally wild to me. They'd never see me again.
"There's Something Wrong with Aunt Diane" is definitely one of the more disturbing documentaries I've seen, just because the family refused to admit that maybe the "perfect Diane" compartmentalized things a little too much and it became overwhelming, leading to hidden alcoholism which lead to the crash. A bit of a warning: They show photos of Diane's body that were taken at the scene of the crash, but not the children thankfully.
Agree most documentaries don’t sicken me but this one did one of the most disturbing documentaries I have ever seen without a doubt😰😟😟😥😧😦🫢
Oh ok thanks for sharing all the spoilers.
@@zigman3105 Trust me, I’d rather have had the warning and otherwise there aren’t any spoilers in the comment. It is disturbing - it stayed with me for months.
I have sympathy for gypsy rose Blanchard. I don't agree with her killing her mother but this documentary does show how horrible her life had to be and her mom's treatment of her developing mind and body led to the tragic destruction of their lives.
you could look at killing her as self defense
The fact that she's happier in prison because she finally has some control over her life says a lot!
I said it before nd I will probably say it forever: She does not need to be in prison. She needs therapy for the rest of her life.
That documentary mad me so angry!
It sickens me that no one could have helped her beforehand
Abducted in Plain Sight is easily one of the creepiest documentaries I’ve ever watched, but also one of the best. I feel so sorry that that poor girl had to be abducted twice before her parents saw that Robert Berchtold was a predator.
The dad saw it after the first time but the mom didn’t. She even put her daughter on a plane to “work” for him for the summer. Though I don’t know why her dad didn’t immediately go to get her back.
@@hydrokineticpowerhouse that mom either sounds like she’s super trusting or just super stupid
I no right! Those parents were creepy as hell, they were weird! The whole story was just down right weird. Like just the way they talked and explained things, ud think they were just talking to a neighbour or a friend, not talking about their daughter’s kidnapping, twice!! They just seemed calm, like there was no real emotion, i honestly couldn’t fathom how more shocked I was at the parents behaviour them the actually story! I felt so sorry for the daughter!
They knew. They both had relations with him. They turned a blind eye to protect their reputation.
@@hydrokineticpowerhouse Dad just needed "a release".
Dear Zachary had me RAGE CRYING, as did The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez, and ‘The Family I Had’ was both disturbing and pulled at your heartstrings for the poor child and her mother.
The aliens were the LEAST weird part of “Abducted in Plain Sight!”
That is true, I actually forgot aliens were mentioned in it.
I remember my mouth hanging open the entire time. That doc was insane.
for real
I would have rather been abducted by aliens than fool with his ugly stupid azz.
Dear Zachary is the most upsetting emotional rollercoaster I’ve ever seen
none of these documentaries are as disturbing as Capturing the Friedmans.
100% and so so disgusting what the courts of Canada let happen.
I’ll never understand how that cannibal man is free.. It really disturbs me how Japan lets a man who KILLED AND ATE A WOMAN just walk around like it’s nothing, and he’s even seen a celebrity almost for it…
Japan honestly concerns me sometimes..
He died in 2022 so thankfully he’s not around anymore. From what I remember, there was a mix up between French and Japanese procedures where the French couldn’t hand over any evidence because they sealed it due to him being declared insane so no real case was ever created and without that, Japan had nothing to work with to convict him either. His wiki covers it a bit better than I did on the legal inconsistencies.
I don't find it surprising about Japan. They let a bunch of boys get away with torchering a teenage girl for 45 days and killing her
If you really want to get your blood boiling, look into the Junko Furude case. I'd advise against reading the details of her torture if you're squeamish. But the aftermath of her murder makes me unspeakably angry.
The documentary basically said France wanted him out of the country as soon as possible and Japan, a country that has a 99.9% guilty conviction, couldn’t try him because he didn’t commit the crime on Japanese soil.
But if you watch Interview With A Cannibal, you pretty much see the man in a decrepit state. His family is all dead, he has no money, and he’s spent his life alone with no sense of true happiness. And he died that way too. It’s honestly sad, but it’s what he deserved. He never paid for his crimes in jail after all.
