We are not the same.
I didn’t hate it on launch. I played religiously and the shenanigans outweighed the crushing lack of variety. Why does it matter if it’s the same voyage when I hadn’t shot a cannon at my own ship to scare my teammates before? I remember we were sailing into the sunset playing Becalmed on our instruments and two of us got choked up. Those are memories you can’t put a price on. £35 never felt so well spent.
the thing is while they were boasting over 30 million players that was 30 million pirates created as its 1 pirate per account and other than its initial release it had maybe 2 million active players per season growing smaller per season but there has always been new players coming in and out every season but the handful of loyal players who have stuck around season to season is growing smaller and smaller

Personnally i love the new update as it encourages new players to play the game with the new tutorials and esay menus.
Sure, nothing new for veterans. I've been playing the game since 2020 and i guess i don't have inspiring or game breaking achievements to tryhard for but there is still a lot i can do on this game. Everytime you set sail, you do something different, that's what i love about it.
AND LET'S NOT FORGET !
The last seasons were basicaly game structure updates. Building a new architecture for the game before starting to add real new content.
This update was the last of it's kind.
Next season, we are bound to see some major and game changing content coming on the seas.
They were just prepping the game to welcome it :)
Don't lose hope for Sea Of Thieves as it still has a whole lot up it's sleeve !

Great vid, i dont think many people truly understand the hidden lore behind SOT. Ive been playin since day 1 and remember watching the E3 trailer n i was hooked. I jus got back on at the end of season 10 into season 11, i hopped off right after the ashen set was introduced. I loved the game on launch despite its lack of content and features compared to today and still love the game even more now. Onm this game has a special place in my heart

I still play the hell outta the game, just wish the textures didn’t turn to play dough (blurry af) or shop stuff not loading or showing my character so I have to wait longer bc it jus bugs out.

i think they where doing pretty damn well up until season 10, i have nearly 2k hours on the game and since they've fucked up pvp with the quick swap thing, servers laggy as ever and the content is just starting to feel more low effort, i havent played the game in over 4 months, and i understand some people think that quick swapping requires no skill and that it is unbalanced, but i use it as someone who plays on near 300ms permanently, and it was the only way for me not to get fucking sword spammed to death, with the right timing and good aim i actually stood a chance against people with low ping, and in my case ship combat is completely fucked, my shots take twice as long and the cannon balls rubber band, so 98% of how i won fights where using pvp on their ship i was lvl 50 in arena but i struggle my ass off to get the pvp curses, so they should either get better servers, or just bring back the feture 90% of players used in any case and just let the people who dont like it go play fucking safer seas

That being a third and final tall tale that completes the trilogy of sea bound soul and heart of fire, where all the factions in the sea of thieves, with the additional help of Jack sparrow and the black pearl, and this tall tail would be basically the equivalent of avengers endgame in sea of thieves, flame-heart, would have a massive fleet surrounding this volcanic fortress, and at some point the tall tale you go into the fortress and fight him himself, no floating head in the sky, no ghostly form or anything like that, just him in his physical form as skeleton Lord, a whole fight happens, one of the main characters will sacrifice themselves, And some other nice conclusions to character arcs something like that, I know this, but if you see it, I would like to hear your opinions

Everyone I know quit bc Rare took wrong side and upon realizing it they did too little too late. Who would think siding with selfish toxic streamers that play the people trying to play your game would all walk away once they stopped most the playerbase from even trying. Part of me hurts bc favorite game at one point, and another part of me is like TOLD YOU SO Rare. Reap what you sow, what did they expect allowing this for far too long? Hope this is a lesson about toxic gamers for developers! So much of the game never seen or explored by many because they side with sociopaths

I can't blame people for not wanting to play it. Rare designed it incredibly poorly, then refused to address fundamental issues, opting for band-aid double rep days instead.

Im pretty sure not even a million people plays this game in every month. Most of the servers has been always half empty, sometimes you gotta search an hour to server where is other players, and some days you ended up same server where u was previously. Sea of thieves is already ruined, its way too easy to achieve everything. Soon most of the people become Pirate legend and opens everything there, they wont play the game with same interesting. 4 yearsago, when there was mutch less unnessassary stuff into game, it was actually good game. When some one chase you, and you still manage to sell your loot, or they forced you to fight, and you won. Those were the moments, that was living amongs to players. its diffirend now, this game is boring.
it still lacks variety, for enemies no really I came back and played for few weeks. It's just meh.

Season 11 is ruined Sea Of Thieves! Bring back the old voyage system!!
The game is dead, it's way too grindy. The ship combat has become a headache, fire, harpooning you off your cannons, terrible weapon combat...terrible. constantly bordering your ship dropping ⚓. Its so clunky its like a tech build, that's why it's infuriating. This is the only game that gets me angry, because I know its not a skill issue, its just a mess of all sorts of stuff. There's way to much to manage on a solo sloop, fire that doesn't want to go out! The mast gets dropped instantly, I get harpooned of my cannons..every time. The game isn't fair, its an all you can eat for the sweats and a nightmare for normal players. Canons are OK we don't need all the stupid garbage. The reason I liked this game way because the ship combat WAS cool but now its just full of all this special crap they added and burned one of the only good things in this game. You have better combat in Minecraft

The new voyage system is garbage. It’s like a move backwards. The old system gave you multiple maps for one purchase. And those included buried treasures more than 6-7 chest in a single island. And if you weren’t satisfied with the islands you could cancel and put down another voyage. But in season 11 this is completely gone! You either have 2 chest island or 3 chest island. And they are always the same damn islands.. also no captains chest or cursed chest, legendary chest is no longer can be dig out just one type of chest. It’s ridiculous. This update is a 1/10

@@user-wr6dj4ib9otheres a difference, fast travel would mess up a few things, diving is meant to start voyages, as you lose any loot onboard when you dive
