@@MohammadQasim😂 The Context of Leviticus is when God pronounced a Judgment on the Enemy of Israel i.e Canaanites and he casted upon them the Curse of Leprosy, God told Moses and his Brother Aaron to perform this atonement to cleanse their own house from the Curse😂 You have to read the Bible in Context not like the Quran that is Disconnected and have no continuity.

The fact he said it’s like your spouse eating from your hands you already put yourself in a corner. The problem we have here is either they licked their own fingers it’s fine but the question is did he have his followers lick His fingers. As a man I wouldn’t be licking another man’s fingers. So bringing up a spouse analogy is not in its correct context.

But it doesn’t eliminate the fact he taken underage girl and married her which was against Yeshuas response about having kids since and that’s what he did. And then being a hypocrite to have 11 wife’s to his followers 4 and the list goes on. At this point. I don’t I’m not surprised on anything he did. Chapter 11 of the Quran is cringing in itself.

@ItisTime1213 2) Having multiple wives doesn't disprove prophethood. His wives whom he had were some for peace purposes via clans. Another was shown to him in a vision to marry for likely for religious propogation purposes, yet others were widows. Non the less God can favor one person above another anyone elses objection is based on assumptions since you are assuming the prophet to be false based on receiving a privilege. However a privilege doesnt equal false prophet. Thats a absurd leap and a far stretch indeed.
I'm Christian and I can say that I do not agree with Sam's methods always. Sure he may be right but he is kind of boastful. Many would say that the truth need not be humble, that the truth can be loud and roud. Jesus claims He is the truth yet He was not boastful. So while Sm may be learned in Christianity and the Qur'an, I think he could stand a serving of humble pie. Regarding this video, if Sam's whole point is to point out the strange things that are present in certain hadiths (I am ignorant when it comes to Islam) for the sake of converting Muslims, that is not his job. That would be the Holy spirit's job. Regarding Levitucus, it seems as though this is to get the Israelites prepared for messiah. This symbolism of the cleansing power of the sacrificed blood (a type of Christ healing), or the number of times (seven being the number of completion) is training those folks to 1) remember the purpose of the shed lambs blood when they were in captivity, and 2) the messiah will do the same thing. I an not smart concerning the hyssop and the wood, although my guess for the wood is that this is a type of cross, since Jesus died on the cross (yes, I know Muslims don't believe Christ died on the cross) but the people of the book do.

The verse mentions blood as a purifying thing. So it would still be problematic however i mainly used that as a argument as a retaliation than a fundamental criticism of christanity. A fundamental criticism would be god isnt a man and neither a trinity.
Agreed. I often review debates between Muslims and Christians and many times the retaliation is tit-for-tat instead of trying to get to the heart of the matter. I can not claim that everything I read in the bible is understandable to me. regarding the blood as purifying, in the old testament, blood served as an atonement (see Levitucus 17:11) . But I think the overarching message that the Lord is trying to convey is that believing in what the Lord says to do is most important. I agree that blood having purifying properties is problematic, but along those lines I would put Naaman (2Kings 5). The Lord, through a prophet told Naaman to dip himself in the Jordan RIver seven times to rid him of his skin disease. I would find this problematic as well, but the lesson is not that this water was special (the Jordan River was kinda yuk as I am told), but it was his obedience that cleansed him. And of course the number seven has the Lord's finger prints all over the blessing. There is also another application here to note. Naaman could not save himself. He could not buy his "freedom". Position of authority could not remove his "sin" (leprosy was thought to be a curse of sin). This message as well as the entire message of the bible is that if we wish to be free from sin, we must depend on the atoning sacrifice of the Lamb. God being a man and the trinity? My finite mind is ill-equipped to grasp the breadth and depth of such an idea. I will say this concerning the "trinity". I do not believe this phrase is found in the bible but even still, it is not a salvation thing to understand it.Many folks who have come to Christ did so without the full knowledge of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. There is a kind of genius notion to it. I would sacrifice my life for my children, as I am sure others would do the same. This is by far the ultimate action anyone can do. So if God is the father, and we are made in His image, we have this self sacrificing trait from him, yes? Christians believe Christ did for us, first, what we would do to our child.
