- Hey everybody, we've been getting some emails and questions lately about the settings and power for both of these electric scooters so we decided to make a tutorial about all of the settings for both. we hope that this helps how- to help you all take care of your selves!
if you have any questions or issues email us at our support email at support@voromotors.com
P0 - wheel diameter. Set this number to whatever you're wheel diameter is
P1 - is the low voltage protection. Set this to the correct number to ensure a safe and usable battery. If you have the 52V CRUISER, put this setting to 43.0 if you have the 48V TOURING put this setting to 415
P2 - is the minimum wattage. Normally our scooters leave here at 15. So i suggest just setting that to 15 like we do.
P3 -this is the speedometer setting it SHOULD just be locked at 1 with no way to change it.
P4 - is the setting that will swap your display from kilometers and miles. 0 is km/h and 1 is MPH
P5 - Throttle or kick start option. 0 allows throttle to start. 1 will deactivate it and force you to kick start.
P6- this is the cruise setting. 1 is on and will let you use cruise control. 0 turns cruise control off
P7 - pick up speed, this is going to effect how harsh the acceleration on the scooter is. If you want a softer acceleration, put the setting to 1. If you want a hard acceleration put the setting to 0
P8 - this is the maximum speed setting, lowering this will limit how fast the scooter will go, generally this will be kept at 100 but you can lower it if you want for safety.
P9 - electric brake settings. 2 is strong, 1 is weak 0 is off.

Something that we want to clarify on
For the EMOVE Cruiser
P0 = 10 (10" wheel)
For the EMOVE Touring
P0 = 8 (8" wheel)
If the settings for P0 is not following this, you might find yourself at a different displayed speed compared to the actual real life speed. For example, if you Cruiser P0 setting is set at 8, you might be travelling at 25mph but the display is showing 20mph.
At the time when the video is made, this is 1 minor mistake on the tutorial. Apologies for any inconveniences caused.
Hi voromotors can you move the key insert or is it permanently placed
@@Sly_Fella yes it just Allen key
@@Randomguy-rh7rl ok
thank you for the clarification! i was wondering this and couldn't make sense of it.
Thanks for the clarity!
This saved me a 45 minute trip back to the store that I bought my scooter from. I had no idea why it wasn't moving from a stand still or getting over about 13 km/h during my first test ride at home (due to heavy rain at the store location preventing a test ride beforehand). Thanks for the info!
I can go in the rain no problem on my ninebot max. Might not be as fast but it will last and not make me have to look outside before I ride.
This kind of information would be amazing to have in the instruction manual 😊 keep up the good work guys! Loving my Emove cruiser btw!!
Is your cruiser still workin’ good?
@@ladyjedi3D yeah it does.
@@miroslavberecici5448 👍 😄, I’ve only had mine for a little over three weeks.
These are the best settings.
P0 - 10 wheel diameter
P1 - 43 low volt protect
P2 - 15 minimum wattage
P3 - 1 speedometer
P4 - 1 mph
P5 - 1 kickstart
P6 - 0 cruise
P7 - 1 acceleration
P8 - 100 power limit
P9 - 2 electronic brake
Thank you so much!
Why 10" wheel? Does it affect torque, or only the speedometer?
@@qx4n9e1xp just the speedometer it would give you an inaccurate speed
Only change P0 to 10 if you have tubeless tires. If you have a tire diameter of 10 then it is set to 10. In other words go based off your tire diameter. The first number on tires.
@@logandowney03 default is 10..
Amazing video man, so flipping helpful considering my scooter didn’t come with a proper manual! thanks🙏🏿
Seconded! It's the same reason I'm here.
Funnily, an obscure part number I found inside the throttle circuitry pointed me to this video. The seller AND manufacturer couldn't get me this info. Funny how things work out! Lol
Thank you for this video. I just bought a ROLLGOOD electric scooter and the P-settings were identical, in order, to what yours were concerning the settings. Thanks. VERY INFORMATIVE, and I'm grateful that it now measures in MPH, not Kmh
Thank you for the clear and easy explanation of everything! This is only my second scooter and I've learned a lot from your videos! Thank you..from Niagara Falls Canada 🇨🇦
This tutorial flowed nicely. :) I look forward to getting my new EMOVE Cruiser. Thanks!
AJ you are a natural in front of the camera.
Keep Up the great work
I was given a Grundig E scooter with Seat, great scooter for offroading. Just couldnt work out the menu system, this video helped very much. Cheers mate!
