- Today I am going over some points on how to stabilize the different uclear reactors of Nuclear Tech mod. Each reactor has a unique safety factor to it and can explode in different ways so operating them safely is important. Anyways I hope you guys enjoy the vid :)

From someone who has only played this mod in survival mode... Water and Reinforced blocks are huge!! I always carry player decontaminators and multiple radiation absorbers as well!
Indeed , I had to show these cause I am always building reactors out in the open which is something that should be absolutely avoided in a survival world especially if it's hardcore for some reason

I would really like to see all of the harm- I mean how villagers would deal with all the different meltdowns/explosions ;)
I do realize now that it was a missed opportunity , I could've placed villagers on top of each of these and blew the reactors up

Yeah I've tried the Alcater edition it's pretty dope. Haven't seen all of its features yet cause I haven't had much time to play but it's indeed exciting to have all of the 1.7.10 features in 1.12.2

Taint idea is cool , thanks for the recommendation I'll make a video on it. NTM survival playthough is something that has been requested so many times and yes I'll indeed get into it once I can find time to play Minecraft consistently. Work , studies and family time takes most of my day so rn I mostly focus on short tutorial type videos
May I suggest a refurbishing of the Radio Structure? Kinda like how you refurbished the Desert Atom into a functional missile launcher.

Yes repurposing most of the NTM structures is already on my to-do list man ... I have some ideas but would also love to hear your suggestion. So do you have anything particular in mind for the Radio structure ??

@@SavageVegeta I suggest downloading MrCrayfish’s Furniture Mod as well cause it fits well with the Radio. I have refurbished it once. I turned all the rooms except one into bedrooms, the other a bathroom.

Hey vegeta you should get into gregtech, its very realistic with tons of ores, alloys and stuff. It also has realistic power with voltage and amperage, I think you will like it. Great vid btw.

Everyone should indeed know that xd , cause when this happens in survival it is a painful experience. And as for the mod you are looking for ... it's called "WAILA" which stand for "What Am I Looking At". A mod which is especially useful when playing with alot of mods.

RBMK, one small mistake and there it goes. DFC is also the same
Can you now explain what to do after the meltdown happens and you cant stop it
Yes I'll make a video on clean up as well , but make sure to use water in the base of the containment building of the reactor as I showed in this video. That will make cleanup much much easier
Or just you know RUN FAR AWAY DONT MIND THE VILLAGE NEARBY JUST RUN AND BUILD SOME WHERE FAR AWAY AND FORGET ABOUT IT

How do you tell if an RBMK reactor is AZ-5 compatible or not?
If by putting down all the control rods the reactor shuts down completely then it's az5 capable. You can do that by surrounding a fuel rod on all the sides by the normal control rods

Jow do i prevent my reserch reactor from leaking when i put a breeding reactor it starts to leak radiation
one way of doing that is submerging the entire setup in water. Reason being whenever the breeding reactor will have something breedable in it the radiation will not leak out as it will act like a neutron absorber
but when it is empty and if you run the research reactor neutrons will fly out. So it's better to always keep it submerged so that no matter the condition it will never leak radiation
How do you install world edit 1.7.1 with multiple mods running at the same time? I downloaded fabric and world edit worked but I can’t play it with multiple mods, any ideas?
Well afaik fabric doesn't exist for "1.7.10" only forge is compatible ... and all of this is running on that version not on 1.7.1
Basically if you have forge installed then you shouldn't have any issues running any other mods with it. I have been playing with it since years and have never faced any issues with it

How to take out the depleted Fuel in big Nuclear Reactor?
Reactor Waste Ejector is a block that you can place instead of one of the reactor access hatches and have a crate/chest touching it. All the depleted fuel will be automatically deposited into it.

Surrounded by radiation reading 6.9 roentgens so I would say - Not Great Not Terrible xd
i see you use Big ass tanks a lot, but they have very limited throughput. they are better for if you just need storage, like in a oil plant i always use tanks for reactors, because tanks can empty all of their contents at once.

yeah I have started using the 256k tanks more after the new fluid updates recently. But will keep this point in mind as well !! Also glad to know you liked the video man :)
The updated big nuclear reactor (pwr) just explodes for me for no reason pls help
Weird, I made one today and it was working just fine for me, try switching out the fuel to something less reactive or maybe don't pull out the control rods fully. I'm also working on a pwr video which should be out soon so maybe it'll help

@@Maxib226 meu 235 is a moderate fuel for sure, then yeah I'll suggest just raise your control rods slowly and stop when the temperature hits the red section
@@SavageVegeta oh yeah I wanted to build a modern powerplant so I don't look at the reactor too much after startup. It exploded. But I think I should use an rbmk setup if I wanted to build a secure reactor I don't need to look at to often. The modern powerplant I built took me two hours and it just exploded ):
