My dad owned two of these in succession: crossflow Kent 1599 with a Weber 40 DFAI twinchoke, the second one with a mike the pipe exhaust, highlift cam and a wobbly idle. That car from 3.500 - 5.000 rpm on the right hand side of an A-road, sheer beauty with a soundtrack from the engine like Ben Hur.

This isnt a MK1.. it is no longer the 1600 so it sounds totally wrong and isn't anything like it should be