P3 sure looks useful. Glad its right in the middle of the menu. That should keep things simple and user friendly.
That is exactly what I was looking for my friend, thank you so much for posting this video. Over 50 lb is not something I'd like to kick start...
Awesome unadvertised feature. We can charge our phones! Just ordered my Touring yesterday after watching hours of videos. It was a Hard choice between the Emove Touring and the Fluid Horizon. Customizability (is that a real word) is what sold me.
At last . I've been looking for these settings . Thanks for the video . Liked n subbed
Needs an update.
P0 is a speedometer scale adjuster.
P1 is a battery scale adjuster. It adjust how your battery bar displays from full to empty. Doesn't affect LVC at all (I've had my Cruiser at 44v and the P1 at 48v, doesn't do a thing).
P9 is not a regen brake at. Others have said all it does it add a little bit of resistance to maintain steady speeds while going down hill. I can't detect it doing anything of any real note.
Sine wave controller has electronic braking for sure
Great tutorial. Thanks! Even with the soft acceleration setting, I still feel like my Cruiser accelerates very quickly from nothing and jerks me around a bit. Any way we can get a firmware update to have the option to make it even softer?
I'm impatiently waiting for this scooter to arrive
itll be there soon and we are sure you'll love it!
me too!!!!!!!!!!
Just got mine. It’s great to be fair. Plenty of speed and still haven’t charged it yet after 70km of use. Has 53v left. Crazy range. Built very well too. Heavy little bastard though.
Me four 😎
Probkem with loose screw???
great video! quick question on the P8 if I put 80% and keep on speed 1 is it possible I can get longer mileage ?
Do you have a video on the set up for the new emove cruiser s ?
Thank you! Oh and if you hold the power button down after making a selection it goes back in the menu
Thank you for this video. I have an issue, my emove cruiser reset the odo. I know it's waterproof but the plastic covering for the on off button came off and I'm not sure if water got in and messed it up?
I almost fell out of my scooter so I chose P7 01, I'm no longer afraid THANK U!!
Pee Zero all the way for me. It's great it can be adjusted for diffent riders though, do appreciate that ability.
@@MrWilliam.Stewart mine is inverted(i have diferent scooter tho0 p0 lower acc p1 higher
Cheers, very useful information.
My Touring came with 3\5 bars of a charge.. and the wheel size wasn't setup.. so I went for about a 4 mile ride and it was down to 1 bar on the battery meter.. Another mile and I would have made it to the local market but I turned around. So far it's fun and a pretty solid machine.
It's bad for the battery to leave it too high or too low for too long, so they leave it at medium for battery life when not being used(when no one is riding).
I just bought a Cruiser, literally hours ago, and have officially began the waiting journey. While excited about that, I'm a little confused about the low voltage protection setting (P1), and I noticed this video was from 2020, while the model I bought was the 2021. Even the batteries are different, I believe, so should it be set to 430 regardless? Replies appreciated.
About the electric break: I'm not educated in the technical engineering of this technology so I want to understand what exactly changes between 0, 1 and 2 settings. I'm guessing it's that break that hits when I stop accelerating even though I'm not actually hitting the breaks. I hate it because sometimes I let go of the accelerator to let the momentum carry me while I slow down but the break kills enough of the momentum that I have to accelerate again even with the P9 set to 0. Am I on the wrong setting or are the electric breaks something completely different?
I needed this.
We're glad it helped!
Thank you, sir.
You are the best
Fantastic video and well explained
Many thanks!
Umm ok wow. I just bought mines a week ago. I just came because I was trying to find out how to turn off cruise control and the take off.. I found it 💯
We're glad the video was able to help you!
Just ordered the tourer 😎
Nice welcome to the club! I just received my cruiser! 🔥
Mine arrived yesterday
Fuego 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Gracias señor
Great information ℹ️ just ordered my emove cruiser upset 😢 they not selling yellow anymore
Great info thanks!
Thank you so much
Yes I just got a scooter it's not even 2 weeks old and I noticed that wire going into the back to LCD was loose way too small for the whole the other big hole wasn't even covered up but I noticed when I raise a handlebars up and down it must have wiggled the wire or something because now my scooter won't turn on when I turn the key on LCD doesn't light up but I could push the menu button or that the power button on hold it down in the horns the light will come on and the horno honk but I was just wondering if you had any ideas about that
Thank You!!!
