I'd say that being "in ministry" is not the main objective of salvation. We are called to follow Jesus. Be in fellowship with Him, not to be in ministry.
We’re called to both. (Very few are called to vocational ministry. But all are to be salt and light, to be that small seed that infiltrates their world with the Kingdom - be that in their domain as a parent, friend, nurse, ditch-digger, etc.)
I am crying out of relief and gratitude. I have been so alone for so long with no one to talk to. I'm actually afraid to even say anything here... but you are an answered prayer. The hurt is so deep and the betrayals are so much. Thank you for not giving up. God had me in mind when you made this video. I never gave up on my faith but I struggle trusting because of my experiences. I'm so glad God never turned on me. That He is who He is and that you are speaking out on this. Its so important.
Hey Jennifer. You have no idea how much your message means to me. I struggled for years (should I share this? Should I not?) To know that this found you in your deep time of need makes me feel like going through it myself was worth it. I’m so sorry you’ve experienced this. And I’m stoked to hear that it didn’t destroy you (crushed but not broken). I pray you find your way forward from here. God will lead you on my friend.
Same im going through this now alone, it was not hurt it was the worse kind of abuse 😢
I have been through every one of those results. However, this is a topic that few if any pastors will ever approach and it is one that needs to be dealt with in certain denominations.
So true. I actually wrestled for years on whether to do the video or not. Finally decided that truth spoken in the right spirit is always best. Also, Im sorry to hear you’ve had to experience this. It’s not easy to go through.
