I'm sorry for discharge appearing so often, I have it on my list to rework that trait. Spoiler it's not even good with slow weapons which it is meant for.
I like the idea of it a lot, I am sure you can come up with something you'll like more though! I had figured there were weapons in the game that would utilize it, but if _you_ don't think so then a change is probably good yeah, haha.
maybe could work like a charged shot. where u charge for a while before launching a more powerfull atack. or it could increase the damage as long u are not atacking, but lose the bonus once you do. that way is optional if u wanna go for a charged discharge or if u prefer to just spam atacks
Yeah, I totally see how it could be meant that way.
I think attack speed is so powerful for these type of games though. I imagine a slower, harder hitting weapon would just dramatically overkill enemies with that trait anyway, so it would effectively be useless.
So you know what to look for, there's a secret room at 2:30 ! You can see the little X to the side of the perk menu!

This may be weird but I know I'm not alone, so wanted to express this if it hasnt been said recently. I have a lot of trouble sleeping, and look forward to Reto's videos daily. the final boss probably counts as undead so maybe that meta progress is to aid those strugglin

Ive got some theories. I think the "extra" upgrades is because you upgraded once every floor when you found them, so you got the extra ones. And im out to bet that the broken sword is secretly the best item in the game, if you upgrade it with the extras. or its a goof for challenge runs.
I was thinking it can only reach some kind of level, but some stuff starts at either a higher or lower level.. IE, weps can only reach SS, and if it starts at C, it will take an extra upgrade from a weapon that starts at B... Maybe?
From watching a number of these videos, every food piece levels you up one level, it is every 5 levels gained that a perk is presented. That would be the 5/10/15/etc boxes at the top of the character screen. 30 levels looks to be the max, 6 perks gained.
Cleric is definitely the Str/INt class trying to skew it to dex was going to be an uphill battle.

I'm surprised you can't sell anything, even a crappy price would make the simple inventory management more satsifying (and make consumables more versatile because you're not pressed to take them instantly?)
Really digging how excited you are about this game! It hits a weird nostalgic feeling, mixing og nintendo zelda with archdale? Would like to see you make a bad build work?! A jack of all trades with stats, all proficincies, and a weapon that scales on all 3 attributes? If that weapon exists

Maybe do a run off screen where you just scan for nothing but the hidden rooms. THEN we will rip into you every time you miss one 😂

We haven’t seen any bow runs in a bit. Would be interesting to see what a s rank bow looks like
I just realized a lot of the sound effects sound very very similar to the sound effects from Forager
not finished the video yet but tbh ive been keeping an eye out for the hidden rooms and havnt spotted any. Ive also not like combed through the frames or anything either. theyre either really rare or really well hidde
The damage upgrade against undead might be there cause the last boss, death might be undead? Unsure tbh. But it might be a sort of, “help me kill the last boss” upgrade. Still not terribly interesting though.

Probably an undead counter due to you fighting death
Maybe the broken hero sword has an effect when you get it to +4?

Undead damage is maybe mostly for final boss i think
Maybe Cleric is "supposed" to scale with str and int (his heal 3 hearts hp trait seems that higher hp is good). So, it has a higher chance of getting str perks?