Girl in the Picture deserves a mention!
At least in the top 5! That whole thing was creepy af.
Oh man YES !
Definitely. Watched it like 3 times already 😢
Room 237 was in no way "creepy". Just a bunch of conspiracy theories (sometimes funny) about the movie The Shining.
Right! I felt like the people that put this documentary together really needed more hobbies in their lives.😅
I wish you had included photos of Shirley Turner in the segment about Dear Zachary. Those who have never watched the documentary will think that the photos you show of Andrew and his former fiance Heather (the photos of him in his cap and gown) are photos of Turner. Usually, I could care less about misinformation, but Shirley Turner was a monster who doesn't need to be mistaken for Heather Arnold.
The parents from Abducted in Plain Sight used their daughter to keep that man in their life because they were BOTH smitten with him.
Nobody can tell me otherwise
💯 I agree completely! They KNEW.
Well the dad gave him a hand job and the mother slept with him so yeah lol
Yes they both had relations with him and wanted to protect their reputation.
The moment I saw the title, I thought "Jesus Camp". Glad to see it on here and ranked so high.
Cropsey is in my hometown of Staten Island. Those buildings are still abandoned to this day and creepy as hell.
"Dear Zachary" is probably the saddest thing I have ever seen.
The Netflix documentary „the girl in the picture“ was quite disturbing too
I’ll never ever forget dear Zachary it was the first time I openly and loudly sobbed at something on TV. I will never ever watch it again. The one with the lady and the apples was pretty disturbing too
It was just that I watched dear Zachary by accident like I had no idea what it was
The husband from “There’s something wrong with aunt Diane” is absolutely infuriating. The way he treated his one surviving child was deeply disturbing and his flat out refusal to accept that his wife was an alcoholic (he is too), that killed his own child, nearly the other child, his 3 nieces and the 3 other innocent people she hit is so frustrating.
I don’t blame Diane for drinking if that’s what she had to deal with. Dude is a prick. Of course, she NEVER should’ve gotten behind the wheel. I’m not excusing her terrible choices. At all.
I just can’t stand the husband. Or the sister in-law. They are both trash. They never even said they were sorry about what Diane, their loved one, did. They just kept trying to deflect responsibility and it was just so gross.
I hope Michael is doing okay, now, and that he’s FAR away from his dad
People like the dad outnumber people like us
The dad was so in the dark about everything.
Exactly, the two of them refused to accept what Diane had done. They kept trying to find a "real" reason. When they tried to say she had an abscessed tooth, it was them gripping at straws.
@@sandraweilbrenner67 he was in denial.
Well get ready to hate him more. I read up on what happened after the documentary. He sued the family of the people that died. Yes. HE SUED THEM! Thrown out if recall. Like how dare you man! Your wife caused that wreck and you’re suing the family of the people killed! Go to hell dude!
Dear Zachary, The Bridge, and There’s Something Wrong with Aunt Diane were soul crushing to me. 😭
I watched "Jesus Camp" with my parents a while back. That movie is very disturbing. To be fair, my family is not religious. We are atheists, so we did watch the movie with bias, but watching those kids cry because they believed they were "sinners," that was just heartbreaking.
@@BPEJS24-7 There are about 45,000 denominations of Christianity worldwide. What, exactly, is a proper representation of actual Christianity?
I'm guessing it's whatever version you believe.
I’m pro Jesus but it’s too much for me
You need to understand that it is a sect and not a religion per se. It's in the same suit as the Manson Family, Jim Jones, and a few others.
@@mariec.albuquerque6446 The Peoples Temple was a cult, not a sect.
The Bridge left me feeling physically ill, & seeing it show up here brought back that same feeling. Don’t watch it if you’re down.
1. Dear Zachary, I get chills thinking about it. The most real, sad, shocking film/ documentary I've ever seen. It broke my heart but it is a must see.
