The 4x All-Star details his journey from Compton to becoming the face of the Toronto Raptors. He gets into what it was like seeing the Raptors win, what he learned under Coach Popovich, and why he’s so excited to be on the Chicago Bulls. And you won’t want to miss some never before heard (and Drake-approved) bars. Tune in, y’all!

DeRozan only has 2x All-NBA, 4x All-star (5 if we count this year since he probably will be there), and 1x Olympics Gold. McGrady also impacts the game outside of the US. He's a legend in China where billions of fans watch the game. That alone is enough to nominate him in HoF (just like Yao Ming). Don't ever disrespect McGrady and doubt why he's in HoF by comparing him to DeRozan. He deserved it more than anyone in there. If anything, DeRozan's nomination in the HoF will be controversial if his only contributions to basketball are mediocre at best. McGrady's HoF probability is 95.5% whereas DeRozan only has a measly 7% according to Basketball-Reference, a reputable site for basketball records and stats. It would take DeRozan at least a ring and a Finals MVP to even have a case. For comparison, Lowry has an 86% probability when he won a ring but to be fair to Lowry, he has enough all-time franchise records and other accolades to be nominated in the HoF but it will surely be lower if he didn't win a ring.

Played against that P Miller Ballers squad with Demar, Romeo, Brandon Jennings, Lance Stephenson, etc in 8th and 9th grade. They were TUUUUFFF! Demar wasn’t known as the best player. He was like 3rd or 4th best, but I always felt like he would eventually be the best one. My team was trash, but I’ll never forget those games. First time, I dropped 23. Romeo had 18. We guarded each other the whole game. But we lost by 20 smh. Brandon Jennings had like 35. Next year I had 25, Romeo had 22 or 23 I believe. Jennings had 40 something smh and we lost again. Don’t remember by how much but it felt like a blowout. We always got up for those games because they had a lot of talent and we knew who they were. Glad to see him shinin and playin some of the best basketball of his career this year! Especially as a Bulls fan. Gotta love it! Keep killin em boss 💪🏾!

Great interview! I’m a Bulls fan and embarrassed to say I never really paid attention to Demar before this year. Q&D definitely did their homework, but it’s really cool to see the perspective they have as NBA players. A lot of the questions no one else would be able to ask because they wouldn’t have that perspective. It’s cool to learn more about Demar and I’m really looking forward to seeing how far he and the bulls go this year.
