It’s called hot flocking you pre heat the part and then cure it in the oven

The cure oven where I work takes 20 minutes to coat the wheels. How does yours take less time?

Cure parameters. Low temp for longer or high temp for shorter.
If you use tiger drylac powder it tells you on the box the different cure schedules.

When I pull them out the oven, it kinda looks like 2 different blacks. What causes this

They are getting cured at two different temperatures, if it’s a satin or flat black, the glossier it is it’s not cured enough, you might have a dead spot in your oven or the other wheel is too close to the elements