2. Abducted in Plain Sight, spoiler alert the kidnapper had sexual relations with the little girl he abducted, plus her mother, plus her father, and her parents didn't give a shit! I'm still so infuriated with the parents. Straight bullshit.
NONE of these documentaries are as disturbing as Capturing the Friedmans.
@@johnrunion5357 I haven't seen it!
@@eliseoretro4407 check it out. also watch in a town this size about a small town's pediatrician who committed crimes against children for decades. you will never look at a 1950's style cat clock the same ever again.
Dear Zachary is deeply sad. I remember the last time I watched it and it's impossible not to feel a mix of revulsion and anger, especially when the mother shows up. And this other one you mentioned... I'm speechless.
"Dear Zachary" .... Never got over it.
Devastating. I’m still not over it either
Titicut Follies was actually only strictly used for teaching purposes in college level Psychology classes. I saw it in the early 2000's in class and had to sign a waiver/release to not discuss details
I saw it in a Psych class in 1984. No waiver required. I saw it not too long ago on CZcams.
Paradise Lost is also very disturbing but really captivating. I believe it has 3 parts so maybe that's why it wasn't put on the list, but it tells the story of the Memphis 3. I'll never forget that doc, horrifying.
NONE of these documentaries are as disturbing as Capturing the Friedmans.
That documentary showed the little boys dead bodies in horrific
poses. There was no warning.
Im quite hardcore with docs and love horrors, im not easily shocked but the Gabrielle Fernández doc got my head in a spin. I had to watch it in sections and i couldnt get him off my mind for a blooming long time. It was the mothers day card he had done for his mum that really got me. He thought she was so beautiful and he loved her so much even after all she had done to him. That hurt like no other..
Agreed! I don't find many of these documentaries shocking or difficult to watch, but that one was like a repeated punch to the gut. I couldn't stop thinking about what was done to that poor, sweet little boy either for a long time afterwards.
That doc broke my heart! I cried for hours after watching it, it really affected me afterwards, just the sheer cruelty of it. Sickening and shocking!
Tell me about Gabrielle Fernandez..?!!
I said "who's grabrielle Fernandez?" I looked him up and saw the boys face and recognized him from his case, I got chills immediately, having a baby daughter nope that's one Documentary I can't do...
Same with me. When they showed that card I cried so hard. Gabriel's documentary still haunts me and is the most heartbreaking I've ever seen.
I've never cried from a documentary the way I cried with "Dear Zachary"
Dear Zachary makes me feel sick to my stomach. The justice system utterly failed that family.
Abducted in Plain Sight was nuts. I’ve watched it twice and it was hard hitting the second time. I forgot how disturbing it was. Robert Birchtold was a terrible person.
Him having a manipulative sexual relationship with the mother AND father, was mind boggling!! Robert was an expert on picking out victims for sure!
@@vayoha02o true. It was creepy to hear the father be manipulated into…relieving Robert Birchtold.
NONE of these documentaries are as disturbing as Capturing the Friedmans.
I clicked on this video to enjoy some morbid, creepy scares. But i feel horrible for that now. This was gut wrenching and devastating to watch. I wish all the heartbroken family members and survivers all the hope and happiness the world has to offer. Hopefully they can find peace
I physically cannot watch Dear Zachary, I started it never finished. That poor precious baby
One definitely missing from this list is "Tickled"... The actual act of getting the documentary made is the main drive as they have to fight a subject that is constantly threatening them, all the while more and more disturbing details are discovered... Very tense and well worth the watch
Tickled was CRAZY. I was like wtf the entire time over and over
What is it about?
@@vayoha02 Without too much spoiling (and you don't want it spoiled) a New Zealand journalist who specialises in unusual stories, hears about the sport of "Competitive Tickling" and decides to investigate further. When he's met with legal threats, that makes him want to look closer.
@@raybearoz Those words combined end up making the film surprisingly intriguing. Good job. I have no idea how cautious I should be going in.
