I'm pretty sure he would play full game if not because of the injury. Amad came on & instantly dribbled past their player. It was not anything extraordinary..just use your body right & hold on to the ball. This is from now on how Amad gets to play: injury & extra time. Utd focused to attack on our left with useless Rashford & after 20 mins, we switched to the right & boom, goal.

I ended up feeling sorry for Coventry because it was such a gutsy effort from a Championship side.

I don't think Rashford actually provided any threat on the left side - he didn't once beat the full back. In fact, I don't remember the last time he beat an opposition left-back in a one-on-one situation.

This is not the manager, looking to do some rotation with subs to give some players a few minutes of game time and resting his overplayed players for the next match while the team is 3-0 up for less than 30 minutes to go. First eleven to be changed many times because of injuries and people wants game style, while the first eleven is different many times because of injuries. Why does ETH continue to take off Garnacho when Rashford hasn't made a contribution in I don't know how long. Rashford hasn't scored or assisted since the FA Cup Quarter final. Bench him and start with Amad and Garnacho. I love Casemiro, but he clearly lost half a yard and has been making so many mistakes so why not start Amrabat and give him a run of games, really how much worse can it be? Every week we go life and death with bottom half of the table teams, it's simply not good enough. That performance was abysmal.
The match against Coventry City sums up the entire season. Playing so poorly against the number 8 of the Championship league says it all. I'm terrified of the outcome of the final against City.

I really feel for Garnarcho. Yes, he missed 2 good chances with his right foot but he was also in really good position at least 2 times but teammate chose other options. I think there's something going on between Garnarcho & some teammates. He was still desperate for goals when he came off. Imagine watching from the bench the rest of that performance. I don't blame Ten Hag for making subs after 3 goals in an hour but he made the wrong sub.
I've seen Garnacho not olay in Rasmus a couple of times. I've many players not utilize Rasmus in any game.

Spot on. Yes, his subs were bad. However, protecting his young players with a 3-0 lead against a championship side is reasonable. Any professional players at United should be able to manage and see off the game. The players are highly responsible. Use some common sense people.
So, why the players arenât seeing this? Who is suppose to see them finish this? Who is paid to ascertain they finish the game with glory? ETH is paid to do this and if he canât manage his players, he isnât suitable to continue. He spent 400m on 11 players. Did it make a difference?

i wouldn't call it stubborn when he spent a whole first season playing pragmatic with the squad, any manager would want to eventually implement his style as soon as possible, this season has just exposed how many players in the squad lacks the ability to play on the front foot expansively and close down quickly when losing the ball, how the defence needs to be overhauled, how the squad is crying for depth in quality, how the likes of Eriksen and Casemiro need to be replaced ASAP, how we need wingers to feed in balls to Hojlund instead of trying to be the main guy on the counter, How the team is absolutely lacking fitness, we need to improve the squad, this squad will do the same with any manager with an attacking front foot approach.
@@rana1561 : He was aware of the deficiencies within the squad after the first season. Should have done all he could to make sure those problems were mitigated. He didn't - the midfield was a problem with a gaping hole in it, yet he wasted money on Mason Mount and brought in an ill-fit for the Premier league in Amrabat. Whose faults are those? In a window when the likes of Liverpool are bringing in Endo, MacAllister, Szoboszlai and Gravenberch! Leicester were being relegated - should have considered James Maddison and Tielemans at potential cut prices. Defence was also another issue - didn't bring in anyone. Nah, INEOS must disband the team and the manager!

I remember seeing moments at the start of the second half where Coventry tried a little press, and it always resulted in someone panicking and hitting it long blindly, straight back to Coventry. I was thinking "uh oh here we go again" and sure enough within 20 minutes we'd conceded two and lost all control we had in the game. basically ended up camped in our own box! against Coventry! This lot just lose all composure the second things start to go wrong or change in a game

The weird thing for me is that I never even thought we were going to lose; even when the disallowed goal went in I was convinced it was going to get ruled out. I think it's because it was such a crazy game that it almost felt fake, like watching a movie, as if it was scripted or something. Especially with Coventry's second goal where Onana dropped to his knee instead of jumping and knocking the ball over the bar. It's almost like United wanted to go to extra time.

The defence league for Ten Hag will never get it! If you take what EtH is doing compared with other top managers, it's very easy to see that the gap is huge and he's failing miserably. No one can win football matches and challenge for the league without the football (control). Man City lead the average ball possession stats so far in the league: 1. City (65.9%) 2. Spurs (61.5%) 3. Brighton (61.3%) 4. Liverpool (61%) 5. Arsenal (59.5%). All these teams in the top 5 for possession stats play a different brand of football (Not tiki taka) but the fundamentals are the same, this confirms that If you want to be successful in modern football you need to be able to keep the ball. Manchester United are 10th (50.1%) by the way on the list behind Chelsea, Villa, Fulham and Newcastle. Sir Jim and Ineos will never accept that brand of football. This alone and the fact that we've lost more than 15 games in 1 season (Will probably be more by the end of the season) deserves a sack!
Ten hag does not have ball playing defenders to play from the back to progress the ball. If you analyze well you will see that they progress with long ball to hoilund. They only have 4 players who can keep the ball that is Bruno and Mainoo onana and lucha the rest they can't keep in tight positions or not comfortable how do you have possession if you don't have players to keep possession. These players are not good enough they have shown with 3 different managers how would we blame ten hag.