Very helpful thanks
hi sir asking if is possible to chane the lcd for minimotor lcd ? thanks sir
Hi. I changed my display throttle which is originally z2 but I got a z1 throttle as replacement which has up to p9 settings. Can you help me out what parameters for z1. I'm afraid I might damage the scooter if I use it without setting up. By the way my scooter is China mare which is 60v 3200w dual motor (1600w each). Please help.
please help me with my lcd seetings because even if its already low voltage but the battery indicator is still 100%. tia
Hi! Do you have any idea why is charging and stop and start again charging? Shows red 30 seconds and green again. It takes ages to charge and just a little charging. Thank you
Has anyone actually used the GUB U-Lock and attached it to a pole or fence somewhere? Did you feel safe leaving it?
That was really helpful Man,
Can we add the Mobile with USB and have all this detail coming up on Mobile ???
Is there a way to know what's the corresponsive speed per percentage?
Eg. how many mph is 70%?
Is there a chart or something to see this or it's just trial and error?
It would be useful if there was a chart.
That's so cool bad ass
Thank you
Thanks
HI I am not aware if you already have a tutorial on installing an alarm on the E Move cruiser, but if you don't", would it be possible to do a wiring tutorial on an Alarm fitting please?
it would be possible in the future, but I'm not very familiar with modding the scooters, ill keep this in mind in the future though!
the P9, is it regen breaking?
Hi there can you turn the brightness down on the panel
Amazing scooters for the price!
Hahaha, hey, boss! Can you help me with my p menu? My girlfriend says its kinda small.
Normally a problem south of the border, can buy great big giant utes called "trucks" for that. The smaller ones menu, the bigger truck one needs to buy.
P2 is min wattage??? is it not poles number???
I have an identical scooter with this form this video but 48V 500W version and I have a question: on 2 and on 3 I seem to have the same power and max speed. max speed I tested with the wheel in the air and it is 39 km/h on both settings 2 and 3. Isn't this a little low especially with zero load? With me it barely goes more then 30 km/h. Specs were saying 45 km/h.
Thank you help so much
Thanks for the video. The exclamation mark appears on the screen every time I brake. Is that normal?
That is normal. It should appear every time you squeeze the brakes
Awesome video :D thank you so much.
Where can i find a pdf or something with the Fault icons explained ? you see them in the video at 08:25
Edit: And what to do when you see the icon.
Just ordered my cruiser and I’m so happy to know that I can have regenerative breaking ! Awesome.
@Fancy Pants - Any updates since the purchase? Debating whether to buy
@@Stylezsnyc Dude I just got one and just buy it. I've tested over 15 scooters and this one is my favorite
Can you just tell me problem with loose screw here?
@@damirmaric2745 yeah there's problem with loose screws on early 2019 and 2020 version idk about renew 2021 but some blue loctite fix it!
@@BreadBanana thanks for comment..
I hope this is now solved..
This model is so good with distance and solid speed.
Still price is a maybe little higher for now.
Could you please advise what should I put on my ultron t103 v.2.5 in setting P1? I have no idea if I accidentally changed something there.
Dowiedziałeś się może jakie powinny być parametry,bo też zmieniłem i nie wiem czy dobrze?🤔
Will the odometer reset if i swap throttle/display?
Is there another type of display that's like the gt kaboo mantis that's compatible.
#voromotors can we get full repair breakdowns for the wkgt and wolf warrior ex stem motors deck pad and or simple adjustments overall thanks btw I work for you guys so it'll definitely help me out
Question for you my TIFGALOP scooter I replaced the accelerator, but it won’t turn on install two of them does exact same thing, but I put the back on it turns on any help
I have a question! When u turn the screen on you can see next to the battery a percentage symbol (100%), is there anyway to turn that percentage symbol ON? I find it quite hard to know how much charge is left when u can only see like four bars…
hi! have you found any way to do it?
I actually have a Emove cruiser bought in 2020, so the question is that the odo of my scooter display almost reach to the number of 9999.9, is there any way to reset it to 0?
Hi I have a scooter like yours and I wanted the little lights down to turn ON and OFF according to the ON and OFF button on the display and not through the button down ... is there a way to do that?
Nope they’re button lights
I have a question for you regarding my e move scooter....after i put the key in and turn it on it wont stop its beeping sound. How do i fix this?
P6, got it.
My odometer got reset when I switched from miles to kilometers. Now when I went back to miles it shows the new setting. It lost all the miles I did under the miles/hr setting.
are all P settings the same on different displays
You have a more than company knowledge
Can you explain about The battery voltage ? When it’s on 52 is it fully charge? and what number should I get when it’s 10 percent Battery left?