You know it's bad when "Holy water" is replaced by Nestlé bottled water 🤣
Just as powerful
I’ve gone through a lot of the medical procedures that gypsy rose went through but that’s because I actually need them to survive. That didn’t make it any less painful to go through and I couldn’t imagine having freedom and having all that taken
How did Capturing the Friedmans not make the list?!
Exactly!
Same thought. That one really stayed with me, to the point I rewatched it not that long ago. Very creepy.
"Wisconsin Death Trip" is really fascinating. It is a glimpse into rural life in the 1890's but all the craziness isn't limited to just one area of one state. It shows how the isolation of farms and small towns can affect the residents and magnify mental illnesses. Every state from the Great Lakes westward has its "Death Trip". Wisconsin was the focus because of the huge cache of photos found in the basement of a photographer's studio. He was determined to capture everyday life in addition to commissioned work in his small town. The photos have no relation to the stories, but could.
It's the name of a Static-X album too.
Capturing The Friedmans and Cult Killer should have been on here. Cult Killer was so disturbing I almost couldn't get through it.
Capturing the Friedmans disturbed me in a way I can’t quite describe.
Capturing the Friedmans definitely should have made the list!

What I came to the comments section for, thank you!
@@marshanemiller1987 They're all time-stamped anyway.
Thank you for the list.
Which one do you recommend we watch first?
After Dear Zachary, I needed therapy.
I didn't expect what happened. I didn't read the synopsis
I don't remember the movie's name, but I remember watching a documentary on the 2004 Beslan school hostage crisis a while back, told primarily through interviews with the children who had survived the event. It was really intense.
It's called Children of Beslan, and it's on youtube to watch.
that's an amazing doc - I forgot that one
I was so angry during and after Jesus Camp. Those poor innocent children being brainwashed, just sickening.
Yeah and that's what the right is trying to do to all of America.
I mean all religion no matter what form it is is technically a form of brainwashing
It's straight-up child abuse, is what it is.
Absolutely disgusting.
Brainwashed? Oh.
The Imposter has a twist within a twist... at first, you believe that the French guy is the only monster in the doc but then...
Yes! Like you slowly start seeing the cracks behind the story being told and body language
2 things,
I was NOT ready for Dear Zachary, just whoa
And Poor Diane.. as a former drinker and watching this docu, and people being so puzzled as to just how diane could of drank if she never drank?
I can tell you as someone who was embarassed to be a heavy drinker, NEVER, EVER underestimate just how slickly and subtly people can consume alcohool, especially when you ARE trying to hide it...people always find ways..
Feel terrible for the whole family and all those involved.
It's "could have," not "could of."
@@Steppenwolf27Shouldn't have
Poor Diane? I’m sorry I can’t feel sympathy for her. She purposely killed those children.
@@wcolautti yeah it's a tough one..
Dee Dee Blanchard was a very sick woman who made her daughter very I'll. I kind of think the daughter was justified to save her own life . Munchausen by proxy is no joke and the people suffer greatly.
Dear Zachary devastated me.
Abducted in Plain Sight is easily one of the most enraging documentaries I’ve ever seen…
"Just Melvin, Just Evil" could've been on this list. It's disturbing watching that family cope w/ a patriarch who molested all the kids in the family, & committed murder.
Abducted in plain sight makes me so angry. It wasn't "a different time". Her parents just failed Jan really badly. They cared more about their reputation than their daughter's safety.
I have another idea for a video...
How about a list of lesser known relatives of famous actors/artists.
Like Donald Swayze and William Mapother. They were both on Criminal Minds. 😊
Thanks for another great video
the most disturbing part of abducted in plain sight is the neighbor manipulated, abused, and assaulted THE ENTIRE FAMILY (excluding the other children). mom, dad, and daughter were all his victims.
Thanks for all these great recommendations! I'm going through this comment section compiling a list of docs to watch
"Dear Zachery" is one of the saddest documentaries.
I went to a private catholic girls school in Australia, my awesome teacher who was only eight years older than us and the dux of religion from his own private school, showed us Jesus camp, and I’ve had my mind made up since.
