For the demo we are using low instance count, with more instances the edge will look better. You can control the falloff distance from the selected spline: docs.chaos.com/display/VMAX/Chaos+Scatter#ChaosScatter-SplineIncludeAnimationExample

Such a great scene! What graphic card are you using here?
Its nothing fancy - RTX 3060ti 8GB, with Chaos Scatter you do not need a lot of video memory. The renders in the video are speedup for the demo.
