I always read the safety sheet thingy because I get bored sometimes, and other times it’ll be because of anxiety. However even though I’ve practically memorized this sheet, I feel as if I must read it EVERY SINGLE TIME I’m on a plane
May I also add its usually done during re fueling the plane and the cleaning isn't deep at all. It's just a quick wipe down and a check for any rubbish. That most certainly is removed

I was ready to offer wipes to anyone around us who asked for them, but no one did. I’m not that much of a germaphobe, but some people are disgusting.

i have a question.. these expensive airlines are making alot of money. why they don't do the general cleaning once in a month? its very inappropriate and unethical that you are making the passenger's life vulnerable.

It's seen as a waste of time and resources for many companies. For goodness sake, the CEO needs that money for a 5th yacht. Is it unethical? I mean, probably, and I'm certainly not a fan. In all my years of flying I’ve only seen a cleaner clean the galley counter top one time. He used the rag to clean the toilet area first. It was also the only time I have seen them clean the toilet.
From my experience as the maintenance guy, these planes do get cleaning after a while including the seats. And deep clean in the cabin happens at night after the last flight/ nightstop. There are team that does this during the nightshift. But things do stay dirty for awhile if its not something we do on regular basis.

You know that pen on the credit card terminal? Never been cleaned. That gas pump nozzle? Only gets disinfected when gas spills on it. The top part of your shopping cart where you put your bread and produce? Kids pee in those and they only get cleaned by the rain.
The same applies to public transport, cinema, theater and many other public places. It is impossible to keep everything clean. Best you can do is wash your hands before eating something and don't touch your face with dirty hands. I know some people also don't touch doorknobs with their hands.
So basically bring a plastic seat cover. Or use trash bags. Or a disposable raincoat. Then bring wet wipes and don't bring a carry on that you can't put on your lap. Use gloves when u go to the bathroom. Or if u r on a short flight, just go before and after. Also you didn't mention the pillows and blankets. They don't get washed right?

On February 26 2023 I was in the economy seats on a plane and my brother was jumping around so much that I spilled my apple juice and had to sit on that seat for still like two hours and once the plane landed I just ran away and be like no more planes for me hehe