Brilliant man to let us see that.
It was a terrifying watch.
That documentary "theres something wrong with aunt diane" literally traumatized me. Crazy how in denial that family is. Scary situation altogether. Alot of loss. It was alot. Then they showed the pics🤦♂️
Another one i seen here on YT that traumatized me. "you asked to see the monster" this one is probably worse idk. Its sad.
I’m not easily shocked but the act of killing documentary really bothered me mentally and emotionally. It was just sick. It was shocking how those men acted. They didn’t even care that they’ve got got blood on their hands, they seemed proud of their actions!
A takeaway from that Docu was, near the end of the docu, after the "recreations" you can sort of see the guy like "so wait,..i guess what we did was pretty horrific after all eh.." a surreal docu
@@dan7291able definitely! X
Paradise Lost should have been included.
Room 237 "A bunch of conspiracy theorists circle jerking to death over Kubrick's intentional mistakes."
"He didnt mix up the floor plans! It was a criticism of native american genocide!"
Or when they say that the letter inbox on the interviewer's desk makes it look like he has an erection when he is about to meet Jack Nicholson. What??
Right, there is definitely nothing wrong with film analysis and what-ifs, but Room 237 is so bootleg. Just people with bad sound mixing abilities insisting that their conspiracy theories are the only truth of it
I mean...maybe it was? I mean Kubric is a weird fella. Who knows why he does the things he does.
Yeah, for the last one of these documentaries, this girl’s parents failed her in monumental proportion. It was pretty sad and pathetic. On the parents part.
"... Aunt Diane" is such a sad movie. Heartbreaking.
They should make Another 10 Creepiest documentaries and include The Trials of Gabriel Hernandez and 11: House of Secrets on it.
Dear Zachary was so sad
That picture of Andrew Bagby with "Shirley Turner" is actually him with his former fiancé who was completely heart broken when Andrew was murdered. It's kind of misleading to not even show one photo of the actual Shirley Turner.
not to mention the reason the documentary is so disturbing is that halfway through filming it, shirley killed herself and zachary in a murder-suicide.
this is my type of documentaries , thanks!
They don't discuss how Zachary's mother drowns herself and Zachary at the end. The mere thought of that documentary emotionally destroys me, and I am not very emotionally expressive person.
‘Dear Zachery’ is gut wrenching. One of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen. Do not recommend watching because you will never recover.
Would add ‘Goodnight, Sugar Babe: The Killing of Vera Jo Reigle’ to this list. That case still bothers me.
I'd forgotten all about Goodnight, Sugar Babe and how fucked up that was.
I think Gypsy Rose should be released from prison because she deserves to be free, and you shouldn’t be arrested for k!lling the person who harassed you and mistreated you your whole life..
She committed a crime. If released, the judicial system would not make as much sense and would be a precedent for others to claim the same. What happened to her was absurd, but it doesn't change the fact that she planned a murder along with her sadomasochistic boyfriend.
Munchausen syndrome by proxy is still a thing. More popular these days, I’d say.
Dear Zachary shattered my soul
The case that Mummy Dead and Dearest is about, is just utterly heart-wrenching
Good choices. Hard to believe, though, that a a 20 Creepiest Documentaries list could overlook the landmark Holocaust masterpiece "Shoah."
Great list, but you definitely should have included “Bridgend”. It stuck with me long after I watched it. So freaking disturbing.
When I watched Room 237, I didn’t find it profound or spooky at all. Just an endless stream of pretentious anecdotes from Kubrick Stans who are looking way too deep in to a deliberately ambiguous film. And some of them were reaching so bad, I would’ve laughed if I didn’t find their viewpoints so utterly pitiful to listen to 🙄
Shame really. It should’ve been more as a mockumentary on absurd film analysis rather than the earnest breakdown of the Shining which it ultimately was.
Just Melvin Just Evil
This is the name of the worst documentary that I have ever seen. Why it is not number one on this list should tell you something about where our society is headed.
