Good afternoon Summer, I really love your videos, you are very helpful. Do you know how to make a foaming hand soap ?
been waiting for this 🙌
Awesome! I love making lotion, it seems really intimidating at first but it is super easy!!!
I've only made lotion a couple times and I'm getting ready to make one. But just the other day I was thinking about making and the thought crossed my mind about if they (water and oil) both had to be heated. So thanks for answering. LOL a few videos I've watched in the past couple days have read my mind! 😊
How exciting!! Yeah the heating of both phases is super important. I would suggest for your first batch, just make 9 ounces. You will learn a lot in the process and it’s a small enough batch that you can try another!
Good tutorial!I have seen some recipes use cetyl alcohol as the co-emulsifier..I am wondering what would happen if the two phases are put in the same container, heated and then blended?
Thank you! Unfortunately that wouldn’t work. The two have to stay separate and then mixed once they are put in the same container with the immersion blender. I have worked with Cetyl alcohol and I like that it makes lotion feel silkier
