San Francisco Homeless? Not here. Salesforce Park: beautiful, free, clean, safe and a joy to visit

- Visiting the Salesforce Park truly feels like a hidden escape in San Francisco complete with "chill vibe". In the heart of the financial district, the park sits on the 4th floor atop the Salesforce Transit Center, in the shadow of Salesforce Tower, a +1,000 foot office skyscraper is visible from almost any part of the city.
Homeless are not excluded but the park is not open at night (hours 6am - 9pm), has limited access due to being on a rooftop, enforces rules and regulations that discourage antisocial behavior and has a strong police and private security presence. And yes there are clean restrooms.
The rooftop park, with 5.4 acres of extensive flowers, plants and trees from around the world is a wonderful nature adventure including walk around the 4 city block roof top park. The facility includes a main plaza with free live entertainment as well as beer, wine and food available. The park sponsors a Kid's recess or play area with crafts and books and the park also provides health and wellness activities.
The park is accessible through elevators, escalators, stairs and our favorite the Gondola at the corner of Fremont and Mission Streets.
To enjoy your trail in the Park, we propose you follow the walking path which tracks all the park perimeter and spans around half a mile. This route will allow you to enjoy a beautiful landscape with 600 trees, 15,000 plants, and 13 small botanical gardens with flora and fauna representing different parts of the world

I love that the park has so many botanical gardens featuring plants from around the world. The amenities like the cafe and recess cart for kids are also a great addition. Amazingly beautiful views of San Francisco, this place is perfect to visit, I am pleasantly impressed by how clean the streets are and how many beauties this city has. I saw so many beautiful colorful flowers in this park, it is a relaxation for the mind and soul to walk in this great park, the buildings look amazing. I loved to see the cute bird on a tree branch, I still don't have the opportunity to visit this location, but I'm very happy to see how beautiful places are in this world! Wow this is amazing and very unique park situated on the rooftop. Looks a perfect place to hangout when in San Francisco. Lots of beautiful plants and flowers to enjoy and great things to do. The desert garden is so beautiful and central lawn is a perfect spot to sit and relax. Great views of the towering buildings as well!
