One of the most intense and underrated DMB songs. The lyrics (and the rhythm changes) are amazing. God bless U, Carter.... Good to know he's till human after all :))) (that little snaredrum hit on the end...). Rock music the way it was meant to be: creative, explosive, progressive....with depth. Way too little bands like this these days, makes you miss the 70s and 80s.

@@SammyMakepeace essentially, yes, but the verse is strange because it has three measures of 6 with a measure of 4 but the last note is elongated just a little because of a dotted 16th I think? It’s crazy, I’m not sure what’s going on there musically haha
@@willeeyuhm when i play along with this song on drums i count the verse as 3 bars of 5 followed by 1 bar of 6, and repeat. seems to line up well but it’s all up to the personal preference of who’s counting i guess

Nope, don't notice that at all. Just the initial "are w e all on it together" look. Do see the ball tho... Carter looks like he's counting til sing time, a bit of face maybe. Like i need my gum.