Watch it and see for yourself. It is the only documentary that made me actually cry.
I guess no one at WatchMojo has ever seen CAPTURING THE FRIEDMANS?
It’s in Another Top 10 Controversial Documentary Films
The Act of Killing is one of the most profound doc's I've ever seen.
One documentary you should watch is called “Nazi Concentration Camps” it’s a documentary made up of black and white footage taken when the camps were liberated. It’s definitely shocking to see just how many dead bodies there were. Every body looks the same, there’s no male and female really.. it’s just skinny skeleton like bodies.
I wanted to show my best friend at the time the documentary because we would make jokes about the holocaust and I believed it was important for her to know that it isn’t all a joke it’s real. It’s okay to use comedy as a coping mechanism (I think most people don’t understand that a dark sense of humour does come from fear, the fear of those events happening again can be so scary to them that they can’t function so making light of it helps them not be constantly afraid) but of course she didn’t take it very seriously so I had to watch it on my own to be able to actually sit and just watch it from a respectful perspective.
The denial coming from "Aunt Diane's" family members is astonishing. They didn't want it to be her fault because then there will be a lawsuit and the husband feared he would lose his house. They only made themselves appear delusional and heartless.
The Jinx didn't make the list, "What the hell did I do? Killed them all, of course."
thats because they exckuded tv series
Mojo did a vid about documentary about docs that ruined people’s lives, this was mentioned there.
We are more of a collapse in this day and age, then when " the killing of America " then when this movie did in 1982
@18:26... How in the actual F☆☆☆ can you (her parents) let the MONSTER/P.O.S. sleep in the same bed as your child?? Even if the abduction never happened, why would you let a grown ass man sleep in her bed??? Twice he abducted her...twice??? Then he sleeps in her bed, after the first kidnapping!!!!!!????!!!! The parents should have gotten prison time, too!
I've never heard of these documentaries. They sure are creepy! I feel so bad for the victims in these films! I can't believe these things happened.
American Murder: The Family Next Door was disturbing

*_"There's Something Wrong with Aunt Diane..."_*
And she ain't the only one! If that husband of hers is still alive he's still asking if it could've been a stroke, or a heart attack, or an aneurism, or a brain tumor, or a hang nail, or a cold sore, or a...
Yes. Crazy how in denial they all are. But its still a really bizarre story. The way they said she was just looking straight ahead unbothered while driving on the other side of the highway never sat right with me. Its so weird. I was thinking maybe suic1de? 🤔 idk . Sad story
I remember watching Jesus Camp with my family, and we all absolutely hated it.
The way that these people in those types of camps brainwash and manipulate kids and the claims that it's "in the name of the lord" is absolutely appalling.
A lot of my family is pretty religious, and even they thoroughly loathed the film.
Interesting. Now i gotta watch it.
@Byunniq I'd rather you not do that because I don't want to support the scummy behavior depicted.
But if you really want to, I guess I can't stop you.
But do be warned, it can be intense in several parts.
"Abducted in plain sight" is disturbing and fascinating. "Dear Zachary", however, is the ONLY documentary I could never rewatch. It is truly harrowing. Seriously, if you plan on watching it, look up spoilers first.
The documentaries I find most disturbing are The Witness about Kitty Genovese and Tell Me Who I am where the brother lost his memory. I guess they are more disturbing to me is because you could be impacted by a crime and not helped like Kitty or lose your memory and wonder who you are.
Tell Me Who I Am was so good, one of the best!
Dear Zachary broke me
dear zachary destroyed me. that movie reminds me to trust your gut when youre dating someone and they show disturbing red flags, just. just leave.
As an 80's TV baby I find Watch mojo so comforting.
Same here Watchmojo is one of the best channels on CZcams just for the amount of content alone
I was "lucky" enough to have seen most of these. I saw "Titticutt Follies" in Maine when it was still banned in Massachusetts.
LA 92 is really amazing but it’s really intense. It’s just pure footage from the 92’ LA riots. They won a Grammy for the documentary.
