- After many months, I'm back with the first pvz creepypasta of 2021. Disclaimer, this video was actually supposed to be posted around December but I was busy with family issues, sorry and vacation. Now the Pvz creepypasta writer is back, and I'm ready to post alot more pvz creepypastas this year!

I love how we don’t know much about the original level, and the fact that we’ll probably never get to know that information makes it even better
I would personally say, if done right, ice level would be the perfect creepy pasta for plants vs zombies
Yeah. Funnily enough, it's supposed to be a snow level/world which would have featured Yeti Zombies, but it was cancelled and they removed the *data* for the level. Not the level itself, mind you! This made the level use default settings, with the Daytime plants, 50 sun and no zombies. I don't know how the floop.ogg and the game over sound got there, but yea lol.

I feel like there should be a creepypasta about Ice level being meant to be the end of PVZ,with snowpea and iceshroom being the only survivors because of their cold resistance,and before you say that fire plants would survive, firepea is literally some normal peashooter on fire and torchwood was shown being extinguished in his zen garden animation,so just imagine being snowpea or iceshroom,knowing that a creature is watching your every move and possibly will strike once you let your guard down,pretty creepy.
Ice level was a joke in the development team. It was just like normal level but the background was a photo of one of the poles.
@@RealMashups2009 also, the level had frozen zombies and no sun, barring the player from doing anything (except planting a singular wallnut.)

How I think Ice level could work
Reduced sun production (including falling sun) due to the cold
Plant firing rate is slowed because the plants would be cold
Ice plants like snow pea would be more powerful
To prevent coldness for other plants, use torch wood
Yeti zombies, zomboni, and bobsleds will only appear (the yetis won’t drop diamonds)
The arena would be front yard day

Zomboni in this level technically would just become a weaker but faster Gargantuar considering they're gonna destroy everything,and the ice won't really work because,well,everything is already ice

It would be cool if the original plan for the ice level was like seeing stars but with snow peas.

But, ice level was just an april fools level for the game testers.
But that would make sense, as a lot of unused levels has something like seeing stars but with different plants.
I was playing pvz while watching this and my screen got black the second the video ended, i got scared but it was just a low battery notification lol
I clicked on this and thought it was actually a normal video datamining the game or something like that
Pretty scary how you could get a heart attack at the 30 second mark being in Ice Level because a zombie getting tangled sound will play and the game over sound will also play.
I’ve had some cool ideas about the potential for Ice Level ever since I first heard about it. For starters, I was imagining the ice slowed down every zombie. But just so that the level doesn’t get too easy to the point there’s no challenge anymore, the ice also preserves their bodies so they can take 50% more damage before dying. And the ice, being bright glossy white, is so reflective that it doubles every Sun. So it’s not worth 25 anymore, but 50. Also, plants that can’t survive in the snow in real life wouldn’t be allowed on this level. So no starfruit, no coffee, and no torchwood, but yes cabbage, peashooter, and ice pea

The story behind the real Ice Level is really fascinating. I wouldn't say the level is "horrifying" but it is definitely uncanny.

The ice level is a secret level, just your normal front yard but the grass is replaced with, *ICE!!!* You cannot choose your own plants, and it cam be acessed by modifying some code in the game.
Are there no *good* PvZ (the og game, not the series) creepypastas?
Deadplant.exe was fine I guess, but it's more of 'passable because it's a step above the rest available' than 'good'.
I find it would be hard to make a "good" creepypasta that would freak people out with some thing such as this. I know a few good stories that freaked me out, but with Plants vs. Zombies? What good creepypasta could you write with it?
@@alephomega955 I mean, there's certainly potential, it just requires thinking outside of the box. The biggest problem with creepypastas is that most only think inside of it.
Stuff like Sonic.EYX takes steps outside of the box while simultaneously remaining within relatively typical boundaries, but turns out as a step above the majority of Sonic.exe-like creepypastas.
This said, I don't feel like a PvZ creepypasta could be good if it tried to follow in the footsteps of .exe-likes. Instead it'd have to pull something else, something only it could really do and make sense doing.
Perhaps something that utilizes the fact that its enemies are all zombies. There's even a 'customize the flag zombie' extra that can be done in some versions of the game, so that's an interesting place to start.
What if the game made its own custom zombies, and the zombies all looked like deceased people the player knew?
It'd first start with people the player didn't know, just seemingly random, but on further digging would have them discover they were folks who died 'near' them (idk, say it's in the US it could be surrounding states).
Then it would slowly become people the player disliked, such as previous bullies. Some would even appear in-game and the player thought they were alive, only to hear that the person/people died because of car crashes, burglaries, etc.
Then in late levels the amount of zombies would become far fewer, and it'd start sending out loved ones. Naturally there'd be no natural sun production for 'game balance'.
The game would eventually send out loved ones the player could swear were alive, again for the player to learn that they died because of [insert reasons here].
What beyond that idk, I'm not a creepypasta writer, was just letting out the moderately vague idea that I'm sure could be expanded upon into at least a _good_ creepypasta.
Turns out the Ice leavel was going to be a leavel in the game but got remove it was going to be in the game but was removed but we got an ice leavel in PvZ 2!
Who needs to waste their sun spelling "ice" when you can just use the diamond tester?

The Game Over sound only plays because the original music of the level vas deleted or the value was wrong (it also plays with the Beghowled sound that only plays if you try to make an undoable match)

i just now decided to go back to ice lvl to spell Ice and after i went to the menu i got a trophy on it in the limbo page then raced to the zen garden to see if the snow pea was that bad version you said it wasnt but if it was i would have deleted the game
