I wonder what Yo-kai would be good if they where ported over to Pokémon? I mean, they both have 4 moves and we can just swap the spirit stat for gen one's special stat. I also wonder what Pokémon would be good in Yo-kai watch.
I think that something like Shedinja could be pretty strong in Yokai watch but that depends on the opponents team
Alot of Yo-Kai would be broken in Pokemon due to how alot of their blanket effects work like Whisper or just have really over the top damage output like Righteous Zazel.
I feel like if just slitheref, mython and hungramps were added, the competitive scene would crack apart
I have no idea how soultimates would work in this, my first idea was how Z-moves worked, where you used it once per battle, but that would remove the benefits of low ranks having faster charge. Maybe a cooldown based on it's power? Also, it's pretty cool how most Yo-kai you can befriend in the early game can evolve into stronger forms, dimmy, negatibuzz, peckpocket Lie-in, Chilled Cowcao, Cadin, Noway, Pandle, and so many more, just something i really like about the series.

Wazzat (You can change It for a humtea Jumtea)
Wydeawake
Treetter
Humtea Jumtea (you can bring 1 or 2)
Why Naant
The strategy is easy to do, It works using level 5 or 6 yokai.
But you have to get Lucky with rng

Anyways i just wanna ask if theres any easy way to get into ykw competitive? Asking cos there doesnt seem to be anything like an online battle sim and most of your vids like this use japanese footage which obv most players cant really access
Sadly, no. The 3DS is no longer getting support, its online functions are out, emulation for the games through Citra and fanmade online through Pretendo are all you can rely on situationally.

Man, imagine being the most iconic bird pokemon with a cool Mega form and can fly at mach 5, only to be outclassed by a low ranked owl whose whole gimmick is to whisper your name at a barely audible hearing range. All because that owl can negate all evasion 100% no matter what better than YOU.
And to pour more salt on the fresh wounds, there are other Pokemons that can do that job, but somewhat better. Pidgeot might as well don't show up for the next game, cuz that is just embarrassing.