Cruiser uses a 14s li-ion pack so full charge should be 58.8v and drained should be about 46v
Is there a voltmeter/ignition on the latest Touring models too?
There is yeah! - AJ
I can get my cruiser past 18mph top speed even on gear 3 and adjusting setting to 100%. Anything I’m missing?
Is there a way to back feed power through the usb port on the display? I’d like to be able to carry an external power supply I could plug in to get home in a pinch.
Hi there!
While we understand the natural inclination to use a USB port as a charger, that is not its intended purpose. The USB port on the display doesn't make for a good charger if you ever do plug in a device, and in fact, we would advise against it, as it is not meant to pull power like is required to charge a phone or other device.
The port's intended use is as a means to re-program the LCD display alone.
It most certainly is not a means by which you can feed power back into the scooter, and we would not recommend trying anything like what you are suggesting. Sorry! Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions, though!
hello, how can I activate the automatic cruise control option
How to buy that throttle cuz my throttle of my emove scooter is broken already
Anyway to dim the screen?
It’s so bright at night
Are these 2020 new1??
what the heck i didnt even know it has a usb port haha pretty cool now i can charge when emergency occurs
What do you mean for p2 minimum wattage . I got 800 watt motor what number should I set? I thought that the p2 was the number of the poles inside the motor... so the number 15 what does it mean ?
Have it on 18 i have the manufacture guide and it standing p2 =18
So the Touring I have for the P7 setting its the opposite. 1 is hard acceleration and 0 is soft. I prefer the soft acceleration too. I don't really want to be jerked around especially when you just need a bit of juice to take you up and down driveways.
same on mine
On my Cruiser P2 was set at 17 when I got it. Im pretty sure its the newest version since I just got it from Voro. Should I be changing it to 15?
I got mine from Voro also and it was either 17 or 18 then I changed it to 15 because of the video but changed it back to 17 because another comment on here said that the manufacturer manual says P2 18 for the cruiser
What if ur scooter is 42v only?
Waiting for my touring to arrive. If electronic braking is turned on, how does it work? A lever? Or does just releasing the trigger do it? Thanks. Great, informative video btw.
the E-brake activates just by pulling your brake lever. - AJ
VOROMOTORS Don't think mine works! Especially while in cruise mode the brakes don't cut cruise out just the throttle is that normal?
Sine wave controller works w electronic braking, my square controller never did.
Hello.. Do the front and rear lights have strobe mode?
I don't think so.
Just purchased the cruiser and I love it. Problem is, the odometer. When I changed it from km/h to mph, the odometer didn’t change. Is the odometer in kilometers or miles?
Strange. I just changed mine there and both changed.
Problem with screw loose?
Hi, this is great. Would you have a similar video or maybe just a list of settings for the Orca Mk1 please? Many thanks, Rupe
The Orca's settings are all locked. there isn't a way to get in and change anything so its really easy to pick up and not worry about. - AJ
@@VoroMotors Many thanks for getting back AJ. I just seem to have no 1/2/3 power difference, and feel stuck in lowest power maybe, little DYU 1 goes faster. The P settings all seem changeable (power and M etc),but if you say those numbers are fixed..I dont know what to do - maybe flash some defaults? I bought the bike from Techtablet in Portugal who had it as a review bike I think. Thanks again for your assistance, Rupert
If you set the brake settings to 2 doesn't the regenerative braking get less? Or is the regenerative braking not all that important?
I don’t think the Cruiser has regenerative braking and I don’t notice any difference whether it’s set to 0, 1, or 2. I don’t think this function works on this scooter.
Rick C Same on the touring the ebrake or regen doesn't seem to do anything
Hi, I have a scooter with the same display and the same settings and if I leave the scooter ON and do not move it, it will turn OFF after something like a minute... I wanted to ask if there is a way that the scooter will not turn OFF? Good, but are these explained in the manual?
I think they should be included because they sound important.
Don’t have cruise control on but as I’m going if I don’t hold the gas lever the scooter turns off automatically
It turns off completely? That should not be happening. I recommend sending an email to us at Support@voromotors.com

I laughed when he got really close to preemptively scold commenters
And should I do all these settings when the scooter arrives? Or it is automatically set?
They should be set. But if there are any settings that you'd like the change, this would be how. - AJ
trust me you will want to change that e-brake to 0-1 #2 is DANGEROUS!! it stops to fast and will make you get hurt
