Sorry, but it won’t charge in half an hour on a fast charger. Maximum charge rate is only 3.6kW so it takes around three and a half hours. Apart from that great video.

Thanks for the tour of the new car... very nice. Possibly just missing the rear privacy tint as I always think that makes a car look extra premium (although assume you may have left it off the options list for the dog??)

Cabin looks premium and really well put together but, and only in my opinion obviously, “the main loveliness” as you put it is not the front grille.

I’m sorry Alexandru but I believe you are incorrect. The Hofmeister kink is an automotive design feature seen on modern BMWs. The feature consists of a low forward bend at the C-pillar or D-pillar in the case of touring. It is named for Wilhelm Hofmeister, BMW design chief from 1955 to 1970

@@andrewpryce-rattle you are correct but on the new M3 (the forward bend was split in two, so that no longer applies, only if you squint from afar they look like one line) and the new series 3 estate, my mistake, it stilll retains it, but not in the fashion that BMW is accustomed to. so we are both correct :) it's a disgrace if you ask me, the fact that they butchered this typical BMW piece of desing for this new model *sad beep*
Looking at the new M4, if that's a hofmeister kink, then the new 3 series estate has it too, and that will mean that my volvo v60 has it too, but it just doesnt look right on the beemer

Hi how much on a fast charge when empty ‘ lovely car

Mine takes around 3.5 hours on a dedicated charger. Even though the charger is rated at 7kWh the car will only take 3.6kWh.
